Psalms 33

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Rejoice, you just, in the LORD; praise from the upright is fitting.	1 اهتفوا ايها الصديقون بالرب. بالمستقيمين يليق التسبيح‎.
2 Give thanks to the LORD on the harp; on the ten-stringed lyre offer praise.	2 ‎احمدوا الرب بالعود. بربابة ذات عشرة اوتار رنموا له‎.
3 Sing to God a new song; skillfully play with joyful chant.	3 ‎غنوا له اغنية جديدة. احسنوا العزف بهتاف‎.
4 For the LORD'S word is true; all his works are trustworthy.	4 ‎لان كلمة الرب مستقيمة وكل صنعه بالامانة‎.
5 The LORD loves justice and right and fills the earth with goodness.	5 ‎يحب البر والعدل. امتلأت الارض من رحمة الرب‎.
6 By the LORD'S word the heavens were made; by the breath of his mouth all their host.	6 ‎بكلمة الرب صنعت السموات وبنسمة فيه كل جنودها‎.
7 The waters of the sea were gathered as in a bowl; in cellars the deep was confined.	7 ‎يجمع كندّ امواه اليم يجعل اللجج في اهراء‎.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all who dwell in the world show reverence.	8 ‎لتخش الرب كل الارض ومنه ليخف كل سكان المسكونة‎.
9 For he spoke, and it came to be, commanded, and it stood in place.	9 ‎لانه قال فكان. هو أمر فصار‎.
10 The LORD foils the plan of nations, frustrates the designs of peoples.	10 ‎الرب ابطل مؤامرة الامم. لاشى افكار الشعوب‎.
11 But the plan of the LORD stands forever, wise designs through all generations.	11 ‎اما مؤامرة الرب فالى الابد تثبت. افكار قلبه الى دور فدور
12 Happy the nation whose God is the LORD, the people chosen as his very own.	12 طوبى للامّة التي الرب الهها الشعب الذي اختاره ميراثا لنفسه‎.
13 From heaven the LORD looks down and observes the whole human race,	13 ‎من السموات نظر الرب. رأى جميع بني البشر‎.
14 Surveying from the royal throne all who dwell on earth.	14 ‎من مكان سكناه تطلّع الى جميع سكان الارض‎.
15 The one who fashioned the hearts of them all knows all their works.	15 ‎المصوّر قلوبهم جميعا المنتبه الى كل اعمالهم‎.
16 A king is not saved by a mighty army, nor a warrior delivered by great strength.	16 ‎لن يخلص الملك بكثرة الجيش. الجبار لا ينقذ بعظم القوة‎.
17 Useless is the horse for safety; its great strength, no sure escape.	17 ‎باطل هو الفرس لاجل الخلاص وبشدة قوّته لا ينجّي‎.
18 But the LORD'S eyes are upon the reverent, upon those who hope for his gracious help,	18 ‎هوذا عين الرب على خائفيه الراجين رحمته
19 Delivering them from death, keeping them alive in times of famine.	19 لينجّي من الموت انفسهم وليستحييهم في الجوع
20 Our soul waits for the LORD, who is our help and shield.	20 انفسنا انتظرت الرب. معونتنا وترسنا هو‎.
21 For in God our hearts rejoice; in your holy name we trust.	21 ‎لانه به تفرح قلوبنا لاننا على اسمه القدوس اتكلنا‎.
22 May your kindness, LORD, be upon us; we have put our hope in you.	22 ‎لتكن يا رب رحمتك علينا حسبما انتظرناك
