1 Beati quelli la cui via è perfetta, quelli che camminano nella legge del Signore.	1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!
2 Beati quelli che osservano i suoi voleri e lo cercano con tutto il cuore.	2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,
3 Sicuramente non commettono iniquità, ma camminano nelle sue vie.	3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.
4 Tu hai ordinato di custodir bene i tuoi comandi.	4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.
5 Siano stabili le mie vie affinché custodisca i tuoi decreti.	5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .
6 Allora non dovrò arrossire, se avrò obbedito ai tuoi precetti.	6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.
7 Ti renderò grazie con cuore retto, allorché avrò appreso le tue giuste sentenze.	7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.
8 Custodirò i tuoi decreti: non abbandonarmi giammai.	8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.
9 In che modo potrà un giovane tener puro il suo sentiero? Custodendo le tue parole.	9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.
10 Con tutto il cuore ti cerco: non farmi deviare dai tuoi precetti.	10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.
11 Conservo nel mio cuore le tue promesse, in modo che non pecchi contro di te.	11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.
12 Benedetto sii tu, Signore: insegnami i tuoi decreti.	12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !
13 Enumero con le mie labbra tutti i giudizi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.
14 Nella via dei tuoi voleri io pongo la mia gioia, al di sopra di ogni altro bene.	14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.
15 Voglio riflettere sui tuoi comandi, considerare le tue vie.	15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.
16 La mia gioia è nei tuoi decreti, non dimenticherò le tue parole.	16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.
17 Sii benevolo con il tuo servo: vivrò e custodirò le tue parole.	17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.
18 Apri i miei occhi, perché io veda le meraviglie della tua legge.	18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.
19 Pellegrino io sono sulla terra: non tenermi nascosti i tuoi precetti.	19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.
20 Si consuma la mia anima di desiderio verso i tuoi giudizi, in ogni tempo.	20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.
21 Tu hai minacciato gli orgogliosi: maledetti quelli che deviano dai tuoi precetti.	21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.
22 Allontana da me vergogna e disprezzo, poiché ho osservato i tuoi voleri.	22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.
23 Siedono i potenti e sparlano di me; ma il tuo servo medita sui tuoi decreti.	23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .
24 I tuoi voleri sono la mia gioia, essi sono i miei consiglieri.	24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.
25 Prostrata nella polvere è l'anima mia: ridammi vita secondo le tue parole.	25 Down in the dust I lie prostrate; true to your word, revive me.
26 Ti ho esposto le mie vie e mi hai dato risposta; insegnami i tuoi decreti.	26 I tell you my ways and you answer me; teach me your wishes.
27 La via dei tuoi comandi fammi capire: voglio meditare le tue meraviglie.	27 Show me the way of your precepts, that I may reflect on your wonders.
28 L'anima mia piange per la tristezza: dammi vigore secondo le tue parole.	28 I am melting away for grief; true to your word, raise me up.
29 La via della menzogna tieni lontano da me; fammi dono della tua legge.	29 Keep me far from the way of deceit, grant me the grace of your Law.
30 La via della fedeltà ho scelto, ho preferito i tuoi giudizi.	30 I have chosen the way of constancy, I have moulded myself to your judgements.
31 Ho aderito ai tuoi voleri: fa', Signore, che io non rimanga confuso.	31 I cling to your instructions, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.
32 Io percorro la via dei tuoi precetti; sì, tu dilati il mio cuore.	32 I run the way of your commandments, for you have given me freedom of heart.
33 Insegnami, Signore, la via dei tuoi decreti: voglio seguirla sino alla fine.	33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.
34 Dammi intelligenza per osservare la tua legge e custodirla con tutto il cuore.	34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.
35 Dirigimi sul sentiero dei tuoi precetti; sì, sta in esso il mio diletto.	35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.
36 Piega il mio cuore verso i tuoi voleri e non verso la sete di guadagno.	36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.
37 Distogli i miei occhi dallo scorgere cose vane; fammi vivere sulla tua via.	37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.
