Deuteronomium 27

EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Mose und die Ältesten Israels befahlen dem Volk: Achtet auf das ganze Gebot, auf das ich euch heute verpflichte.	1 Moses and the elders of Israel gave the people this command: 'Keep al the commandments which Iam laying down for you today.
2 An dem Tag, wenn ihr über den Jordan zieht in das Land, das der Herr, dein Gott, dir gibt, sollst du große Steine aufrichten, sie mit Kalk bestreichen	2 After you have crossed the Jordan into the country which Yahweh your God is giving you, you mustset up tal stones, coat them with lime
3 und alle Worte dieser Weisung darauf schreiben, wenn du hinüberziehst, um in das Land, das der Herr, dein Gott, dir gibt, das Land, wo Milch und Honig fließen, hineinzuziehen, wie der Herr, der Gott deiner Väter, es dir zugesagt hat.	3 and on them write all the words of this Law, when you have crossed and entered the country whichYahweh your God is giving you, a country flowing with milk and honey, as Yahweh, God of your ancestors, haspromised you.
4 Wenn ihr über den Jordan zieht, sollt ihr diese Steine, die zu errichten ich euch heute befehle, auf dem Berg Garizim aufrichten. Mit Kalk sollst du sie bestreichen.	4 'When you have crossed the Jordan, you must erect these stones on Mount Ebal, as I command youtoday, and coat them with lime.
5 Dort sollst du dem Herrn, deinem Gott, einen Altar bauen, einen Altar aus Steinen. Du darfst nicht mit Eisenwerkzeug daran arbeiten.	5 There, for Yahweh your God, you must build an altar of stones, on which no iron has been used.
6 Aus unbehauenen Steinen sollst du den Altar des Herrn, deines Gottes, bauen und auf ihm sollst du Brandopfertiere für den Herrn, deinen Gott, verbrennen.	6 You must build the altar of Yahweh your God of rough stones, and on this altar you will present burntofferings to Yahweh your God,
7 Dort sollst du Heilsopfertiere schlachten und verzehren und vor dem Herrn, deinem Gott, fröhlich sein.	7 and immolate communion sacrifices and eat them there, rejoicing in the presence of Yahweh yourGod.
8 Und auf die Steine sollst du in schöner Schrift alle Worte dieser Weisung schreiben.	8 On these stones you must write al the words of this Law; cut them careful y.'
9 Mose und die levitischen Priester sagten zu ganz Israel: Sei still und höre, Israel: Heute, an diesem Tag, bist du das Volk des Herrn, deines Gottes, geworden.	9 Moses and the levitical priests then said to al Israel: 'Be silent, Israel, and listen. Today you havebecome a people for Yahweh your God.
10 Du sollst auf die Stimme des Herrn, deines Gottes, hören und seine Gebote und Gesetze halten, auf die ich dich heute verpflichte.	10 You must listen to the voice of Yahweh your God and observe the commandments and laws which Iam laying down for you today.'
11 Am gleichen Tag befahl Mose dem Volk:	11 That day Moses gave the people this order:
12 Folgende Stämme sollen sich auf dem Berg Garizim aufstellen, um das Volk zu segnen, wenn ihr den Jordan überschritten habt: Simeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Josef und Benjamin.	12 'When you have crossed the Jordan, the fol owing wil stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people:Simeon and Levi, Judah and Issachar, Joseph and Benjamin.
13 Folgende Stämme sollen sich am Berg Ebal aufstellen, um den Fluch zu sprechen: Ruben, Gad, Ascher, Sebulon, Dan und Naftali.	13 And the fol owing wil stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad and Asher, Zebulun, Dan andNaphtali.
14 Die Leviten sollen über alle Männer Israels mit lauter Stimme ausrufen:	14 The Levites wil then speak, proclaiming loudly to al the Israelites:
15 Verflucht ist der Mann, der ein Gottesbildnis, das dem Herrn ein Gräuel ist, ein Künstlermachwerk, schnitzt oder gießt und es heimlich aufstellt. Und das ganze Volk soll ausrufen: Amen.	15 "Accursed be anyone who makes a carved or cast idol, a thing detestable to Yahweh, a workman'sartefact, and sets it up in secret." And the people are al to respond by saying, Amen.
16 Verflucht, wer Vater oder Mutter schmäht. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	16 "Accursed be anyone who treats father or mother dishonourably." And the people must al say,Amen.
17 Verflucht, wer den Grenzstein seines Nachbarn verrückt. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	17 "Accursed be anyone who displaces a neighbour's boundary mark." And the people must al say,Amen.
18 Verflucht, wer einem Blinden den falschen Weg weist. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	18 "Accursed be anyone who leads the blind astray on the road." And the people must al say, Amen.
19 Verflucht, wer das Recht der Fremden, die Waisen sind, und das der Witwen beugt. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	19 "Accursed be anyone who violates the rights of the foreigner, the orphan and the widow." And thepeople must al say, Amen.
20 Verflucht, wer sich mit der Frau seines Vaters hinlegt, denn er deckt das Bett seines Vaters auf. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	20 "Accursed be anyone who has sexual intercourse with his father's wife and withdraws the skirt of hisfather's cloak from her." And the people must all say, Amen.
21 Verflucht, wer sich mit irgendeinem Tier hinlegt. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	21 "Accursed be anyone who has sexual intercourse with any kind of animal." And the people must allsay, Amen.
22 Verflucht, wer sich mit seiner Schwester hinlegt, mit der Tochter seines Vaters oder mit der Tochter seiner Mutter. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	22 "Accursed be anyone who has sexual intercourse with his sister, the daughter of his father or of hismother." And the people must al say, Amen.
23 Verflucht, wer sich mit seiner Schwiegermutter hinlegt. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	23 "Accursed be anyone who has sexual intercourse with his mother-in-law." And the people must alsay, Amen.
24 Verflucht, wer einen andern heimlich erschlägt. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	24 "Accursed be anyone who secretly strikes down his neighbour." And the people must al say, Amen.
25 Verflucht, wer sich bestechen lässt, einen unschuldigen Menschen zu töten. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	25 "Accursed be anyone who accepts a bribe to take an innocent life." And the people must al say,Amen.
26 Verflucht, wer nicht die Worte dieser Weisung stützt, indem er sie hält. Und das ganze Volk soll rufen: Amen.	26 "Accursed be anyone who does not make the words of this Law effective by putting them intopractice." And the people must al say, Amen.'
