Isaia 52

BIBBIA MARTINI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Sorgi, sorgi, vestiti di tua fortezza, o Sionne: ammantati dei vestimenti di tua letizia, o Gerusalemme città del Santo; perocché non passerà mai più per mezzo a te l'incirconciso, e l'immondo.	1 Awake, awake! Clothe yourself in strength, Zion. Put on your finest clothes, Jerusalem, Holy City; forthe uncircumcised and the unclean will enter you no more.
2 Alzati dalla polvere, sorgi; ponti a sedere Gerusalemme: scuoti dal tuo collo il giogo, o schiava figlia di Sion;	2 Shake off your dust; get up, captive Jerusalem! The chains have fal en from your neck, captivedaughter of Jerusalem!
3 Imperocché queste cose dice il Signore: Senza prezzo siete stati venduti, e senza denaro sarete ricomperati.	3 For Yahweh says this, 'You were sold for nothing; you wil be redeemed without money.'
4 Imperocché queste cose dice il Signore Dio: In Egitto passò da principio il popolo mio per istarvi come forestiere: ed Assur lo maltrattò senza motivo.	4 For the Lord Yahweh says this, 'Long ago my people went to Egypt and settled there as aliens; final yAssyria oppressed them for no reason.
5 E adesso, che debbo far io qui (dice il Signore), dappoiché senza prezzo è stato menato schiavo il popol mio? Color che lo dominano, si diportano iniquamente, dice il Signore, e di continuo, e tutto giorno è bestemmiato il mio nome.	5 So now what is to be done,' declares Yahweh, 'since my people have been carried off for nothing, theirmasters howl in triumph,' declares Yahweh, 'and my name is held in contempt all day, every day?
6 Per questo il mio popolo conoscerà in quel giorno il nome mio; perocché io stesso, che parlava, ecco ch'io son presente.	6 Because of this my people wil know my name, because of this they will know when the day comes,that it is I saying, Here I am!'
7 Quanto son belli i piedi di colui, il quale sui monti annunzia, e predica la pace! di colui, che annunzia ogni bene, di lui, che predica la salute, e dice a Sionne: Il Signore Dio tuo regnerà.	7 How beautiful on the mountains, are the feet of the messenger announcing peace, of the messenger ofgood news, who proclaims salvation and says to Zion, 'Your God is king!'
8 Voce delle tue sentinelle: alzeranno la voce, e insieme canteranno laude; perchè occhio ad occhio vedranno quando il Signore avrà a se ritornata Sionne.	8 The voices of your watchmen! Now they raise their voices, shouting for joy together, for with their owneyes they have seen Yahweh returning to Zion.
9 Rallegratevi, e date laudi insieme, o deserti di Gerusalemme: perchè il Signore ha consolato il popol suo, ha riscattata Gerusalemme.	9 Break into shouts together, shouts of joy, you ruins of Jerusalem; for Yahweh has consoled his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Il Signore ha rivelato il braccio suo santo agli occhi di tutte le genti: e tutte le estreme parti della terra vedranno la salute mandata dal nostro Dio.	10 Yahweh has bared his holy arm for al the nations to see, and al the ends of the earth have seen thesalvation of our God.
11 Partitevi, partitevi, uscite di costà: non toccate nulla d'immondo: uscite di mezzo a Babilonia, purificatevi voi, che portate i vasi del Signore.	11 Go away, go away, leave that place, do not touch anything unclean. Get out of her, purify yourselves,you who carry Yahweh's vessels!
12 Imperocché voi non partirete tu multuosamente, né vi darete fretta come fuggiaschi, perchè il Signore anderà innanzi a voi, e vi adunerà il Dio d'Israele.	12 For you are not to hurry away, you are not to leave like fugitives. No, Yahweh marches at your headand the God of Israel is your rearguard.
13 Ecco che il mio servo sarà intelligente, sarà esaltato, e ingrandito, e molto sublime.	13 Look, my servant will prosper, wil grow great, wil rise to great heights.
14 Come tu fosti lo stupore di molti, cosi il tuo aspetto sarà senza gloria tragli uomini, e la tua faccia tra' figliuoli degli uomini,	14 As many people were aghast at him -- he was so inhumanly disfigured that he no longer looked like aman-
15 Questi aspergerà molte genti, dinanzi a lui staranno i regi a bocca chiusa: perchè quegli, a' quali nulla fu detto di lui, il vedranno: e que', che non ne udiron parlare, lo contempleranno.	15 so many nations wil be astonished and kings wil stay tight-lipped before him, seeing what had neverbeen told them, learning what they had not heard before.
