KING JAMES BIBLELXX
But Job answered and said,1 υπολαβων δε ιωβ λεγει
How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?2 τινι προσκεισαι η τινι μελλεις βοηθειν ποτερον ουχ ω πολλη ισχυς και ω βραχιων κραταιος εστιν
How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?3 τινι συμβεβουλευσαι ουχ ω πασα σοφια η τινι επακολουθησεις ουχ ω μεγιστη δυναμις
To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?4 τινι ανηγγειλας ρηματα πνοη δε τινος εστιν η εξελθουσα εκ σου
Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.5 μη γιγαντες μαιωθησονται υποκατωθεν υδατος και των γειτονων αυτου
Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.6 γυμνος ο αδης επωπιον αυτου και ουκ εστιν περιβολαιον τη απωλεια
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.7 εκτεινων βορεαν επ' ουδεν κρεμαζων γην επι ουδενος
He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.8 δεσμευων υδωρ εν νεφελαις αυτου και ουκ ερραγη νεφος υποκατω αυτου
He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.9 ο κρατων προσωπον θρονου εκπεταζων επ' αυτον νεφος αυτου
He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.10 προσταγμα εγυρωσεν επι προσωπον υδατος μεχρι συντελειας φωτος μετα σκοτους
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.11 στυλοι ουρανου επετασθησαν και εξεστησαν απο της επιτιμησεως αυτου
He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.12 ισχυι κατεπαυσεν την θαλασσαν επιστημη δε ετρωσε το κητος
By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.13 κλειθρα δε ουρανου δεδοικασιν αυτον προσταγματι δε εθανατωσεν δρακοντα αποστατην
Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?14 ιδου ταυτα μερη οδου αυτου και επι ικμαδα λογου ακουσομεθα εν αυτω σθενος δε βροντης αυτου τις οιδεν οποτε ποιησει
