1 BEATI coloro che sono intieri di via, Che camminano nella Legge del Signore.	1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Law of Yahweh!
2 Beati coloro che guardano le sue testimonianze, Che lo cercano con tutto il cuore;	2 Blessed are those who observe his instructions, who seek him with all their hearts,
3 I quali eziandio non operano iniquità; Anzi camminano nelle sue vie	3 and, doing no evil, who walk in his ways.
4 Tu hai ordinato che i tuoi comandamenti Sieno strettamente osservati.	4 You lay down your precepts to be careful y kept.
5 Oh! sieno pure addirizzate le mie vie, Per osservare i tuoi statuti.	5 May my ways be steady in doing your wil .
6 Allora io non sarò svergognato, Quando io riguarderò a tutti i tuoi comandamenti	6 Then I shal not be shamed, if my gaze is fixed on your commandments.
7 Io ti celebrerò con dirittura di cuore, Quando io avrò imparate le leggi della tua giustizia.	7 I thank you with a sincere heart for teaching me your upright judgements.
8 Io osserverò i tuoi statuti; Non abbandonarmi del tutto	8 I shal do your will; do not ever abandon me whol y.
9 Come renderà il fanciullo la sua via pura? Prendendo guardia ad essa secondo la tua parola	9 How can a young man keep his way spotless? By keeping your words.
10 Io ti ho cercato con tutto il mio cuore; Non lasciarmi deviar da’ tuoi comandamenti	10 With al my heart I seek you, do not let me stray from your commandments.
11 Io ho riposta la tua parola nel mio cuore; Acciocchè io non pecchi contro a te	11 In my heart I treasure your promises, to avoid sinning against you.
12 Tu sei benedetto, o Signore; Insegnami i tuoi statuti	12 Blessed are you, Yahweh, teach me your wil !
13 Io ho colle mie labbra raccontate Tutte le leggi della tua bocca.	13 With my lips I have repeated al the judgements you have given.
14 Io gioisco nella via delle tue testimonianze, Come per tutte le ricchezze del mondo.	14 In the way of your instructions lies my joy, a joy beyond al wealth.
15 Io ragiono de’ tuoi comandamenti, E riguardo a’ tuoi sentieri.	15 I will ponder your precepts and fix my gaze on your paths.
16 Io mi diletto ne’ tuoi statuti; Io non dimenticherò le tue parole	16 I find my delight in your wil , I do not forget your words.
17 Fa’ del bene al tuo servitore, Ed io viverò, ed osserverò la tua parola	17 Be generous to your servant and I shal live, and shal keep your words.
18 Apri gli occhi miei, ed io riguarderò Le maraviglie della tua Legge	18 Open my eyes and I shal fix my gaze on the wonders of your Law.
19 Io son forestiere in terra; Non nascondermi i tuoi comandamenti	19 Wayfarer though I am on the earth, do not hide your commandments from me.
20 L’anima mia si stritola di affezione Alle tue leggi in ogni tempo	20 My heart is pining away with longing at all times for your judgements.
21 Tu sgridi i superbi maledetti Che deviano da’ tuoi comandamenti	21 You have rebuked the arrogant, the accursed, who stray from your commandments.
22 Togli d’addosso a me il vituperio e lo sprezzo; Perciocchè io ho guardate le tue testimonianze	22 Set me free from taunts and contempt since I observe your instructions.
23 Eziandio, mentre i principi sedevano, e ragionavano contro a me, Il tuo servitore ha meditato ne’ tuoi statuti	23 Though princes sit plotting against me, your servant keeps pondering your wil .
24 Ed anche le tue testimonianze sono i miei diletti Ed i miei consiglieri	24 Your instructions are my delight, your wishes my counsellors.
25 L’anima mia è attaccata alla polvere; Vivificami secondo la tua parola	25 Down in the dust I lie prostrate; true to your word, revive me.
26 Io ti ho narrate le mie vie, e tu mi hai risposto; Insegnami i tuoi statuti.	26 I tell you my ways and you answer me; teach me your wishes.
