20 Then Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,	20 Jectan autem genuit Elmodad, et Saleph, et Asarmoth, et Jare,
21 as well as Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,	21 Adoram quoque, et Huzal, et Decla,
22 and then Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, indeed	22 Hebal etiam, et Abimaël, et Saba, necnon

42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.	42 Filii Eser : Balaan, et Zavan, et Jacan. Filii Disan : Hus et Aran.
43 Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there was a king over the sons of Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.	43 Isti sunt reges qui imperaverunt in terra Edom, antequam esset rex super filios Israël. 44 Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah, from Bozrah, reigned in his place.	44 Mortuus est autem Bale, et regnavit pro eo Jobab filius Zare de Bosra.
45 And when Jobab also had died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, reigned in his place.	45 Cumque et Jobab fuisset mortuus, regnavit pro eo Husam de terra Themanorum.
46 Then Husham also passed away, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, reigned in his place. And he struck the Midianites in the land of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.	46 Obiit quoque et Husam, et regnavit pro eo Adad filius Badad, qui percussit Madian in terra Moab : et nomen civitatis ejus Avith.
47 And when Hadad also had died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.	47 Cumque et Adad fuisset mortuus, regnavit pro eo Semla de Masreca.
48 Then Samlah also died, and Shaul from Rehoboth, which is situated beside a river, reigned in his place.	48 Sed et Semla mortuus est, et regnavit pro eo Saul de Rohoboth, quæ juxta amnem sita est.
49 Shaul also having died, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place.	49 Mortuo quoque Saul, regnavit pro eo Balanan filius Achobor.
50 Then he too died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.	50 Sed et hic mortuus est, et regnavit pro eo Adad : cujus urbis nomen fuit Phau, et appellata est uxor ejus Meetabel filia Matred filiæ Mezaab.
51 And Hadar having died, there began to be commanders in Edom in place of kings: commander Thamna, commander Alvah, commander Jetheth,	51 Adad autem mortuo, duces pro regibus in Edom esse cœperunt : dux Thamna, dux Alva, dux Jetheth,
52 commander Oholibamah, commander Elah, commander Pinon,	52 dux Oolibama, dux Ela, dux Phinon,
53 commander Kanez, commander Teman, commander Mibzar,	53 dux Cenez, dux Theman, dux Mabsar,
54 commander Magdiel, commander Iram. These are the commanders of Edom.	54 dux Magdiel, dux Hiram : hi duces Edom.
