29 And at Gabaon dwelt Abigabaon, and the name of his wife was Maacha:29 In Gibeon wohnte der Vater von Gibeon, Jeïel; seine Frau hieß Maacha.
30 And his firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cia, and Baal, and Nadab,30 Sein Erstgeborener war Abdon; (ihm folgten) Zur, Kisch, Baal, Ner, Nadab,
31 And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher, and Macelloth:31 Gedor, Achjo, Secher und Miklot.
32 And Macelloth beget Samaa: and they dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem with their brethren.32 Miklot zeugte Schima. Auch diese ließen sich, dem Beispiel ihrer Brüder folgend, in Jerusalem bei ihren Brüdern nieder.
33 And Ner beget Cia, and Cia beget Saul. And Saul begot Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.33 Ner zeugte Kisch, und Kisch zeugte Saul. Saul zeugte Jonatan, Malkischua, Abinadab und Eschbaal.
34 And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begot Micha.34 Jonatans Sohn war Meribbaal. Meribbaal zeugte Micha.
35 And the sons of Micha were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.35 Michas Söhne waren Piton, Melech, Tarea und Achas.
36 And Ahaz beget Joada: and Joada beget Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri: and Zamri beget Mesa,36 Achas zeugte Joadda; Joadda zeugte Alemet, Asmawet und Simri. Simri zeugte Moza.
37 And Mesa beget Banaa, whose son was Rapha, of whom was born Elasa, who beget Asel.37 Moza zeugte Bina. Dessen Sohn war Rephaja, sein Sohn Elasa, dessen Sohn Azel.
38 And Asel had six sons whose names were Ezricam, Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Asel.38 Azel aber hatte sechs Söhne; diese hießen Asrikam, Bochru, Jischmael, Schearja, Obadja und Chanan. Sie alle waren Söhne Azels.
39 And the sons of Esec, his brother, were Ulam the firstborn, and Jehus the second, and Eliphelet the third.39 Die Söhne Escheks, seines Bruders, waren Ulam, sein Erstgeborener, Jëusch, der zweite, und Eliphelet, der dritte.
40 And the sons of Ulam were most valiant men, and archers of great strength: and they had many sons and grandsons, even to a hundred and fifty. All these were children of Benjamin.40 Die Söhne Ulams waren kriegstüchtige Männer, die den Bogen spannen konnten. Sie hatten viele Söhne und Enkel, nämlich hundertfünfzig. Alle diese gehörten zu den Nachkommen Benjamins.
