1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.	1 Chantez au Seigneur un chant nouveau, Chantez au Seigneur, toute la terre!
2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 Chantez au Seigneur et bénissez son nom, annoncez jour après jour son salut.
3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.	3 Racontez parmi les nations sa gloire, redites à tous les peuples ses prodiges!
4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Car le Seigneur est grand, très digne de louange, et redoutable, bien au-dessus des dieux.
5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.	5 Ces dieux des peuples ne sont que des idoles, mais lui, Yahvé, a fait les cieux.
6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.	6 Honneur et Majesté marchent devant lui, Force et Splendeur sont en son sanctuaire.
7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.	7 Venez, tribus et peuples, pour l’offrande au Seigneur, retournez au Seigneur la gloire et la puissance!
8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.	8 Rendez au Seigneur la gloire de son nom, apportez vos offrandes jusque sur ses parvis.
9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.	9 Courbez-vous devant lui sur le parvis sacré, tremblez devant sa face, gens de toute la terre!
10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.	10 Annoncez-le chez les païens: le Seigneur règne! Il jugera les peuples selon la droiture.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.	11 Joie dans les cieux, fête sur la terre, grondement des eaux et du monde marin!
12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice	12 Que la campagne, les fruits du sol, crient leur joie, que les arbres de la forêt lancent des vivats
13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.	13 sur le passage du Seigneur, car il vient, car il vient pour juger la terre. Il jugera le monde avec justice, et les peuples selon sa vérité.
