2 God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress.	2 Dios es para nosotros refugio y fortaleza, un socorro en la angustia siempre a punto.
3 Thus we do not fear, though earth be shaken and mountains quake to the depths of the sea,	3 Por eso no tememos si se altera la tierra, si los montes se conmueven en el fondo de los mares,
4 Though its waters rage and foam and mountains totter at its surging. The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. Selah	4 aunque sus aguas bramen y borboten, y los montes retiemblen a su ímpetu. (¡Con nosotros Yahveh Sebaot, baluarte para nosotros, el Dios de Jacob!) Pausa.
5 Streams of the river gladden the city of God, the holy dwelling of the Most High.	5 ¡Un río! Sus brazos recrean la ciudad de Dios, santificando las moradas del Altísimo.
6 God is in its midst; it shall not be shaken; God will help it at break of day.	6 Dios está en medio de ella, no será conmovida, Dios la socorre al llegar la mañana.
7 Though nations rage and kingdoms totter, God's voice thunders and the earth trembles.	7 Braman las naciones, se tambalean los reinos, lanza él su voz, la tierra se derrite.
8 The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. Selah	8 ¡Con nosotros Yahveh Sebaot, baluarte para nosotros, el Dios de Jacob! Pausa.
9 Come and see the works of the LORD, who has done fearsome deeds on earth;	9 Venid a contemplar los prodigios de Yahveh, el que llena la tierra de estupores.
10 Who stops wars to the ends of the earth, breaks the bow, splinters the spear, and burns the shields with fire;	10 Hace cesar las guerras hasta el extremo de la tierra; quiebra el arco, parte en dos la lanza, y prende fuego a los escudos.
11 Who says: "Be still and confess that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth."	11 «¡Basta ya; sabed que yo soy Dios, excelso sobre las naciones, sobre la tierra excelso!»
