1 Louvores. De Davide. Eu te exaltarei, meu Deus, meu rei, bendirei o teu nome pelos séculos dos séculos,	1 Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight:
2 cada dia te bendirei, louvarei o teu nome pelos séculos dos séculos.	2 My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and he in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 Grande é o Senhor, muito digno de louvor, e a sua grandeza é insondável.	3 LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
4 Uma geração apregoa a outra as tuas obras, e (todas) anunciam o teu poder.	4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
5 Falam da esplêndida glória da tua majestade, divulgam as tuas maravilhas.	5 Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 Falam do poder das tuas obras terríveis e contam a tua grandeza.	6 Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
7 Proclamam o louvor da tua grande bondade e exultam com a tua justiça.	7 Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 Clemente e misericordioso é o Senhor, tardo para a ira e de muita benignidade.	8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
9 Bom é o Senhor para com todos, e compassivo com todas as suas obras.	9 I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery and an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
10 Dêem-te glória, Senhor, todas as tuas obras, e os teus santos te bendigam.	10 It is he that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11 Publiquem a glória do teu reino e falem do teu poder,	11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
12 para darem a conhecer aos filhos dos homens o teu poder, e a glória do teu reino esplendoroso.	12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:
13 O teu reino é um reino que se estende a todos os séculos, e o teu império subsiste por todas as gerações. O Senhor é fiel em todas as suas palavras, santo em todas as suas obras.	13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
14 O Senhor sustém todos os que caem, levanta todos os prostrados.	14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.
15 Os olhos de todos esperam em ti, Senhor, e tu lhes dás o sustento em tempo oportuno.	15 Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD.
16 Tu abres a tua mão, e sacias com benevolência todos os viventes.
17 Justo é o Senhor em todos os seus caminhos, santo em todas as suas obras.
18 O Senhor está perto de todos os que o invocam, de todos os que o invocam com sinceridade.
19 Ele fará a vontade dos que o temem, ouvirá o seu clamor e os salvará.
20 O Senhor guarda todos os que o amam, e exterminará todos os ímpios.
21 Cante a minha boca o louvor do Senhor, e toda a carne bendiga o seu santo nome, pelos séculos dos séculos.
