4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.	4 נח שם חם ויפת
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, Tubal, Meshech, Tiras.	5 בני יפת גמר ומגוג ומדי ויון ותבל ומשך ותירס
6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.	6 ובני גמר אשכנז ודיפת ותוגרמה
7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.	7 ובני יון אלישה ותרשישה כתים ורודנים
8 The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, and Put, and Canaan.	8 בני חם כוש ומצרים פוט וכנען
9 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dadan.	9 ובני כוש סבא וחוילה וסבתא ורעמא וסבתכא ובני רעמא שבא ודדן
10 Then Cush conceived Nimrod, and he began to be powerful upon the earth.	10 וכוש ילד את נמרוד הוא החל להיות גבור בארץ
11 Truly, Mizraim conceived Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,	11 ומצרים ילד את לודיים ואת ענמים ואת להבים ואת נפתחים
12 as well as Pathrusim and Casluhim: from these the Philistines and the Caphtorim went forth.	12 ואת פתרסים ואת כסלחים אשר יצאו משם פלשתים ואת כפתרים

17 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.	17 בני שם עילם ואשור וארפכשד ולוד וארם ועוץ וחול וגתר ומשך
18 Then Arphaxad conceived Shelah, who also himself conceived Eber.	18 וארפכשד ילד את שלח ושלח ילד את עבר
19 And to Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided. And the name of his brother was Joktan.	19 ולעבר ילד שני בנים שם האחד פלג כי בימיו נפלגה הארץ ושם אחיו יקטן
20 Then Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,	20 ויקטן ילד את אלמודד ואת שלף ואת חצרמות ואת ירח
21 as well as Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,	21 ואת הדורם ואת אוזל ואת דקלה
22 and then Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, indeed	22 ואת עיבל ואת אבימאל ואת שבא
23 also Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these are the sons of Joktan.	23 ואת אופיר ואת חוילה ואת יובב כל אלה בני יקטן
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,	24 שם ארפכשד שלח
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,	25 עבר פלג רעו
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,	26 שרוג נחור תרח
27 Abram, the same is Abraham.	27 אברם הוא אברהם
28 And the sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.	28 בני אברהם יצחק וישמעאל
29 And these are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,	29 אלה תלדותם בכור ישמעאל נביות וקדר ואדבאל ומבשם
30 and Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,	30 משמע ודומה משא חדד ותימא
31 Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.	31 יטור נפיש וקדמה אלה הם בני ישמעאל
32 And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, whom she conceived: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan: Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.	32 ובני קטורה פילגש אברהם ילדה את זמרן ויקשן ומדן ומדין וישבק ושוח ובני יקשן שבא ודדן
33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.	33 ובני מדין עיפה ועפר וחנוך ואבידע ואלדעה כל אלה בני קטורה
34 Now Abraham conceived Isaac, whose sons were Esau and Israel.	34 ויולד אברהם את יצחק בני יצחק עשו וישראל
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.	35 בני עשו אליפז רעואל ויעוש ויעלם וקרח
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenez, and by Timna, Amalek.	36 בני אליפז תימן ואומר צפי וגעתם קנז ותמנע ועמלק
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.	37 בני רעואל נחת זרח שמה ומזה
38 The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.	38 ובני שעיר לוטן ושובל וצבעון וענה ודישן ואצר ודישן
39 The sons of Lotan: Hori, Heman. Now the sister of Lotan was Timna.	39 ובני לוטן חרי והומם ואחות לוטן תמנע
40 The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. The sons of Anah: Dishon.	40 בני שובל עלין ומנחת ועיבל שפי ואונם ובני צבעון איה וענה
41 The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Esheban, and Ithran, and Cheran.	41 בני ענה דישון ובני דישון חמרן ואשבן ויתרן וכרן
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.	42 בני אצר בלהן וזעון יעקן בני דישון עוץ וארן
43 Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there was a king over the sons of Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.	43 ואלה המלכים אשר מלכו בארץ אדום לפני מלך מלך לבני ישראל בלע בן בעור ושם עירו דנהבה
44 Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah, from Bozrah, reigned in his place.	44 וימת בלע וימלך תחתיו יובב בן זרח מבצרה
45 And when Jobab also had died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, reigned in his place.	45 וימת יובב וימלך תחתיו חושם מארץ התימני
46 Then Husham also passed away, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, reigned in his place. And he struck the Midianites in the land of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.	46 וימת חושם וימלך תחתיו הדד בן בדד המכה את מדין בשדה מואב ושם עירו עיות
47 And when Hadad also had died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.	47 וימת הדד וימלך תחתיו שמלה ממשרקה
48 Then Samlah also died, and Shaul from Rehoboth, which is situated beside a river, reigned in his place.	48 וימת שמלה וימלך תחתיו שאול מרחבות הנהר
49 Shaul also having died, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place.	49 וימת שאול וימלך תחתיו בעל חנן בן עכבור
50 Then he too died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.	50 וימת בעל חנן וימלך תחתיו הדד ושם עירו פעי ושם אשתו מהיטבאל בת מטרד בת מי זהב
51 And Hadar having died, there began to be commanders in Edom in place of kings: commander Thamna, commander Alvah, commander Jetheth,	51 וימת הדד ויהיו אלופי אדום אלוף תמנע אלוף עליה אלוף יתת
52 commander Oholibamah, commander Elah, commander Pinon,	52 אלוף אהליבמה אלוף אלה אלוף פינן
53 commander Kanez, commander Teman, commander Mibzar,	53 אלוף קנז אלוף תימן אלוף מבצר
54 commander Magdiel, commander Iram. These are the commanders of Edom.	54 אלוף מגדיאל אלוף עירם אלה אלופי אדום
