1 A psalm for David, at the finishing of the tabernacle. Bring to the Lord, O ye children of God: bring to the Lord the offspring of rams.	1 [Ein Psalm Davids.] Bringt dar dem Herrn, ihr Himmlischen, bringt dar dem Herrn Lob und Ehre!
2 Bring to the Lord glory and honour: bring to the Lord glory to his name: adore ye the Lord in his holy court.	2 Bringt dar dem Herrn die Ehre seines Namens, werft euch nieder vor dem Herrn in heiligem Schmuck!
3 The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.	3 Die Stimme des Herrn erschallt über den Wassern. Der Gott der Herrlichkeit donnert, der Herr über gewaltigen Wassern.
4 The voice of the Lord is in power; the voice of the Lord in magnificence.	4 Die Stimme des Herrn ertönt mit Macht, die Stimme des Herrn voll Majestät.
5 The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars: yea, the Lord shall break the cedars of Libanus.	5 Die Stimme des Herrn zerbricht die Zedern, der Herr zerschmettert die Zedern des Libanon.
6 And shall reduce them to pieces, as a calf of Libanus, and as the beloved son of unicorns.	6 Er lässt den Libanon hüpfen wie ein Kalb, wie einen Wildstier den Sirjon.
7 The voice of the Lord divideth the flame of fire:	7 Die Stimme des Herrn sprüht flammendes Feuer,
8 The voice of the Lord shaketh the desert: and the Lord shall shake the desert of Cades.	8 die Stimme des Herrn lässt die Wüste beben, beben lässt der Herr die Wüste von Kadesch.
9 The voice of the Lord prepareth the stags: and he will discover the thick woods: and in his temple all shall speak his glory.	9 Die Stimme des Herrn wirbelt Eichen empor, sie reißt ganze Wälder kahl. In seinem Palast rufen alle: O herrlicher Gott!
10 The Lord maketh the hood to dwell: and the Lord shall sit king for ever. The Lord will give strength to his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.	10 Der Herr thront über der Flut, der Herr thront als König in Ewigkeit.
	11 Der Herr gebe Kraft seinem Volk. Der Herr segne sein Volk mit Frieden.