38 Conferma per il tuo servo la tua promessa, quella che conduce al tuo timore.	38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.
39 Allontana l'insulto che mi dà sgomento; sì, sono buoni i tuoi giudizi.	39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.
40 Ecco, io anelo verso i tuoi comandi: fammi vivere nella tua giustizia.	40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.
41 A me giunga, Signore, la tua misericordia, la tua salvezza, secondo la tua promessa.	41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!
42 A chi m'insulta saprò rispondere, poiché ho fiducia nella tua parola.	42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.
43 Non sottrarre dalla mia bocca la parola di verità, poiché ho speranza nel tuo giudizio.	43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.
44 Custodirò sempre la tua legge nei secoli, in eterno.	44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.
45 Camminerò con sicurezza; sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.	45 I shal live in all freedom because I have sought your precepts.
46 Davanti ai re parlerò dei tuoi voleri, senza mai vergognarmi.	46 I shal speak of your instructions before kings and wil not be shamed.
47 Gioirò per i tuoi precetti: io li amo molto.	47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.
48 Alzerò le mie mani verso i tuoi precetti che amo e mediterò sui tuoi decreti.	48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.
49 Ricordati della parola data al tuo servo: con essa tu mi hai dato speranza.	49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.
50 Questo mi ha consolato nella mia miseria; sì, la tua promessa mi ha fatto rivivere.	50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.
51 Mi hanno insultato aspramente i superbi; non ho deviato dalla tua legge.	51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.
52 Mi sono ricordato, Signore, dei tuoi eterni giudizi: ne sono rimasto consolato.	52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.
53 Lo sdegno mi ha preso contro gli empi, poiché non si curano della tua legge.	53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.
54 Son canti per me i tuoi voleri nella terra del mio pellegrinaggio.	54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.
55 Nella notte, Signore, ricordo il tuo nome; voglio custodire la tua legge.	55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.
56 Questo mi avviene, perché osservo i tuoi precetti.	56 This is what it means to me, observing your precepts.
57 La mia sorte, ho detto, è custodire le tue parole, o Signore.	57 My task, I have said, Yahweh, is to keep your word.
58 Con tutto il cuore io cerco il tuo volto: fammi grazia secondo la tua promessa.	58 Wholeheartedly I entreat your favour; true to your promise, take pity on me!
59 Ho esaminato le mie vie e ho rivolto i miei passi verso i tuoi voleri.	59 I have reflected on my ways, and I turn my steps to your instructions.
60 Mi affretto, non voglio tardare nel custodire i tuoi precetti.	60 I hurry without delay to keep your commandments.
61 Mi hanno avvinto i lacci degli empi, ma non dimentico la tua legge.	61 Though caught in the snares of the wicked, I do not forget your Law.
62 Nel cuore della notte mi alzo per renderti grazie a causa dei tuoi giusti giudizi.	62 At midnight I rise to praise you for your upright judgements.
63 Sono amico di tutti quelli che ti temono e di quelli che custodiscono i tuoi comandi.	63 I am a friend to all who fear you and keep your precepts.
64 Della tua misericordia, Signore, è piena la terra: fa' che apprenda i tuoi decreti.	64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.
65 Hai beneficato il tuo servo, Signore, secondo la tua parola.	65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.
66 Insegnami buon senso e conoscenza: sì, sto saldo nei tuoi precetti.	66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.
67 Prima che fossi umiliato andavo errando. Ora mi attengo alla tua promessa.	67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.
68 Tu sei buono e tratti con benevolenza: insegnami i tuoi decreti.	68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .
69 Menzogna hanno gettato contro di me i superbi: con tutto il cuore osserverò i tuoi ordini.	69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.
70 Torpido come il grasso è il loro cuore: io mi diletto della tua legge.	70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.
71 Bene per me, se sono stato umiliato: imparerò la tua legge.	71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.
72 E' un bene per me la legge della tua bocca, più di migliaia di pezzi d'oro o d'argento.	72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.
