2 God is our refuge and our strength, an ever-present help in distress.	2 Dieu est pour nous l’espérance, la force, le secours près de nous au moment du péril:
3 Thus we do not fear, though earth be shaken and mountains quake to the depths of the sea,	3 nous n’avons pas de crainte: le monde peut trembler, les montagnes s’enfoncer au cœur des mers.
4 Though its waters rage and foam and mountains totter at its surging. The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. Selah	4 Leurs eaux peuvent mugir et bouillonner, se soulever jusqu’à ébranler les monts. Le Seigneur Sabaot est avec nous, le Dieu de Jacob s’est fait pour nous forteresse.
5 Streams of the river gladden the city of God, the holy dwelling of the Most High.	5 Un fleuve - ses canaux réjouissent la cité - sanctifie les demeures du Très-Haut.
6 God is in its midst; it shall not be shaken; God will help it at break of day.	6 Dieu est au milieu d’elle, elle ne bougera pas, Dieu la secourt à l’approche du matin.
7 Though nations rage and kingdoms totter, God's voice thunders and the earth trembles.	7 Les nations mugissaient, les royaumes s’ébranlaient, il donne de la voix et le monde se défait!
8 The LORD of hosts is with us; our stronghold is the God of Jacob. Selah	8 Le Seigneur Sabaot est avec nous, le Dieu de Jacob s’est fait pour nous forteresse.
9 Come and see the works of the LORD, who has done fearsome deeds on earth;	9 Allez voir les œuvres du Seigneur, voyez les ravages qu’il a faits sur cette terre.
10 Who stops wars to the ends of the earth, breaks the bow, splinters the spear, and burns the shields with fire;	10 Il a fait taire les armes jusqu’au bout du monde, il a brisé l’arc et cassé la lance, il a mis le feu aux chars.
11 Who says: "Be still and confess that I am God! I am exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth."	11 “C’est assez, sachez que je suis Dieu bien au-dessus des nations, au-dessus de la terre.”