27 Fammi intender la via de’ tuoi comandamenti, Ed io ragionerò delle tue maraviglie	27 Show me the way of your precepts, that I may reflect on your wonders.
28 L’anima mia stilla di cordoglio; Sollevami secondo le tue parole.	28 I am melting away for grief; true to your word, raise me up.
29 Rimuovi da me la via della menzogna; E fammi dono della tua Legge	29 Keep me far from the way of deceit, grant me the grace of your Law.
30 Io ho scelta la via della verità; Io mi son proposte le tue leggi.	30 I have chosen the way of constancy, I have moulded myself to your judgements.
31 Io mi son tenuto alle tue testimonianze; Signore, non lasciar che io sia confuso.	31 I cling to your instructions, Yahweh, do not disappoint me.
32 Correrò nella via de’ tuoi comandamenti, Quando tu mi avrai allargato il cuore	32 I run the way of your commandments, for you have given me freedom of heart.
33 Insegnami, Signore, la via de’ tuoi statuti; Ed io la guarderò infino al fine.	33 Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your will, and I wil observe it.
34 Dammi intelletto, ed io guarderò la tua Legge; E l’osserverò con tutto il cuore	34 Give me understanding and I will observe your Law, and keep it wholeheartedly.
35 Conducimi per lo sentiero de’ tuoi comandamenti; Perciocchè io mi diletto in esso.	35 Guide me in the way of your commandments, for my delight is there.
36 Inchina il mio cuore alle tue testimonianze, E non a cupidigia	36 Bend my heart to your instructions, not to selfish gain.
37 Storna gli occhi miei, che non riguardino a vanità; Vivificami nelle tue vie	37 Avert my eyes from pointless images, by your word give me life.
38 Attieni la tua parola al tuo servitore, Il quale è tutto intento al tuo timore	38 Keep your promise to your servant so that al may hold you in awe.
39 Rimuovi da me il mio vituperio, del quale io temo; Perciocchè le tue leggi son buone	39 Avert the taunts that I dread, for your judgements are generous.
40 Ecco, io desidero affettuosamente i tuoi comandamenti; Vivificami nella tua giustizia	40 See how I yearn for your precepts; in your saving justice give me life.
41 Ed avvenganmi le tue benignità, o Signore; E la tua salute, secondo la tua parola.	41 Let your faithful love come to me, Yahweh, true to your promise, save me!
42 Ed io risponderò a colui che mi fa vituperio; Perciocchè io mi confido nella tua parola	42 Give me an answer to the taunts against me, since I rely on your word.
43 E non ritrarmi del tutto dalla bocca la parola della verità; Perciocchè io spero nelle tue leggi.	43 Do not deprive me of that faithful word, since my hope lies in your judgements.
44 Ed io osserverò la tua Legge del continuo, In sempiterno	44 I shal keep your Law without fail for ever and ever.
45 E camminerò al largo; Perciocchè io ho ricercati i tuoi comandamenti.	45 I shal live in all freedom because I have sought your precepts.
46 E parlerò delle tue testimonianze davanti ai re, E non sarò svergognato.	46 I shal speak of your instructions before kings and wil not be shamed.
47 E mi diletterò ne’ tuoi comandamenti, I quali io amo.	47 Your commandments fill me with delight, I love them dearly.
48 Ed alzerò le palme delle mie mani a’ tuoi comandamenti, i quali io amo; E mediterò ne’ tuoi statuti	48 I stretch out my hands to your commandments that I love, and I ponder your judgements.
49 Ricordati della parola detta al tuo servitore, Sopra la quale tu mi hai fatto sperare	49 Keep in mind your promise to your servant on which I have built my hope.
50 Questa è la mia consolazione nella mia afflizione, Che la tua parola mi ha vivificato	50 It is my comfort in distress, that your promise gives me life.
51 I superbi mi hanno grandemente schernito; Ma io non mi sono stornato dalla tua Legge	51 Endlessly the arrogant have jeered at me, but I have not swerved from your Law.