73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e plasmato: fammi capire e imparerò i tuoi precetti.	73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.
74 Mi vedranno quelli che ti temono e ne avranno gioia; sì, spero nella tua parola.	74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.
75 So che sono giusti i tuoi giudizi, Signore, e con ragione mi hai umiliato.	75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.
76 Venga a consolarmi la tua misericordia, secondo la promessa fatta al tuo servo.	76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.
77 Giunga a me la tua pietà affinché io viva: sì, il mio diletto è la tua legge.	77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.
78 Abbiano vergogna i superbi per avermi oppresso ingiustamente: io mediterò sui tuoi comandi.	78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.
79 Si volgano a me quelli che ti temono, quelli che conoscono i tuoi voleri.	79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.
80 Sia integro il mio cuore nei tuoi decreti, sì che non abbia ad arrossire.	80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.
81 Si strugge l'anima mia verso la tua salvezza; io spero nella tua parola.	81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.
82 Si struggono i miei occhi verso la tua promessa e dico: "Quando mi darai conforto?".	82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?
83 Sì, sono come un otre esposto al fumo, ma non ho dimenticato i tuoi decreti.	83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .
84 Quanti saranno i giorni del tuo servo? Quando farai il giudizio contro quelli che mi perseguitano?	84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?
85 Mi hanno scavato fosse gl'insolenti, i quali non seguono la tua legge.	85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.
86 Tutti i tuoi precetti sono veri. A torto mi perseguitano: accorri in mio aiuto.	86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.
87 Per poco non mi hanno bandito dalla terra, ma non ho abbandonato i tuoi comandi.	87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.
88 Dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia, e custodirò i voleri della tua bocca.	88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.
89 In eterno, Signore, rimane la tua parola; essa sta immobile come i cieli.	89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.
90 Per ogni generazione dura la tua fedeltà; hai reso salda la terra ed essa sta.	90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.
91 Per i tuoi giudizi oggi tutto sussiste, poiché tutte le cose servono a te.	91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.
92 Se la tua legge non fosse stata la mia gioia, da tempo sarei perito nella mia afflizione.	92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.
93 Non mi dimenticherò mai i tuoi comandi, poiché con essi mi hai ridato la vita.	93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
94 Io sono tuo: salvami! Sì, io cerco i tuoi comandi.	94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.
95 Gli empi m'insidiano per gettarmi in rovina: ma io cerco di comprendere i tuoi voleri.	95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.
96 Di ogni cosa perfetta ho visto il limite; ma il tuo decreto è senza confini.	96 I have seen that al perfection is finite, but your commandment has no limit.
97 Quanto mi è cara la tua legge! Tutto il giorno la vado meditando.	97 How I love your Law! I ponder it al day long.
98 Più sapiente dei miei nemici mi ha fatto il tuo precetto; sì, esso sta sempre con me.	98 You make me wiser than my enemies by your commandment which is mine for ever.
99 Più saggio dei miei maestri son diventato, poiché i tuoi voleri son la mia meditazione.	99 I am wiser than al my teachers because I ponder your instructions.
100 Più degli anziani ho intelligenza, poiché ho osservato i tuoi comandi.	100 I have more understanding than the aged because I keep your precepts.
101 Da ogni via di male trattengo il mio piede, custodendo la tua parola.	101 I restrain my foot from evil paths to keep your word.
102 Dai tuoi giudizi non ho deviato, poiché sei stato tu ad ammaestrarmi.	102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, because you yourself have instructed me.
103 Dolci al mio palato le tue promesse, più che il miele alla mia bocca.	103 How pleasant your promise to my palate, sweeter than honey in my mouth!
104 Dai tuoi comandi ricevo intelligenza; per questo ho in odio ogni via di menzogna.	104 From your precepts I learn wisdom, so I hate all deceptive ways.
105 Lampada per i miei passi è la tua parola, luce al mio cammino.	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
106 Lo giuro e lo confermo: custodirò i tuoi giusti giudizi.	106 I have sworn -- and shal maintain it -- to keep your upright judgements.
