EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Im Anfang war das Wort, und das Wort war bei Gott, und das Wort war Gott.	1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 Im Anfang war es bei Gott.	2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 Alles ist durch das Wort geworden und ohne das Wort wurde nichts, was geworden ist.	3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In ihm war das Leben und das Leben war das Licht der Menschen.	4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 Und das Licht leuchtet in der Finsternis und die Finsternis hat es nicht erfasst.	5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 Es trat ein Mensch auf, der von Gott gesandt war; sein Name war Johannes.	6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 Er kam als Zeuge, um Zeugnis abzulegen für das Licht, damit alle durch ihn zum Glauben kommen.	7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 Er war nicht selbst das Licht, er sollte nur Zeugnis ablegen für das Licht.	8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 Das wahre Licht, das jeden Menschen erleuchtet, kam in die Welt.	9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 Er war in der Welt und die Welt ist durch ihn geworden, aber die Welt erkannte ihn nicht.	10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 Er kam in sein Eigentum, aber die Seinen nahmen ihn nicht auf.	11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 Allen aber, die ihn aufnahmen, gab er Macht, Kinder Gottes zu werden, allen, die an seinen Namen glauben,	12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 die nicht aus dem Blut, nicht aus dem Willen des Fleisches, nicht aus dem Willen des Mannes, sondern aus Gott geboren sind.	13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 Und das Wort ist Fleisch geworden und hat unter uns gewohnt und wir haben seine Herrlichkeit gesehen, die Herrlichkeit des einzigen Sohnes vom Vater, voll Gnade und Wahrheit.	14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
15 Johannes legte Zeugnis für ihn ab und rief: Dieser war es, über den ich gesagt habe: Er, der nach mir kommt, ist mir voraus, weil er vor mir war.	15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.
16 Aus seiner Fülle haben wir alle empfangen, Gnade über Gnade.	16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
17 Denn das Gesetz wurde durch Mose gegeben, die Gnade und die Wahrheit kamen durch Jesus Christus.	17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
18 Niemand hat Gott je gesehen. Der Einzige, der Gott ist und am Herzen des Vaters ruht, er hat Kunde gebracht.	18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
19 Dies ist das Zeugnis des Johannes: Als die Juden von Jerusalem aus Priester und Leviten zu ihm sandten mit der Frage: Wer bist du?,	19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?
20 bekannte er und leugnete nicht; er bekannte: Ich bin nicht der Messias.	20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.
21 Sie fragten ihn: Was bist du dann? Bist du Elija? Und er sagte: Ich bin es nicht. Bist du der Prophet? Er antwortete: Nein.	21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.
22 Da fragten sie ihn: Wer bist du? Wir müssen denen, die uns gesandt haben, Auskunft geben. Was sagst du über dich selbst?	22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
23 Er sagte: Ich bin die Stimme, die in der Wüste ruft: Ebnet den Weg für den Herrn!, wie der Prophet Jesaja gesagt hat.	23 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.
24 Unter den Abgesandten waren auch Pharisäer.	24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
25 Sie fragten Johannes: Warum taufst du dann, wenn du nicht der Messias bist, nicht Elija und nicht der Prophet?	25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?
26 Er antwortete ihnen: Ich taufe mit Wasser. Mitten unter euch steht der, den ihr nicht kennt	26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
27 und der nach mir kommt; ich bin es nicht wert, ihm die Schuhe aufzuschnüren.	27 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe's latchet I am not worthy to unloose.
28 Dies geschah in Betanien, auf der anderen Seite des Jordan, wo Johannes taufte.	28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 Am Tag darauf sah er Jesus auf sich zukommen und sagte: Seht, das Lamm Gottes, das die Sünde der Welt hinwegnimmt.	29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
30 Er ist es, von dem ich gesagt habe: Nach mir kommt ein Mann, der mir voraus ist, weil er vor mir war.	30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
31 Auch ich kannte ihn nicht; aber ich bin gekommen und taufe mit Wasser, um Israel mit ihm bekanntzumachen.	31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
32 Und Johannes bezeugte: Ich sah, dass der Geist vom Himmel herabkam wie eine Taube und auf ihm blieb.	32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.
33 Auch ich kannte ihn nicht; aber er, der mich gesandt hat, mit Wasser zu taufen, er hat mir gesagt: Auf wen du den Geist herabkommen siehst und auf wem er bleibt, der ist es, der mit dem Heiligen Geist tauft.	33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
34 Das habe ich gesehen und ich bezeuge: Er ist der Sohn Gottes.	34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.
35 Am Tag darauf stand Johannes wieder dort und zwei seiner Jünger standen bei ihm.	35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;
36 Als Jesus vorüberging, richtete Johannes seinen Blick auf ihn und sagte: Seht, das Lamm Gottes!	36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!
37 Die beiden Jünger hörten, was er sagte, und folgten Jesus.	37 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
38 Jesus aber wandte sich um, und als er sah, dass sie ihm folgten, fragte er sie: Was wollt ihr? Sie sagten zu ihm: Rabbi - das heißt übersetzt: Meister , wo wohnst du?	38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?
39 Er antwortete: Kommt und seht! Da gingen sie mit und sahen, wo er wohnte, und blieben jenen Tag bei ihm; es war um die zehnte Stunde.	39 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.
40 Andreas, der Bruder des Simon Petrus, war einer der beiden, die das Wort des Johannes gehört hatten und Jesus gefolgt waren.	40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
41 Dieser traf zuerst seinen Bruder Simon und sagte zu ihm: Wir haben den Messias gefunden. Messias heißt übersetzt: der Gesalbte (Christus).	41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
42 Er führte ihn zu Jesus. Jesus blickte ihn an und sagte: Du bist Simon, der Sohn des Johannes, du sollst Kephas heißen. Kephas bedeutet: Fels (Petrus).	42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.
43 Am Tag darauf wollte Jesus nach Galiläa aufbrechen; da traf er Philippus. Und Jesus sagte zu ihm: Folge mir nach!	43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.
44 Philippus war aus Betsaida, dem Heimatort des Andreas und Petrus.	44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.
45 Philippus traf Natanaël und sagte zu ihm: Wir haben den gefunden, über den Mose im Gesetz und auch die Propheten geschrieben haben: Jesus aus Nazaret, den Sohn Josefs.	45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
46 Da sagte Natanaël zu ihm: Aus Nazaret? Kann von dort etwas Gutes kommen? Philippus antwortete: Komm und sieh!	46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
47 Jesus sah Natanaël auf sich zukommen und sagte über ihn: Da kommt ein echter Israelit, ein Mann ohne Falschheit.	47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
48 Natanaël fragte ihn: Woher kennst du mich? Jesus antwortete ihm: Schon bevor dich Philippus rief, habe ich dich unter dem Feigenbaum gesehen.	48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
49 Natanaël antwortete ihm: Rabbi, du bist der Sohn Gottes, du bist der König von Israel!	49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.
50 Jesus antwortete ihm: Du glaubst, weil ich dir sagte, dass ich dich unter dem Feigenbaum sah? Du wirst noch Größeres sehen.	50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.
51 Und er sprach zu ihm: Amen, amen, ich sage euch: Ihr werdet den Himmel geöffnet und die Engel Gottes auf- und niedersteigen sehen über dem Menschensohn.	51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