52 Signore, io mi son ricordato de’ tuoi giudicii ab antico; E mi son consolato	52 I have kept your age -- old judgements in mind, Yahweh, and I am comforted.
53 Tremito mi occupa, per gli empi Che abbandonano la tua Legge	53 Fury grips me when I see the wicked who abandon your Law.
54 I tuoi statuti sono stati i miei cantici Nella dimora de’ miei pellegrinaggi	54 Your judgements are my song where I live in exile.
55 O Signore, di notte io mi son ricordato del tuo Nome, Ed ho osservata la tua Legge.	55 Al night, Yahweh, I hold your name in mind, I keep your Law.
56 Questo mi è avvenuto, Perciocchè io ho guardati i tuoi comandamenti	56 This is what it means to me, observing your precepts.
57 Il Signore è la mia parte; Io ho detto di osservare le tue parole	57 My task, I have said, Yahweh, is to keep your word.
58 Io ti ho supplicato con tutto il cuore; Abbi pietà di me, secondo la tua parola	58 Wholeheartedly I entreat your favour; true to your promise, take pity on me!
59 Io ho fatta ragione delle mie vie; Ed ho rivolti i miei piedi alle tue testimonianze.	59 I have reflected on my ways, and I turn my steps to your instructions.
60 Io mi sono affrettato, e non mi sono indugiato D’osservare i tuoi comandamenti	60 I hurry without delay to keep your commandments.
61 Schiere d’empi mi hanno predato; Ma però non ho dimenticata la tua Legge	61 Though caught in the snares of the wicked, I do not forget your Law.
62 Io mi levo a mezzanotte, per celebrarti, Per le leggi della tua giustizia	62 At midnight I rise to praise you for your upright judgements.
63 Io son compagno di tutti quelli che ti temono, Ed osservano i tuoi comandamenti	63 I am a friend to all who fear you and keep your precepts.
64 Signore, la terra è piena della tua benignità; Insegnami i tuoi statuti	64 Your faithful love fil s the earth, Yahweh, teach me your judgements.
65 Signore, tu hai usata beneficenza inverso il tuo servitore, Secondo la tua parola.	65 You have been generous to your servant, Yahweh, true to your promise.
66 Insegnami buon senno ed intendimento; Perciocchè io credo a’ tuoi comandamenti	66 Teach me judgement and knowledge, for I rely on your commandments.
67 Avanti che io fossi afflitto, io andava errando; Ma ora osservo la tua parola	67 Before I was punished I used to go astray, but now I keep to your promise.
68 Tu sei buono e benefattore; Insegnami i tuoi statuti	68 You are generous and act generously, teach me your wil .
69 I superbi hanno acconciate delle bugie contro a me; Ma io con tutto il cuore guarderò i tuoi comandamenti.	69 The arrogant blacken me with lies though I wholeheartedly observe your precepts.
70 Il cuor loro è condenso come grasso; Ma io mi diletto nella tua Legge	70 Their hearts are gross like rich fat, but my delight is in your Law.
71 Egli è stato buono per me, che io sono stato afflitto; Acciocchè io impari i tuoi statuti	71 It was good for me that I had to suffer, the better to learn your judgements.
72 La Legge della tua bocca mi è migliore Che le migliaia d’oro e d’argento	72 The Law you have uttered is more precious to me than al the wealth in the world.
73 Le tue mani mi hanno fatto e formato; Dammi intelletto, ed io imparerò i tuoi comandamenti	73 Your hands have made me and held me firm, give me understanding and I shal learn yourcommandments.
74 Quelli che ti temono mi vedranno, e si rallegreranno; Perciocchè io ho sperato nella tua parola	74 Those who fear you rejoice at the sight of me since I put my hope in your word.
75 O Signore, io so che i tuoi giudicii non sono altro che giustizia; E che ciò che mi hai afflitto è stato fedeltà	75 I know, Yahweh, that your judgements are upright, and in punishing me you show your constancy.
