1 These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,	1 Queste sono le tappe dei figli d'Israele che uscirono dalla terra d'Egitto, secondo le loro schiere, sotto la guida di Mosè e Aronne.
2 which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.	2 Mosè scrisse i loro punti di partenza, secondo le loro tappe, per ordine del Signore: queste sono le loro tappe, secondo i loro punti di partenza.
3 Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.	3 Partirono da Ramses nel primo mese, il 15 del mese del primo mese. 7 Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.	7 Partirono da Etam e ripiegarono su Pi-Achirot, che è di fronte a Baal-Zefon: e si accamparono di fronte a Migdol.
8 And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. 14 And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.	14 Partirono da Alus e si accamparono a Refidim: là non c'era acqua da bere per il popolo.
15 And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.	15 Partirono da Refidim e si accamparono nel deserto del Sinai.
16 But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.	16 Partirono dal deserto del Sinai e si accamparono a Kibrot-Taava.
17 And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.	17 Partirono da Kibrot-Taava e si accamparono a Cazerot.
18 And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.	18 Partirono da Cazerot e si accamparono a Ritma.
19 And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.	19 Partirono da Ritma e si accamparono a Rimmon-Perez.
20 And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.	20 Partirono da Rimmon-Perez e si accamparono a Libna.
21 From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.	21 Partirono da Libna e si accamparono a Rissa.
22 And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.	22 Partirono da Rissa e si accamparono a Keelata.
23 Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.	23 Partirono da Keelata e si accamparono al monte Sefer.
24 Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.	24 Partirono dal monte Sefer e si accamparono a Carada.
25 Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.	25 Partirono da Carada e si accamparono a Makelot.
26 And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.	26 Partirono da Makelot e si accamparono a Tacat.
27 From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.	27 Partirono da Tacat e si accamparono a Terach.
28 Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.	28 Partirono da Terach e si accamparono a Mitka.
29 And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.	29 Partirono da Mitka e si accamparono a Casmona.
30 And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.	30 Partirono da Casmona e si accamparono a Moserot.
31 And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.	31 Partirono da Moserot e si accamparono a Bene-Iaakan.
32 And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.	32 Partirono da Bene-Iaakan e si accamparono a Or-Ghidgad.
33 Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.	33 Partirono da Or-Ghidgad e si accamparono a Iotbata.
34 And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.	34 Partirono da Iotbata e si accamparono ad Abrona.
35 And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.	35 Partirono da Abrona e si accamparono a Ezion-Gheber.
36 Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.	36 Partirono da Ezion-Gheber e si accamparono nel deserto di Zin, che è Kades.
37 And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.	37 Partirono da Kades e si accamparono al monte Or, all'estremità della terra di Edom.
38 And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,	38 Il sacerdote Aronne salì sul monte Or per ordine del Signore e vi morì nell'anno quaranta dall'uscita dei figli d'Israele dalla terra d'Egitto, nel mese quinto, nel primo del mese.

44 And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.	44 Partirono da Obot e si accamparono a Iie-Abarim, al confine di Moab.
45 And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.	45 Partirono da Iie-Abarim e si accamparono a Dibon-Gad.
46 Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.	46 Partirono da Dibon-Gad e si accamparono in Almon-Diblataim.
47 And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.	47 Partirono da Almon-Diblataim e si accamparono ai monti Abarim, di fronte al Nebo.
48 And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.	48 Partirono dai monti Abarim e si accamparono nella steppa di Moab, presso il Giordano di Gerico.
49 And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,	49 Si accamparono presso il Giordano, da Bet-Iesimot ad Abel-Sittim, nella steppa di Moab.
50 where the Lord said to Moses:	50 Il Signore disse a Mosè nella steppa di Moab, presso il Giordano di Gerico:
51 “Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,	51 "Parla ai figli d'Israele e di' loro: Poiché state per passare il Giordano verso la terra di Canaan,
52 destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,	52 dovrete scacciare tutti gli abitanti della terra davanti a voi, distruggerete tutte le loro raffigurazioni, distruggerete tutte le loro statue fuse, annienterete tutti i loro luoghi alti.
53 cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,	53 Entrerete in possesso della terra e dei suoi abitanti, perché a voi l'ho data in eredità.
54 which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.	54 Vi spartirete la terra a sorte, secondo le vostre famiglie: a chi è grande moltiplicherete la propria eredità, a chi è piccolo diminuirete la propria eredità; e avrà quello su cui uscirà per lui la sorte. Vi spartirete secondo le tribù dei vostri padri.
55 But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.	55 Se non scaccerete gli abitanti del paese davanti a voi, quelli che resteranno di loro saranno spine per i vostri occhi e rovi per i vostri fianchi e vi premeranno nella terra in cui abiterete.
56 And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”	56 Quello che mi ero prefisso di fare a loro, lo farò a voi".
