1 هؤلاء بنو اسرائيل. رأوبين شمعون لاوي ويهوذا يساكر وزبولون	1 These are the sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.
2 دان يوسف وبنيامين نفتالي جاد واشير.	2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 بنو يهوذا عير واونان وشيلة. ولد الثلاثة من بنت شوع الكنعانية. وكان عير بكر يهوذا شريرا في عيني الرب فاماته.	3 Sons of Judah: Er, Onan and Shelah. These three were born to him by Bath-shua the Canaanitewoman. Er, Judah's first-born, displeased Yahweh who put him to death.
4 وثامار كنته ولدت له فارص وزارح. كل بني يهوذا خمسة.	4 Tamar, Judah's daughter-in-law, bore him Perez and Zerah. Judah had five sons in al .
5 ابنا فارص حصرون وحامول.	5 Sons of Perez: Hezron and Hamul.
6 وبنو زارح زمري وايثان وهيمان وكلكول ودارع. الجميع خمسة.	6 Sons of Zerah: Zimri, Ethan, Heman, Calcol and Dara, five in all.
7 وابن كرمي عخار مكدّر اسرائيل الذي خان في الحرام.	7 Sons of Carmi: Achar, who brought trouble on Israel by being unfaithful to the curse of destruction.
8 وابن ايثان عزريا.	8 Sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 وبنو حصرون الذين ولدوا له يرحمئيل ورام وكلوباي.	9 Sons of Hezron: there were born to him Jerahmeel, Ram, Chelubai.
10 ورام ولد عمّيناداب وعمّيناداب ولد نحشون رئيس بني يهوذا	10 Ram fathered Amminadab, Amminadab fathered Nahshon chief of the sons of Judah,
11 ونحشون ولد سلمو وسلمو ولد بوعز	11 Nahshon fathered Salma, Salma fathered Boaz.
12 وبوعز ولد عوبيد وعوبيد ولد يسّى.	12 Boaz fathered Obed, Obed fathered Jesse.
13 ويسّى ولد بكره اليآب وابيناداب الثاني وشمعى الثالث	13 Jesse fathered Eliab, his first-born, Abinadab second, Shimea third,
14 ونثنئيل الرابع وردّاي الخامس	14 Nethanel fourth, Raddai fifth,
15 واوصم السادس وداود السابع.	15 Ozem sixth, David seventh.
16 واختاهم صروية وابيجايل. وبنو صروية ابشاي ويوآب وعسائيل ثلاثة.	16 Their sisters were Zeruiah and Abigail. Sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, Joab and Asahel: three.
17 وابيجايل ولدت عماسا وابو عماسا يثر الاسمعيلي	17 Abigail gave birth to Amasa; father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmaelite.
18 وكالب بن حصرون ولد من عزوبة امرأته ومن يريعوث. وهؤلاء بنوها ياشر وشوباب واردون.	18 Caleb son of Hezron fathered Jerioth by Azubah his wife; these are her sons: Jesher, Shobab andArdon.
19 وماتت عزوبة فاتخذ كالب لنفسه أفرات فولدت له حور.	19 Azubah died, and Caleb married Ephrath, who bore him Hur.
20 وحور ولد اوري واوري ولد بصلئيل.	20 Hur fathered Uri, Uri fathered Bezalel.
21 وبعد دخل حصرون على بنت ماكير ابي جلعاد واتخذها وهو ابن ستين سنة فولدت له سجوب.	21 Afterwards, Hezron married the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead; he married her when he wassixty years old and she bore him Segub.
22 وسجوب ولد يائير وكان له ثلاث وعشرون مدينة في ارض جلعاد.	22 Segub fathered Jair who held twenty-three towns in the territory of Gilead.
23 واخذ جشور وارام حوّوث يائير منهم مع قناة وقراها ستين مدينة. كل هؤلاء بنو ماكير ابي جلعاد.	23 From them, however, Geshur and Aram took the Encampments of Jair and Kenath with itsdependencies: sixty towns. All these used to belong to the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 وبعد وفاة حصرون في كالب افراتة ولدت له ابيّاه امرأة حصرون اشحور ابا تقوع	24 After Hezron's death, Caleb married Ephrathah, wife of Hezron his father, who bore him Ashhur fatherof Tekoa.
25 وكان بنو يرحمئيل بكر حصرون البكر رام ثم بونة واورن واوصم واخيّا.	25 Jerahmeel, Hezron's eldest son, fathered Hezron, his first-born, Ram, Bunah, Oren, Ozem, Ahijah.
26 وكانت امرأة اخرى ليرحمئيل اسمها عطارة. هي ام اونام.	26 Jerahmeel had another wife called Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
27 وكان بنو رام بكر يرحمئيل معص ويمين وعاقر.	27 Sons of Ram, Jerahmeel's first-born: Maaz, Jamin and Eker.
28 وكان ابنا اونام شمّاي وياداع. وابنا شمّاي ناداب وابيشور.	28 Sons of Onam: Shammai and Jada. Sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 واسم امرأة ابيشور ابيحايل وولدت له احبان وموليد.	29 Abishur's wife was cal ed Abihail; she bore him Ahban and Molid.
