1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:	1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e di' loro: Quando sarete entrati nella terra, in cui doveteabitare, della quale io darovvi il possesso,	2 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have arrived in the country where you are to live andwhich I am giving to you,
3 E farete offerta al Signore di olocausto, o di vittima per adempire un voto, o perispontanea obblazione, o facendo abbruciare nelle vostre solennità in odor soavissimo alSignore, sieno bovi, sieno pecore:	3 and you burn food as an offering to Yahweh either as a burnt offering or as a sacrifice, whether inpayment of a vow, or as a voluntary gift, or on the occasion of one of your solemn feasts, from your herds andflocks as a smel pleasing to Yahweh:
4 Chiunque immolerà un'ostia, offerirà pel sacrifizio di fior di farina la decima parte d'unephi aspersa d'olio pel quarto di un hin:	4 the offerer wil , as his personal gift to Yahweh, bring a cereal offering of one-tenth of an ephah of fineflour mixed with one-quarter of a hin of oil.
5 E altrettanto di vino darà per fare le libagioni pell'olocausto, o pella vittima ad ogniagnello,	5 You will also make a libation of wine, one-quarter of a hin to each lamb, in addition to the burntoffering or sacrifice.
6 Ma a ciascun ariete si offeriranno due decimi di fior di farina aspersa d'olio pel terzo diun hin:	6 For a ram, you will make a cereal offering of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with one-thirdof a hin of oil,
7 E offeriranno del vino per la libagione un terzo della stessa misura in odor soavissimo alSignore.	7 and a libation of one-third of a hin of wine as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
8 Quando poi offerirai dei buoi per olocausto, ovvero per ostia pell'adempimento d'un voto, ocome ostie pacifiche,	8 If you offer a bul as a burnt offering or sacrifice, in payment of a vow or as a communion sacrifice forYahweh,
9 Per ogni bue darai tre decimi di fior di farina aspersa d'olio, che farà la metà di un hin:	9 in addition to the animal you wil offer a cereal offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixedwith half a hin of oil,
10 E altrettanto di vino per le libagioni in offerta di soave odore al Signore.	10 and you wil offer a libation of half a hin of wine, as food burnt as a smel pleasing to Yahweh.
11 Così farai	11 This wil be done for every bul , every ram, every lamb or kid.
12 Per ogni bue, e ariete, e agnello, e capro.	12 Whatever the number of victims you intend to offer, you wil do the same for each of them, howevermany there are.
13 Tanto quelli del paese, come i forestieri	13 "Every citizen of the country wil act in this way whenever he offers food burnt as a smel pleasing toYahweh;
14 Con uno stesso rito offeriranno i sacrifizii.	14 and if an alien residing with you or with your descendants intends to offer food burnt as a smelpleasing to Yahweh, he wil do as you do.
15 Una stessa legge, e ordinazione sarà tanto per voi, che per i forestieri del paese.	15 There wil be one law for you, members of the community, and the resident alien alike, a law bindingyour descendants for ever: before Yahweh you and the resident alien are no different.'
16 Il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:	16 One law, one statute, wil apply for you and the resident alien." '
17 Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e di' loro:	17 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
18 Giunti che sarete nella terra, che io vi darò,	18 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have entered the country to which I am bringing you,
19 Quando avrete mangiato del pane di quel paese, metterete a parte le primizie del vostro cibopel Signore.	19 you wil set a portion aside for Yahweh when you eat that country's bread.
20 Come separate le primizie dell'aia,	20 You wil set one cake aside as the first-fruits of your dough; you will set this offering aside like theone set aside from your threshing.
21 Così voi offerirete al Signore le primizie di quel che mangiate.	21 For al future generations you will set a portion of your dough aside for Yahweh.
22 Che se per ignoranza lascerete di fare alcuna di queste cose ordinate dal Signore a Mosè,	22 "If through inadvertence you fail in any of these orders which Yahweh has given to Moses
23 E da questo intimate a voi da quel giorno in poi, nel quale cominciò egli a darvi icomandamenti,	23 (whatever orders Yahweh has given you or your descendants through Moses, from the day whenYahweh gave his orders),
24 E se tutta la moltitudine si dimentica di far tal cosa, ella offerirà un vitello di brancoin olocausto in odor soavissimo al Signore, e l'offerta della farina colle sue libagioni,come il rito le richiede, e un capro per lo peccato.	24 this is what must be done: "If it is an inadvertence on the part of the community, the community as awhole wil offer a young bull as a burnt offering, as a smell pleasing to Yahweh, with the prescribedaccompanying cereal offering and libation, and a he-goat as a sacrifice for sin.