76 Deh! sia la tua benignità per consolarmi, Secondo la tua parola, detta al tuo servitore.	76 Your faithful love must be my consolation, as you have promised your servant.
77 Avvenganmi le tue misericordie, acciocchè io viva; Perciocchè la tua Legge è ogni mio diletto	77 Treat me with tenderness and I shall live, for your Law is my delight.
78 Sien confusi i superbi, perciocchè a torto mi sovvertono; Ma io medito ne’ tuoi comandamenti.	78 Let the arrogant who tell lies against me be shamed, while I ponder your precepts.
79 Rivolgansi a me quelli che ti temono. E quelli che conoscono le tue testimonianze	79 Let those who fear you rally to me, those who understand your instructions.
80 Sia il mio cuore intiero ne’ tuoi statuti; Acciocchè io non sia confuso	80 My heart shall be faultless towards your wil ; then I shall not be ashamed.
81 L’anima mia vien meno dietro alla tua salute; Io spero nella tua parola.	81 I shal wear myself out for your salvation, for your word is my hope.
82 Gli occhi miei vengono meno dietro alla tua parola, Dicendo: Quando mi consolerai tu?	82 My eyes, too, are worn out waiting for your promise, when wil you have pity on me?
83 Perciocchè io son divenuto come un otro al fumo; E pur non ho dimenticati i tuoi statuti	83 For I am like a smoked wineskin, but I do not forget your wil .
84 Quanti hanno da essere i giorni del tuo servitore? Quando farai giudicio sopra quelli che mi perseguitano?	84 How long has your servant to live? When wil you bring my persecutors to judgement?
85 I superbi mi hanno cavate delle fosse; Il che non è secondo la tua Legge.	85 The arrogant have dug pitfalls for me in defiance of your Law.
86 Tutti i tuoi comandamenti son verità; Essi mi perseguitano a torto; soccorrimi.	86 Al your commandments show constancy. Help me when they pursue me dishonestly.
87 Mi hanno pressochè distrutto ed atterrato; Ma io non ho abbandonati i tuoi comandamenti	87 They have almost annihilated me on earth, but I have not deserted your precepts.
88 Vivificami secondo la tua benignità, Ed io osserverò la testimonianza della tua bocca	88 True to your faithful love, give me life, and I shal keep the instructions you have laid down.
89 O Signore, la tua parola è in eterno; Ella è stabile ne’ cieli.	89 For ever, Yahweh, your word is planted firm in heaven.
90 La tua verità è per ogni età; Tu hai stabilita la terra, ed ella sta ferma.	90 Your constancy endures from age to age; you established the earth and it stands firm.
91 Il cielo e la terra stanno anche oggi fermi, per li tuoi ordini, Perciocchè ogni cosa è al tuo servigio	91 Through your judgements al stands firm to this day, for al creation is your servant.
92 Se la tua Legge non fosse stata ogni mio diletto, Io già sarei perito nella mia afflizione	92 Had your Law not been my delight, I would have perished in my misery.
93 Giammai non dimenticherò i tuoi comandamenti; Perciocchè per essi tu mi hai vivificato	93 I shal never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
94 Io son tuo, salvami; Perciocchè io ho ricercati i tuoi comandamenti	94 I am yours, save me, for I seek your precepts.
95 Gli empi mi hanno atteso, per farmi perire; Ma io ho considerate le tue testimonianze	95 The wicked may hope to destroy me, but al my thought is of your instructions.
96 Io ho veduto che tutte le cose le più perfette hanno fine; Ma il tuo comandamento è d’una grandissima distesa	96 I have seen that al perfection is finite, but your commandment has no limit.
97 Oh! quanto amo la tua Legge! Ella è la mia meditazione di tutti i giorni	97 How I love your Law! I ponder it al day long.
98 Per li tuoi comandamenti tu mi rendi più savio che i miei nemici; Perciocchè quelli in perpetuo sono miei.	98 You make me wiser than my enemies by your commandment which is mine for ever.