107 Sono afflitto oltre misura: dammi vita, Signore, secondo la tua parola.	107 I am utterly wretched, Yahweh; true to your promise, give me life.
108 Gradisci, Signore, le offerte della mia bocca; insegnami i tuoi giudizi.	108 Accept, Yahweh, the tribute from my mouth, and teach me your judgements.
109 La mia anima sta sempre sulle mie mani, ma non dimentico la tua legge.	109 My life is in your hands perpetual y, I do not forget your Law.
110 Hanno teso lacci gli empi contro di me, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi comandi.	110 The wicked have laid out a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Mia eredità sono i tuoi voleri, per sempre; sì, sono la gioia del mio cuore.	111 Your instructions are my eternal heritage, they are the joy of my heart.
112 Ho piegato il mio cuore ai tuoi decreti, per sempre, sino alla fine.	112 I devote myself to obeying your statutes, their recompense is eternal.

115 Allontanatevi da me, o malvagi: voglio osservare i precetti del mio Dio.	115 Leave me alone, you wicked, I shal observe the commandments of my God.
116 Sostienimi secondo la tua promessa e vivrò; non deludermi dalla mia speranza.	116 True to your word, support me and I shal live; do not disappoint me of my hope.
117 Sostienimi e sarò salvo; mi rallegrerò sempre per i tuoi decreti.	117 Uphold me and I shall be saved, my gaze fixed on your wil .
118 Tu disprezzi quanti deviano dai tuoi decreti; sì, vano risulterà il loro pensiero.	118 You shake off al who stray from your wil ; deceit fills their horizon.
119 Scorie tu stimi tutti gli empi del paese; per questo io amo i tuoi voleri.	119 In your sight al the wicked of the earth are like rust, so I love your instructions.
120 La mia carne freme nella paura di te, ho timore dei tuoi giudizi.	120 My whole body trembles before you, your judgements fill me with fear.
121 Ho praticato il giudizio e la giustizia: non abbandonarmi a chi m'opprime.	121 Al my conduct has been just and upright, do not hand me over to my oppressors.
122 Fatti garante a favore del tuo servo: non mi opprimano gli insolenti.	122 Guarantee the wel -being of your servant, do not let the proud oppress me.
123 I miei occhi si struggono verso la tua salvezza, verso la tua promessa di giustizia.	123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.
124 Agisci con il tuo servo, secondo il tuo amore, insegnami i tuoi decreti.	124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.
125 Io sono tuo servo: dammi intelligenza, affinché conosca i tuoi voleri.	125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.
126 E' tempo di agire, Signore, hanno trasgredito la tua legge.	126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.
127 Per questo amo i tuoi precetti più che l'oro, più che l'oro raffinato.	127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.
128 Per questo reputo retti tutti i tuoi comandi, mentre detesto ogni sentiero di menzogna.	128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.
129 Meravigliosi sono i tuoi voleri; per questo li osserva l'anima mia.	129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.
130 La rivelazione delle tue parole dà luce; essa dà intelligenza ai semplici.	130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.
131 Apro anelante la mia bocca: sì, io bramo i tuoi precetti.	131 I open wide my mouth, panting eagerly for your commandments.
132 Vienimi incontro e abbi pietà di me, secondo il giudizio che tu riservi per chi ama il tuo nome.	132 Turn to me, pity me; those who love your name deserve it.
133 Rinsalda i miei passi secondo la tua promessa; che io non sia dominato da alcuna iniquità.	133 Keep my steps firm in your promise; that no evil may triumph over me.
134 Riscattami dall'oppressione dell'uomo e custodirò i tuoi comandi.	134 Rescue me from human oppression, and I wil observe your precepts.
135 Sul tuo servo fa' risplendere il tuo volto; insegnami i tuoi decreti.	135 Let your face shine on your servant, teach me your wil .
