¹ Il Signore regna! E' ammantato di maestà, il Signore è cinto di forza. Ha reso saldo il mondo, non vacillerà.	¹ The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed, he is girded with strength. Yea, the world is established; it shall never be moved;
² Saldo è il suo trono da sempre: dall'eternità tu sei, o Dio.	² thy throne is established from of old; thou art from everlasting.
³ Elevarono i fiumi, o Signore, elevarono i fiumi la loro voce, elevarono i fiumi il loro fragore.	³ The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up their roaring.
⁴ Più che lo scroscio di acque imponenti, possente più che i flutti del mare, possente è nell'alto il Signore.	⁴ Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty!
⁵ I tuoi statuti sono oltremodo fedeli, la santità s'addice alla tua casa, per la durata dei giorni, o Signore.	⁵ Thy decrees are very sure; holiness befits thy house, O LORD, for evermore.