99 Io son più intendente che tutti i miei dottori; Perciocchè le tue testimonianze son la mia meditazione.	99 I am wiser than al my teachers because I ponder your instructions.
100 Io son più avveduto che i vecchi; Perciocchè io ho guardati i tuoi comandamenti	100 I have more understanding than the aged because I keep your precepts.
101 Io ho rattenuti i miei piedi da ogni sentiero malvagio; Acciocchè io osservi la tua parola	101 I restrain my foot from evil paths to keep your word.
102 Io non mi sono stornato dalle tue leggi; Perciocchè tu mi hai ammaestrato	102 I do not turn aside from your judgements, because you yourself have instructed me.
103 Oh! quanto son dolci le tue parole al mio palato! Son più dolci che miele alla mia bocca.	103 How pleasant your promise to my palate, sweeter than honey in my mouth!
104 Io son divenuto avveduto per li tuoi comandamenti; Perciò, odio ogni sentiero di falsità	104 From your precepts I learn wisdom, so I hate all deceptive ways.
105 La tua parola è una lampana al mio piè, Ed un lume al mio sentiero	105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
106 Io ho giurato, e l’atterrò, Di osservare le leggi della tua giustizia	106 I have sworn -- and shal maintain it -- to keep your upright judgements.
107 Io son sommamente afflitto; O Signore, vivificami secondo la tua parola	107 I am utterly wretched, Yahweh; true to your promise, give me life.
108 Deh! Signore, gradisci le offerte volontarie della mia bocca, Ed insegnami le tue leggi	108 Accept, Yahweh, the tribute from my mouth, and teach me your judgements.
109 Io ho l’anima mia del continuo in palma di mano; E pur non ho dimenticata la tua Legge.	109 My life is in your hands perpetual y, I do not forget your Law.
110 Gli empi mi hanno tesi de’ lacci; E pur non mi sono sviato da’ tuoi comandamenti	110 The wicked have laid out a snare for me, but I have not strayed from your precepts.
111 Le tue testimonianze son la mia eredità in perpetuo; Perciocchè esse son la letizia del mio cuore.	111 Your instructions are my eternal heritage, they are the joy of my heart.
112 Io ho inchinato il mio cuore a mettere in opera i tuoi statuti, In perpetuo, infino al fine	112 I devote myself to obeying your statutes, their recompense is eternal.
113 Io odio i discorsi; Ma amo la tua Legge	113 I hate a divided heart, I love your Law.
114 Tu sei il mio nascondimento, ed il mio scudo; Io spero nella tua parola	114 You are my refuge and shield, I put my hope in your word.
115 Ritraetevi da me, maligni; Ed io guarderò i comandamenti del mio Dio	115 Leave me alone, you wicked, I shal observe the commandments of my God.
116 Sostienmi, secondo la tua parola, ed io viverò; E non rendermi confuso della mia speranza.	116 True to your word, support me and I shal live; do not disappoint me of my hope.
117 Confortami, ed io sarò salvato; E riguarderò del continuo a’ tuoi statuti	117 Uphold me and I shall be saved, my gaze fixed on your wil .
118 Tu calpesti tutti quelli che si sviano da’ tuoi statuti; Perciocchè la lor frode è una cosa falsa.	118 You shake off al who stray from your wil ; deceit fills their horizon.
119 Tu riduci al niente tutti gli empi della terra, come schiume; Perciò io amo le tue testimonianze.	119 In your sight al the wicked of the earth are like rust, so I love your instructions.
120 La mia carne si raccapriccia tutta per lo spavento di te; Ed io temo de’ tuoi giudicii	120 My whole body trembles before you, your judgements fill me with fear.
121 Io ho fatto ciò che è diritto e giusto; Non abbandonarmi a quelli che mi oppressano.	121 Al my conduct has been just and upright, do not hand me over to my oppressors.
122 Da’ sicurtà per lo tuo servitore in bene, E non lasciar che i superbi mi oppressino	122 Guarantee the wel -being of your servant, do not let the proud oppress me.
