1 Siggaion di Davide, il quale egli canto’ al Signore, sopra le parole di Cus Beniaminita SIGNORE Iddio mio, io mi confido in te; Salvami da tutti quelli che mi perseguitano, e riscuotimi;	1 A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush, the son of Jemini.
2 Che talora il mio nemico non rapisca l’anima mia come un leone; E non la laceri, senza che vi sia alcuno che mi riscuota.	2 O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me:

5 Perseguiti pure il nemico l’anima mia, e l’aggiunga, E calpesti la vita mia, mettendola per terra; E stanzi la mia gloria nella polvere. Sela.	5 if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me, may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies:
6 Levati, Signore, nell’ira tua; Innalzati contro a’ furori de’ miei nemici, E destati in mio favore; tu hai ordinato il giudicio.	6 let the enemy pursue my soul, and take hold of it, and trample my life into the earth, and drag down my glory into the dust.
7 E circonditi la raunanza de’ popoli; E torna poi in luogo elevato di sopra ad essa.	7 Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
8 Il Signore giudicherà i popoli; Signore, giudicami; Giudica di me secondo la mia giustizia, e la mia integrità.	8 and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
9 Deh! venga meno la malvagità de’ malvagi, E stabilisci l’uomo giusto; Conciossiachè tu sii l’Iddio giusto, che provi i cuori e le reni	9 The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.

17 Io loderò il Signore, secondo la sua giustizia; E salmeggerò il Nome del Signore Altissimo	17 His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
	18 I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.
