Prima lettera ai Tessalonicesi (1 تسالونيكي) 5

1 واما الازمنة والاوقات فلا حاجة لكم ايها الاخوة ان اكتب اليكم عنها.	1 About times and dates, brothers, there is no need to write to you
2 لانكم انتم تعلمون بالتحقيق ان يوم الرب كلص في الليل هكذا يجيء.	2 for you are wel aware in any case that the Day of the Lord is going to come like a thief in the night.
3 لانه حينما يقولون سلام وامان حينئذ يفاجئهم هلاك بغتة كالمخاض للحبلى فلا ينجون.	3 It is when people are saying, 'How quiet and peaceful it is' that sudden destruction fal s on them, assuddenly as labour pains come on a pregnant woman; and there is no escape.
4 واما انتم ايها الاخوة فلستم في ظلمة حتى يدرككم ذلك اليوم كلص.	4 But you, brothers, do not live in the dark, that the Day should take you unawares like a thief.
5 جميعكم ابناء نور. وابناء نهار. لسنا من ليل ولا ظلمة.	5 No, you are al children of light and children of the day: we do not belong to the night or to darkness,
6 فلا ننم اذا كالباقين بل لنسهر ونصح.	6 so we should not go on sleeping, as everyone else does, but stay wide awake and sober.
7 لان الذين ينامون فبالليل ينامون والذين يسكرون فبالليل يسكرون.	7 Night is the time for sleepers to sleep and night the time for drunkards to be drunk,
8 واما نحن الذين من نهار فلنصح لابسين درع الايمان والمحبة وخوذة هي رجاء الخلاص.	8 but we belong to the day and we should be sober; let us put on faith and love for a breastplate, and thehope of salvation for a helmet.
9 لان الله لم يجعلنا للغضب بل لاقتناء الخلاص بربنا يسوع المسيح	9 God destined us not for his retribution, but to win salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 الذي مات لاجلنا حتى اذا سهرنا او نمنا نحيا جميعا معه.	10 who died for us so that, awake or asleep, we should stil live united to him.
11 لذلك عزوا بعضكم بعضا وابنوا احدكم الآخر كما تفعلون ايضا	11 So give encouragement to each other, and keep strengthening one another, as you do already.
12 ثم نسألكم ايها الاخوة ان تعرفوا الذين يتعبون بينكم ويدبرونكم في الرب وينذرونكم	12 We appeal to you, my brothers, to be considerate to those who work so hard among you as yourleaders in the Lord and those who admonish you.
13 وان تعتبروهم كثيرا جدا في المحبة من اجل عملهم. سالموا بعضكم بعضا.	13 Have the greatest respect and affection for them because of their work. Be at peace amongyourselves.
14 ونطلب اليكم ايها الاخوة انذروا الذين بلا ترتيب. شجعوا صغار النفوس. اسندوا الضعفاء. تأنوا على الجميع.	14 We urge you, brothers, to admonish those who are undisciplined, encourage the apprehensive,support the weak and be patient with everyone.
15 انظروا ان لا يجازي احد احدا عن شر بشر بل كل حين اتبعوا الخير بعضكم لبعض وللجميع.	15 Make sure that people do not try to repay evil for evil; always aim at what is best for each other and foreveryone.
16 افرحوا كل حين.	16 Always be joyful;
17 صلّوا بلا انقطاع.	17 pray constantly;
18 اشكروا في كل شيء. لان هذه هي مشيئة الله في المسيح يسوع من جهتكم.	18 and for al things give thanks; this is the wil of God for you in Christ Jesus.
19 لا تطفئوا الروح.	19 Do not stifle the Spirit
20 لا تحتقروا النبوات.	20 or despise the gift of prophecy with contempt;
21 امتحنوا كل شيء. تمسكوا بالحسن.	21 test everything and hold on to what is good
22 امتنعوا عن كل شبه شر.	22 and shun every form of evil.
23 واله السلام نفسه يقدسكم بالتمام ولتحفظ روحكم ونفسكم وجسدكم كاملة بلا لوم عند مجيء ربنا يسوع المسيح.	23 May the God of peace make you perfect and holy; and may your spirit, life and body be keptblameless for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
24 امين هو الذي يدعوكم الذي سيفعل ايضا	24 He who has cal ed you is trustworthy and wil carry it out.
25 ايها الاخوة صلّوا لاجلنا.	25 Pray for us, my brothers.
26 سلموا على الاخوة جميعا بقبلة مقدسة.	26 Greet al the brothers with a holy kiss.
27 اناشدكم بالرب ان تقرأ هذه الرسالة على جميع الاخوة القديسين.	27 My orders, in the Lord's name, are that this letter is to be read to al the brothers.
28 نعمة ربنا يسوع المسيح معكم. آمين	28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.2Th 1:1 Paul, Silvanus and Timothy, to the Church in Thessalonica which is in God our Father and the LordJesus Christ
