Isaías 32

1 He aquí que para hacer justicia reinará un rey, y los jefes juzgarán según derecho.	1 See, a king will reign justly and princes will rule rightly.
2 Será cada uno como un sitio abrigado contra el viento y a cubierto del temporal; como fluir de aguas en sequedal, como sombra de peñón en tierra agostada.	2 Each of them will be a shelter from the wind, a retreat from the rain. They will be like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a great rock in a parched land.
3 No se cerrarán los ojos de los videntes, y los oídos de los que escuchan percibirán;	3 The eyes of those who see will not be closed;. the ears of those who hear will be attentive,
4 el corazón de los alocados se esforzará en aprender, y la lengua de los tartamudos hablará claro y ligero.	4 No more will the fool be called noble, nor the trickster be considered honorable,
5 No se llamará ya noble al necio, ni al desaprensivo se le llamará magnífico.
6 Porque el necio dice necedades y su corazón medita el mal, haciendo impiedad y profiriendo contra Yahveh desatinos, dejando vacío el estómago hambriento y privando de bebida al sediento.	6 For the fool speaks foolishly, planning evil in his heart:. How to do wickedness, to speak perversely against the LORD, To let the hungry go empty and the thirsty be without drink,
7 Cuanto al desaprensivo, sus tramas son malas, se dedica a inventar maquinaciones para sorprender a los pobres con palabras engañosas, cuando el pobre expone su causa.	7 And the trickster uses wicked trickery, planning crimes: How to ruin the poor with lies, and the needy when they plead their case.
8 Mientras que el noble medita nobles cosas, y en las cosas nobles está firme.	8 But the noble man plans noble things, and by noble things he stands.
9 Mujeres indolentes, ¡arriba!, oíd mi voz; hijas confiadas, escuchad mi palabra.	9 O complacent ladies, rise up and hear my voice, overconfident women, give heed to my words.
10 Dentro de un año y algunos días temblaréis las que confiáis, pues se habrá acabado la vendimia para no volver más.	10 In a little more than a year you overconfident ones will be shaken; The vintage will fail, there will be no harvest.
11 Espantaos, indolentes, temblad, confiadas, desvestíos, desnudaos, ceñid vuestra cintura,	11 Tremble, you who are complacent! Shudder, you who are overconfident! Strip yourselves bare, with only a loincloth to cover you,
12 golpeaos el pecho, por los campos atrayentes, por las viñas fructíferas.	12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, the fruitful vine,
13 Sobre el solar de mi pueblo zarza y espino crecerá, y también sobre todas las casas de placer de la villa alegre,	13 And the soil of my people, overgrown whth thorns and briers; For all the joyful houses, the wanton city.
14 porque el alcázar habrá sido abandonado, el genio de la ciudad habrá desaparecido; Ofel y el Torreón quedarán en adelante vacíos por siempre, para delicia de asnos y pastizal de rebaños.	14 Yes, the castle will be forsaken, the noisy city deserted;
15 Al fin será derramado desde arriba sobre nosotros espíritu. Se hará la estepa un vergel, y el vergel será considerado como selva.	15 Until the spirit from on high is poured out on us. Then will the desert become an orchard and the orchard be regarded as a forest.
16 Reposará en la estepa la equidad, y la justicia morará en el vergel;	16 Right will dwell in the desert and justice abide in the orchard.

19 - La selva será abatida y la ciudad hundida.	19 Down it comes, as trees come down in the forest! The city will be utterly laid low. Hill and tower will become wasteland forever for wild asses to frolic in, and flocks to pasture,
20 Dichosos vosotros, que sembraréis cabe todas las corrientes, y dejaréis sueltos el buey y el asno.	20 Happy are you who sow beside every stream, and let the ox and the ass go freely!
