1 Alleluia. Lodate, servi del Signore, lodate il nome del Signore.	1 Praise the LORD! Praise, O servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD!
2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, ora e sempre.	2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore!
3 Dal sorgere del sole al suo tramonto sia lodato il nome del Signore.	3 From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised!
4 Eccelso è il Signore, al di sopra di tutti i popoli; più alta dei cieli è la sua gloria.	4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens!
5 Chi è come il Signore nostro Dio, che siede nell'alto	5 Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high,
6 e si china a guardare nei cieli e sulla terra?	6 who looks far down upon the heavens and the earth?
7 Egli solleva dalla polvere l'indigente, rialza il povero dall'immondizia,	7 He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 per farlo sedere con i prìncipi, con i prìncipi del suo popolo.	8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.
9 Fa abitare in casa la sterile, madre gioiosa di figli. Alleluia.	9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!