123 Gli occhi miei vengono meno dietro alla tua salute, Ed alla parola della tua giustizia	123 My eyes are languishing for your salvation and for the saving justice you have promised.
124 Opera inverso il tuo servitore secondo la tua benignità, Ed insegnami i tuoi statuti.	124 Show your faithful love to your servant, teach me your judgements.
125 Io son tuo servitore; dammi intelletto; Acciocchè io possa conoscere le tue testimonianze	125 Your servant am I; give me understanding and I shal know your instructions.
126 Egli è tempo che il Signore operi; Essi hanno annullata la tua Legge	126 It is time to take action, Yahweh, your Law is being broken.
127 Perciò io amo i tuoi comandamenti più che oro; Anzi più che oro finissimo.	127 So I love your commandments more than gold, purest gold.
128 Perciò approvo, come diritti, tutti i tuoi comandamenti intorno ad ogni cosa; Ed odio ogni sentiero di menzogna	128 So I rule my life by your precepts, I hate al deceptive paths.
129 Le tue testimonianze son cose maravigliose; Perciò l’anima mia le ha guardate	129 Wonderful are your instructions, so I observe them.
130 La dichiarazione delle tue parole allumina, E dà intelletto a’ semplici	130 As your word unfolds it gives light, and even the simple understand.
131 Io ho aperta la bocca, ed ho ansato; Perciocchè io ho bramati i tuoi comandamenti	131 I open wide my mouth, panting eagerly for your commandments.
132 Riguarda a me, ed abbi pietà di me, Secondo ch’è ragionevole di fare inverso quelli che amano il tuo Nome	132 Turn to me, pity me; those who love your name deserve it.
133 Ferma i miei passi nella tua parola; E non lasciare che alcuna iniquità signoreggi sopra me	133 Keep my steps firm in your promise; that no evil may triumph over me.
134 Riscuotimi dall’oppressione degli uomini; Ed io osserverò i tuoi comandamenti	134 Rescue me from human oppression, and I wil observe your precepts.
135 Fa’ rilucere il tuo volto sopra il tuo servitore;	135 Let your face shine on your servant, teach me your wil .
136 Ed insegnami i tuoi statuti. Ruscelli d’acque mi scendono giù dagli occhi; Perciocchè la tua Legge non è osservata	136 My eyes stream with tears because your Law is disregarded.
137 O Signore, tu sei giusto, E i tuoi giudicii son diritti.	137 You are upright, Yahweh, and your judgements are honest.
138 Tu hai strettamente comandata la giustizia, E la verità delle tue testimonianze	138 You impose uprightness as a witness to yourself, it is constancy itself.
139 Il mio zelo mi consuma; Perciocchè i miei nemici hanno dimenticate le tue parole	139 My zeal is burning me up because my oppressors forget your word.
140 La tua parola è sommamente purgata; E però il tuo servitore l’ama	140 Your promise is wel tested, your servant holds it dear.
141 Io son piccolo e sprezzato; Ma però non ho dimenticati i tuoi comandamenti	141 Puny and despised as I am, I do not forget your precepts.
142 La tua giustizia è una giustizia eterna, E la tua Legge è verità	142 Your saving justice is for ever just, and your Law is trustworthy.
143 Tribolazione e distretta mi hanno colto; Ma i tuoi comandamenti sono i miei diletti.	143 Though anguish and distress grip me your commandments are my delight.
144 Le tue testimonianze sono una giustizia eterna; Dammi intelletto, ed io viverò	144 Your instructions are upright for ever, give me understanding and I shal live.
145 Io ho gridato con tutto il cuore; rispondimi, Signore; Ed io guarderò i tuoi statuti.	145 I cal with al my heart; answer me, Yahweh, and I wil observe your judgements.
146 Io ti ho invocato; salvami, Ed io osserverò le tue testimonianze	146 I cal to you; save me, and I wil keep your instructions.
147 Io mi son fatto avanti all’alba, ed ho gridato; Io ho sperato nella tua parola.	147 I am awake before dawn to cry for help, I put my hope in your word.