136 Torrenti di lacrime grondano i miei occhi, perché non custodiscono la tua legge.	136 My eyes stream with tears because your Law is disregarded.
137 Tu sei giusto, Signore, e retti sono i tuoi giudizi.	137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.
138 Con giustizia hai imposto i tuoi voleri, con verità incomparabile.	138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.
139 Mi divora lo zelo per te perché i miei avversari hanno dimenticato le tue parole.	139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.
140 Purissima è la tua promessa: il tuo servo l'ama.	140 Your promise is wel tested, your servant holds it dear.
141 Io sono piccolo e oggetto di disprezzo: non ho dimenticato i tuoi comandi.	141 Puny and despised as I am, I do not forget your precepts.
142 La tua giustizia è giustizia eterna, verità è la tua legge.	142 Your saving justice is for ever just, and your Law is trustworthy.
143 Angustia e affanno mi hanno colto: i tuoi precetti sono la mia gioia.	143 Though anguish and distress grip me your commandments are my delight.
144 Giustizia sempiterna sono i tuoi voleri; fammi comprendere e avrò la vita.	144 Your instructions are upright for ever, give me understanding and I shal live.
145 Grido con tutto il cuore: "Signore, rispondimi!". Voglio osservare i tuoi decreti.	145 I cal with al my heart; answer me, Yahweh, and I wil observe your judgements.
146 Io grido a te: salvami! Voglio custodire i tuoi voleri.	146 I cal to you; save me, and I wil keep your instructions.
147 Mi presento all'alba e grido aiuto: spero nelle tue parole.	147 I am awake before dawn to cry for help, I put my hope in your word.
148 Precedono i miei occhi le sentinelle nel meditare la tua promessa.	148 My eyes are awake before each watch of the night, to ponder your promise.
149 Ascolta, Signore, la mia voce, secondo la tua misericordia; dammi vita secondo i tuoi giudizi.	149 In your faithful love, Yahweh, listen to my voice, let your judgements give me life.
150 A tradimento mi assalgono quelli che mi perseguitano: sono lontani dalla tua legge.	150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.
151 Tu sei vicino, Signore, e veri sono i tuoi precetti.	151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.
152 Conosco da tempo i tuoi voleri; sì, tu li hai fissati per sempre.	152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.
153 Volgi lo sguardo verso la mia miseria e salvami! Sì, non dimentico la tua legge.	153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.
154 Difendi la mia causa e riscattami; dammi vita secondo la tua promessa.	154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.
155 Lontano dai malvagi sta la salvezza poiché non cercano i tuoi decreti.	155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your will.
156 Grande è, Signore, la tua pietà: dammi vita secondo i tuoi decreti.	156 Your kindnesses to me are countless, Yahweh; true to your judgements, give me life.
157 Sono molti gli avversari che m'inseguono, ma non ho deviato dai tuoi voleri.	157 Though my enemies and oppressors are countless, I do not turn aside from your instructions.
158 Ho visto dei traditori e ne ho avuto ribrezzo, perché non custodiscono la tua promessa.	158 The sight of these renegades appals me; they do not observe your promise.
159 Vedi, Signore: io amo i tuoi precetti; dammi vita secondo la tua misericordia.	159 See how I love your precepts; true to your faithful love, give me life.
160 L'essenza della tua parola è fedeltà; dura in eterno ogni tuo giusto giudizio.	160 Faithfulness is the essence of your word, your upright judgements hold good for ever.
161 Dei prìncipi mi perseguitano, ma senza motivo; il mio cuore teme le tue parole.	161 Though princes hound me unprovoked, what fil s me with awe is your word.
162 Io trovo gioia nella tua promessa, come chi ha trovato un grande tesoro.	162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.
163 Ho in odio la menzogna e la detesto; amo invece la tua legge.	163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.
164 Sette volte al giorno io ti lodo, a motivo dei tuoi giusti giudizi.	164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.
165 Grande pace per chi ama la tua legge; non c'è per loro alcun inciampo.	165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!
