Psalms 96

DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 A canticle for David himself, when the house was built after the captivity. Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: sing to the Lord, all the earth.	1 Canten al Señor un canto nuevo, cante al Señor toda la tierra;
2 Sing ye to the Lord and bless his name: shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 canten al Señor, bendigan su Nombre, día tras día, proclamen su victoria.
3 Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people.	3 Anuncien su gloria entre las naciones, y sus maravillas entre los pueblos.
4 For the Lord is great, and exceedingly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Porque el Señor es grande y muy digno de alabanza, más temible que todos los dioses.
5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.	5 Los dioses de los pueblos no son más que apariencia, pero el Señor hizo el cielo;
6 Praise and beauty are before him: holiness and majesty in his sanctuary.	6 en su presencia hay esplendor y majestad, en su Santuario, poder y hermosura.
7 Bring ye to the Lord, O ye kindreds of the Gentiles, bring ye to the Lord glory and honour:	7 Aclamen al Señor, familias de los pueblos, aclamen la gloria y el poder del Señor;
8 bring to the Lord glory unto his name. Bring up sacrifices, and come into his courts:	8 aclamen la gloria del nombre del Señor. Entren en sus atrios trayendo una ofrenda,
9 adore ye the Lord in his holy court. Let all the earth be moved at his presence.	9 adoren al Señor al manifestarse su santidad: ¡que toda la tierra tiemble ante él!
10 Say ye among the Gentiles, the Lord hath reigned. For he hath corrected the world, which shall not be moved: he will judge the people with justice.	10 Digan entre las naciones: «¡el Señor reina! El mundo está firme y no vacilará. El Señor juzgará a los pueblos con rectitud».
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, let the sea be moved, and the fulness thereof:	11 Alégrese el cielo y exulte la tierra, resuene el mar y todo lo que hay en él;
12 the fields and all things that are in them shall be joyful. Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice	12 regocíjese el campo con todos sus frutos, griten de gozo los árboles del bosque.
13 before the face of the Lord, because he cometh: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with his truth.	13 Griten de gozo delante del Señor, porque él viene a gobernar la tierra: él gobernará al mundo con justicia, y a los pueblos con su verdad.