148 Gli occhi miei prevengono le vigilie della notte. Per meditar nella tua parola	148 My eyes are awake before each watch of the night, to ponder your promise.
149 Ascolta la mia voce, secondo la tua benignità; O Signore, vivificami, secondo che tu hai ordinato	149 In your faithful love, Yahweh, listen to my voice, let your judgements give me life.
150 Quelli che vanno dietro a scelleratezza, E si sono allontanati dalla tua Legge, si sono accostati a me.	150 My pursuers are coming closer to their wicked designs, and further from your Law.
151 O Signore, tu sei vicino; E tutti i tuoi comandamenti son verità	151 You are close to me, Yahweh, and all your commandments are true.
152 Gran tempo è che io so questo delle tue testimonianze, Che tu le hai stabilite in eterno	152 Long have I known that your instructions were laid down to last for ever.
153 Riguarda alla mia afflizione, e trammene fuori; Perciocchè io non ho dimenticata la tua Legge.	153 Look at my suffering and rescue me, for I do not forget your Law.
154 Dibatti la mia lite, e riscuotimi; Vivificami, secondo la tua parola	154 Plead my cause and defend me; as you promised, give me life.
155 La salute è lungi dagli empi; Perciocchè non ricercano i tuoi statuti	155 Salvation is far from the wicked, for they do not seek your will.
156 Le tue misericordie son grandi, Signore; Vivificami secondo ciò che hai ordinato	156 Your kindnesses to me are countless, Yahweh; true to your judgements, give me life.

161 I principi m’hanno perseguitato senza cagione; Ma il mio cuore ha spavento della tua parola	161 Though princes hound me unprovoked, what fil s me with awe is your word.
162 Io mi rallegro per la tua parola, Come una persona che avesse trovate grandi spoglie	162 I rejoice in your promise like one who finds a vast treasure.
163 Io odio ed abbomino la menzogna; Ma io amo la tua Legge	163 Falsehood I hate and detest, my love is for your Law.
164 Io ti lodo sette volte il dì, Per li giudicii della tua giustizia	164 Seven times a day I praise you for your upright judgements.
165 Quelli che amano la tua Legge godono di molta pace; E non vi è alcuno intoppo per loro	165 Great peace for those who love your Law; no stumbling-blocks for them!
166 Signore, io ho sperato nella tua salute; Ed ho messi in opera i tuoi comandamenti	166 I am waiting for your salvation, Yahweh, I fulfil your commandments.
167 L’anima mia ha osservate le tue testimonianze; Ed io le ho grandemente amate.	167 I observe your instructions, I love them dearly.
168 Io ho osservati i tuoi comandamenti, e le tue testimonianze; Perciocchè tutte le mie vie sono nel tuo cospetto	168 I observe your precepts, your judgements, for al my ways are before you.
169 Pervenga il mio grido al tuo cospetto, o Signore; Dammi intelletto, secondo la tua parola.	169 May my cry approach your presence, Yahweh; by your word give me understanding.
170 Venga la mia supplicazione in tua presenza; Riscuotimi, secondo la tua parola	170 May my prayer come into your presence, rescue me as you have promised.
171 Le mie labbra sgorgheranno lode, Quando tu mi avrai insegnati i tuoi statuti	171 May my lips proclaim your praise, for you teach me your will.
172 La mia lingua ragionerà della tua parola; Perciocchè tutti i tuoi comandamenti son giustizia	172 May my tongue recite your promise, for al your commandments are upright.
173 Siami in aiuto la tua mano; Perciocchè io ho eletti i tuoi comandamenti.	173 May your hand be there to help me, since I have chosen your precepts.
174 Signore, io ho desiderata la tua salute; E la tua Legge è ogni mio diletto	174 I long for your salvation, Yahweh, your Law is my delight.
175 Viva l’anima mia, ed ella ti loderà; E soccorranmi i tuoi ordinamenti	175 May I live only to praise you, may your judgements be my help.