30 وابنا ناداب سلد وافّايم. ومات سلد بلا بنين.	30 Sons of Nadab: Seled and Ephraim. Seled died leaving no son.
31 وابن افّايم يشعي وابن يشعي شيشان وابن شيشان احلاي.	31 Son of Ephraim: Ishi; son of Ishi: Sheshan; son of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 وابنا ياداع اخي شمّاي يثر ويوناثان. ومات يثر بلا بنين.	32 Sons of Jada, Shammai's brother: Jether and Jonathan. Jether died leaving no sons.
33 وابنا يوناثان فالت وزازا. هؤلاء هم بنو يرحمئيل.	33 Sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
34 ولم يكن لشيشان بنون بل بنات. وكان لشيشان عبد مصري اسمه يرحع.	34 Sheshan had no sons, only daughters. He had an Egyptian slave Jarha
35 فاعطى شيشان ابنته ليرحع عبده امرأة فولدت له عتّاي.	35 to whom Sheshan gave his daughter in marriage. She bore him Attai.
36 وعتّاي ولد ناثان وناثان ولد زاباد	36 Attai fathered Nathan, Nathan fathered Zabad,
37 وزاباد ولد افلال وافلال ولد عوبيد	37 Zabad fathered Ephlal, Ephlal fathered Obed,
38 وعوبيد ولد ياهو وياهو ولد عزريا	38 Obed fathered Jehu, Jehu fathered Azariah,
39 وعزريا ولد حالص وحالص ولد إلعاسة	39 Azariah fathered Helez, Helez fathered Eleasah,
40 وإلعاسة ولد سسماي وسسماي ولد شلّوم	40 Eleasah fathered Sismai, Sismai fathered Shal um,
41 وشلّوم ولد يقمية ويقمية ولد اليشمع	41 Shallum fathered Jekamiah, Jekamiah fathered Elishama.
42 وبنو كالب اخي يرحمئيل ميشاع بكره. هو ابو زيف. وبنو مريشة ابي حبرون.	42 Sons of Caleb, Jerahmeel's brother: Mesha, his first-born, who fathered Ziph. His son was Mareshah,father of Hebron.
43 وبنو حبرون قورح وتفّوح وراقم وشامع.	43 Sons of Hebron: Korah, Tappuah, Rekem and Shema.
44 وشامع ولد راقم ابا يرقعا. وراقم ولد شمّاي.	44 Shema fathered Raham, father of Jorkeam. Rekem fathered Shammai.
45 وابن شمّاي معون ومعون ابو بيت صور.	45 Shammai's son was Maon, and Maon fathered Beth-Zur.
46 وعيفة سرية كالب ولدت حاران وموصا وجازيز. وحاران ولد جازيز.	46 Ephah, Caleb's concubine, gave birth to Haran, Moza and Gazez. Haran fathered Gazez.
47 وبنو يهداي رجم ويوثام وجيشان وفلط وعيفة وشاعف.	47 Sons of Jahdai: Regem, Jotham, Geshan, Pelet, Ephah and Shaaph.
48 واما معكة سرية كالب فولدت شبر وترحنة.	48 Maacah, Caleb's concubine, gave birth to Sheber and Tirhanah.
49 وولدت شاعف ابا مدمنّة وشوا ابا مكبينا وابا جبعا. وبنت كالب عكسة	49 She gave birth to Shaaph, who fathered Madmannah, and Sheva, who fathered Machbenah andGibea. The daughter of Caleb was Achsah.
50 هؤلاء هم بنو كالب بن حور بكر افراتة. شوبال ابو قرية يعاريم	50 These were the sons of Caleb. Sons of Hur, the first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal fathered Kiriath-Jearim;
51 وسلما ابو بيت لحم وحاريف ابو بيت جادير.	51 Salma fathered Bethlehem; Hareph fathered Beth-Gader.
52 وكان لشوبال ابي قرية يعاريم بنون هرواه وحصي همّنوحوت	52 Shobal, father of Kiriath-Jearim, had sons: Haroeh, that is, half of the Manahathites,
53 وعشائر قرية يعاريم اليثري والفوتي والشماتي والمشراعي. من هؤلاء خرج الصرعي والاشتاولي.	53 and the clans of Kiriath-Jearim: the Ithrites, Puthites, Shumathites and Mishraites. Their descendantsare the people of Zorah and Eshtaol.
54 بنو سلما بيت لحم والنطوفاتي وعطروت بيت يوآب وحصي المنوحي الصرعي.	54 Sons of Salma: Bethlehem, the Netophathites, Atroth Beth-Joab, half of the Manahathites, theZorathites,
55 وعشائر الكتبة سكان يعبيص ترعاتيم وشمعاتيم وسوكاتيم. هم القينيون الخارجون من حمّة ابي بيت ركاب	55 the Sophrite clans living at Jabez, the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, the Sucathites. They were theKenites descended from Hammath, father of the House of Rechab.
