Psalms 129

KING JAMES BIBLE	LXX
1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:	1 ωδη των αναβαθμων εκ βαθεων εκεκραξα σε κυριε
2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.	2 κυριε εισακουσον της φωνης μου γενηθητω τα ωτα σου προσεχοντα εις την φωνην της δεησεως μου
3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.	3 εαν ανομιας παρατηρηση κυριε κυριε τις υποστησεται
4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.	4 οτι παρα σοι ο ιλασμος εστιν
5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.	5 ενεκεν του νομου σου υπεμεινα σε κυριε υπεμεινεν η ψυχη μου εις τον λογον σου
6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:	6 ηλπισεν η ψυχη μου επι τον κυριον απο φυλακης πρωιας μεχρι νυκτος απο φυλακης πρωιας ελπισατω ισραηλ επι τον κυριον
7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.	7 οτι παρα τω κυριω το ελεος και πολλη παρ' αυτω λυτρωσις
8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we bless you in the name of the LORD.	8 και αυτος λυτρωσεται τον ισραηλ εκ πασων των ανομιων αυτου
