KING JAMES BIBLENEW AMERICAN BIBLE
O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.1 For the leader. A psalm of the Korahites.
For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.2 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries.
He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.3 For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,
He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.4 Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet,
God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.5 Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah
Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.6 God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.
For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.7 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.
God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.8 God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.
The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.
The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.
