Psalms 96

1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.	1 CANTATE al Signore un nuovo cantico; Cantate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, al Signore.
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 Cantate al Signore, benedite il suo Nome; Predicate di giorno in giorno la sua salute.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.	3 Raccontate fra le genti la sua gloria, E le sue maraviglie fra tutti i popoli.
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Perciocchè il Signore è grande, e degno di sovrana lode; Egli è tremendo sopra tutti gl’iddii.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.	5 Perciocchè tutti gl’iddii de’ popoli sono idoli; Ma il Signore ha fatti i cieli.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.	6 Maestà e magnificenza sono davanti a lui; Forza e gloria sono nel suo santuario.
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.	7 Date al Signore, o generazioni de’ popoli, Date al Signore gloria e forza.
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.	8 Date al Signore la gloria dovuta al suo Nome; Portategli offerte, e venite ne’ suoi cortili.
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.	9 Adorate il Signore nel magnifico santuario; Tremate, o abitanti di tutta la terra, per la sua presenza
10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.	10 Dite fra le genti: Il Signore regna; Il mondo sarà pure stabilito, e non sarà più smosso; Egli giudicherà i popoli in dirittura.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.	11 Rallegrinsi i cieli, e gioisca la terra; Risuoni il mare, e quello ch’è in esso.
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice	12 Festeggi la campagna, e tutto quello ch’è in essa. Allora tutti gli alberi delle selve daranno voci d’allegrezza,
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.	13 Nel cospetto del Signore; perciocchè egli viene, Egli viene per giudicar la terra; Egli giudicherà il mondo in giustizia, Ed i popoli nella sua verità