25 E il sacerdote farà orazione per tutta la moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israele: e saralleperdonato, perché non ha peccato per volontà; offeriranno nondimeno il sacrifizio dabruciarsi interamente in onor del Signore per sé, e pel suo peccato, ed errore:	25 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation for the entire community of Israelites, and they wil beforgiven, since it was an inadvertence. Once they have brought their offering as food burnt for Yahweh, and havepresented their sacrifice for sin before Yahweh to make amends for their inadvertence,
26 E sarà perdonato a tutta la plebe de' figliuoli d'Israele, e agli stranieri dimoranti traloro, perché la colpa di tutto il popolo procedé da ignoranza.	26 the whole community of Israelites wil be forgiven, as also the alien residing with them, since theentire people acted by inadvertence.
27 Che se una sola persona ha peccato ignorantemente, offerirà una capra di un anno pel suopeccato:	27 "If it is an individual who has sinned by inadvertence, he wil offer a yearling kid as a sacrifice for sin.
28 E il sacerdote farà orazione per lei, che ha peccato per ignoranza dinanzi al Signore: e leimpetrerà il perdono, e saralle perdonato.	28 The priest wil perform the rite of expiation before Yahweh for the person who has gone astray owingto this sin of inadvertence and, expiation having been made for him, he will be forgiven;
29 La stessa legge sarà per quelli del paese, e pe' forestieri, che hanno peccato perignoranza.	29 whether he is an Israelite citizen or a resident alien, you wil have one law for anyone who sins byinadvertence.
30 Ma la persona, che avrà mancato per superbia, sia egli cittadino, o forestiero, saràsterminato dalla società del suo popolo, perché si ribellò contro del Signore:	30 "But the individual who acts deliberately, be he citizen or alien, commits an outrage against Yahweh,and such a man wil be outlawed from his people.
31 Perocché egli dispregiò la parola del Signore, e violò il comandamento di lui: per questosarà annichilato, e pagherà il fio di sua iniquità.	31 Since he has treated Yahweh's word with contempt and has disobeyed his order, such a man wil beoutlawed absolutely and wil bear the consequences of his guilt." '
32 Or egli avvenne, mentre i figliuoli d'Israele erano nella solitudine, che fu trovato unuomo, che faceva un fastello di legna in giorno di sabato:	32 While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was caught gathering wood on the Sabbath day.
33 E lo presentarono a Mosè, e ad Aronne, e a tutta la moltitudine.	33 Those who caught him gathering wood brought him before Moses, Aaron and the whole community.
34 E lo misero in prigione, non sapendo quel che avessero a farne.	34 He was kept in custody, because the penalty he should undergo had not yet been fixed.
35 E il Signore disse a Mosè: Costui sia messo a morte; lo lapidi tutta la moltitudine fuoridegli alloggiamenti.	35 Yahweh said to Moses, 'This man must be put to death. The whole community will stone him outsidethe camp.'
36 E condottolo fuora lo lapidarono, ed ei perì, come avea ordinato il Signore.	36 The whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him til he was dead, as Yahweh hadordered Moses.
37 Disse ancora il Signore a Mosè:	37 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
38 Parla a' figliuoli d'Israele, e dì' loro, che si mettano delle frange agli angoli de' loromantelli, e vi pongano una fascia di color di giacinto:	38 'Speak to the Israelites and tell them, for all generations to come, to put tassels on the hems of theirclothes and work a violet thread into the tassel at the hem.
39 Mirando le quali si ricordino di tutti i comandamenti del Signore, e non vadan dietro a'loro pensieri, e ai loro occhi, che nel reo amore di varii oggetti s'invescano:	39 You wil thus have a tassel, and the sight of it wil remind you of al Yahweh's orders and how youare to put them into practice, and not follow the dictates of your own heart and eyes, which have led you to beunfaithful.
40 Ma piuttosto si ricordino de' precetti del Signore, e gli adempiano, e sieno santi al loroDio.	40 'This wil remind you of all my orders; put them into practice, and you wil be consecrated to yourGod.
41 Io il Signore Dio vostro, che vi trassi dalla terra d'Egitto per essere vostro Dio.	41 I, Yahweh your God, have brought you out of Egypt, to be your God, I, Yahweh your God.'
