1 These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,	1 Eis as etapas que fizeram os israelitas desde a sua partida do Egito em tropas organizadas sob as ordens de Moisés e Aarão.
2 which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.	2 Moisés, por ordem do Senhor, tomou nota de suas marchas por etapas. São as seguintes essas marchas em etapas:
3 Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.	3 No décimo quinto dia do primeiro mês partiram de Ramsés. Isso foi no dia seguinte à Páscoa; partiram com a mão levantada, à vista de todos os egípcios
4 And these were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down (for so, too, did he carry out retribution against their gods).	4 que estavam enterrando aqueles que o Senhor tinha ferido dentre eles, todos os seus primogênitos. Também contra os seus deuses o Senhor tinha exercido o seu juízo.
5 And they made camp at Soccoth.	5 Partidos de Ramsés, os israelitas se detiveram em Socot,
6 And from Soccoth they went to Etham, which is at the furthest limits of the wilderness.	6 de onde partiram, indo acampar em Etão, situado na extremidade do deserto.
7 Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.	7 Dali, voltaram a Fi-Hairot, defronte de Beelsefon, e acamparam diante de Magdalum.
8 And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. And having walked for three days through the desert of Etham, they made camp at Marah.	8 Deixando Fi-Hairot, passaram pelo meio do mar para o deserto. Após três dias de marcha na solidão de Etão, detiveram-se em Mara.
9 And setting out from Marah, they arrived at Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees. And they set up camp there.	9 Partindo de Mara, ganharam Elim, onde havia doze fontes e setenta palmeiras; e acamparam ali.
10 But departing from there also, they fixed their tents above the Red Sea. And setting out from the Red Sea,	10 Saindo de Elim, foram acampar junto do mar Vermelho,
11 they were encamped in the desert of Sin.	11 de onde partiram e acamparam no deserto de Sin.
12 Departing from there, they went to Dophkah.	12 Tendo partido do deserto de Sin, acamparam em Dafca,
13 And setting out from Dophkah, they made camp at Alush.	13 de onde foram para Alus.
14 And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.	14 Dali, partiram e acamparam em Rafidim, onde o povo não encontrou água para beber.
15 And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.	15 Partidos de Rafidim, acamparam no deserto do Sinai.
16 But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.	16 Saindo do deserto do Sinai, foram acampar em Kibrot-Hataava,
17 And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.	17 de onde foram acampar em Haserot.
18 And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.	18 De lá, acamparam em Retma.
19 And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.	19 De Retma foram a Remonfarés.
20 And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.	20 De Remonfarés a Lebna.
21 From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.	21 De Lebna a Ressa.
22 And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.	22 De Ressa a Ceelata.
23 Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.	23 Deixaram Ceelata e acamparam no monte Sefer.
24 Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.	24 Dali foram acampar em Arada.
25 Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.	25 De lá a Macelot.
26 And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.	26 Dali a Taat.
27 From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.	27 De Taat a Taré.
28 Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.	28 De Taré a Metca.
29 And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.	29 De Metca a Hesmona.
30 And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.	30 De Hesmona foram acampar em Moserot.
31 And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.	31 De Moserot a Benê-Jacã.
32 And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.	32 Dali a Hor-Guidgad.
33 Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.	33 Dali a Jotebata.
34 And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.	34 Dali a Abrona.
35 And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.	35 De lá a Asiongaber.
36 Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.	36 foram acampar no deserto de Sin, isto é, em Cades.
37 And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.	37 Deixando Cades, acamparam no monte Hor, na extremidade da terra de Edom.
38 And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,	38 O sacerdote Aarão subiu por ordem do Senhor ao monte Hor, e ali morreu, no quadragésimo ano do êxodo dos israelitas do Egito, no primeiro dia do quinto mês.
39 when he was one hundred twenty-three years old.	39 Aarão tinha cento e vinte e três anos quando expirou no monte Hor.
40 And king Arad the Canaanite, who lived toward the south, heard that the sons of Israel had arrived in the land of Canaan.	40 Foi então que o rei cananeu de Arad, que habitava no Negeb, na terra de Canaã, soube da chegada dos israelitas.
41 And setting out from mount Hor, they made camp at Zalmonah.	41 a Deixando o monte Hor, acamparam em Salmona.
42 Departing from there, they went to Punon.	42 De Salmona foram acampar em Funon.
43 And setting out from Punon, they were encamped at Oboth.	43 De Funon foram a Obot.
44 And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.	44 De Obot, detiveram-se em Ijé-Abarim, na fronteira de Moab.
45 And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.	45 Dali foram acampar em Dibon-Gad.
46 Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.	46 Dali a Almon-Diblataim.
47 And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.	47 Dali aos montes Abarim, em frente ao Nebo.
48 And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.	48 Partiram dos montes Abarim e foram acampar nas planícies de Moab, junto do Jordão, defronte de Jericó.
49 And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,	49 Seu acampamento nas planícies de Moab, perto do Jordão, ia desde Betsimot até Abel-Setim.
50 where the Lord said to Moses:	50 O Senhor disse a Moisés, nas planícies de Moab, junto do Jordão, defronte de Jericó:
51 “Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,	51 "Dize aos israelitas: quando tiverdes passado o Jordão e entrado na terra de Canaã,
52 destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,	52 expulsareis de diante de vós todos os habitantes da terra, destruireis todas as suas pedras esculpidas, todas as suas estátuas fundidas e devastareis todos os seus lugares altos.
53 cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,	53 Tomareis posse da terra e habitá-la-eis, porque eu vo-la dou.
54 which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.	54 Reparti-la-eis entre vossas famílias por sorte: aos que forem mais numerosos, uma porção maior, e uma menor, aos que forem menos. Cada um possuirá o que lhe couber por sorte. Fareis essa repartição segundo vossas tribos patriarcais.
55 But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.	55 Se vós, porém, não expulsardes de diante de vós os habitantes da terra, os que ficarem serão para vós como espinhos nos olhos e aguilhões nos flancos, e vos perseguirão na terra onde habitardes.
56 And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”	56 E tudo o que eu tinha pensado fazer a eles, o farei a vós."
