Psalms 29

¹ A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.	¹ A psalm of David. Give to the LORD, you heavenly beings, give to the LORD glory and might;
² Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.	² Give to the LORD the glory due God's name. Bow down before the LORD'S holy splendor!
³ The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.	³ The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over the mighty waters.
⁴ The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.	⁴ The voice of the LORD is power; the voice of the LORD is splendor.
⁵ The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.	⁵ The voice of the LORD cracks the cedars; the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon,
⁶ And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.	⁶ Makes Lebanon leap like a calf, and Sirion like a young bull.
⁷ The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:	⁷ The voice of the LORD strikes with fiery flame;
⁸ The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.	⁸ the voice of the LORD rocks the desert; the LORD rocks the desert of Kadesh.
⁹ The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.	⁹ The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. All in his palace say, "Glory!"
¹⁰ The Lord maketh the hood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.	¹⁰ The LORD sits enthroned above the flood! The LORD reigns as king forever!
	¹¹ May the LORD give might to his people; may the LORD bless his people with peace!
