Ісая 65

Біблія	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Я дав приступити до мене тим, що про мене не питали. Мене знайшли ті, що мене не шукали. Я говорив: «Ось я, ось я!» — до народу, що не взивав мого імени.	1 I have let myself be approached by those who did not consult me, I have let myself be found by thosewho did not seek me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am!' to a nation that did not invoke my name.
2 Я простягав мої руки день-у-день до бунтівливого народу, що ходив недобрими шляхами, за своїми примхами;	2 Each day I stretched out my hands to a rebel ious people who fol ow a way which is not good, as thefancy takes them;
3 до народу, що мене безнастанно в обличчя дратує, що по садах приносить жертви, що на цеглі палить кадило;	3 a people constantly provoking me to my face by sacrificing in gardens, burning incense on bricks,
4 що сидить у гробах, ночі у сховиськах проводить, що їсть свинину, що в його посудах гидка юшка;	4 living in tombs, spending the night in dark corners, eating the meat of pigs, putting unclean foods ontheir plates.
5 що говорить: «Стій здалека, не підходь до мене, бо я святий для тебе!» Вони — їдкий дим для мого носа, вогонь, що повсякчас палає.	5 'Keep your distance,' they say, 'do not touch me, lest my sanctity come near you!' Such words are likestifling smoke to me, an ever-burning fire.
6 Ось що написано передо мною: «Я не мовчатиму, поки їм не відплачу	6 Look, it is inscribed before me: I shal not be silent until I have repaid them, repaid them in ful ,
7 за всі їхні беззаконня та беззаконня їхніх батьків, — слово Господнє, — що по горах палили ладан та по горбищах мене зневажали. Я спершу їм відміряю їхню плату, я заплачу їм у їхнє лоно.»	7 punished your guilt and your ancestors' guilt together, Yahweh declares. 8 Так говорить Господь: «Коли у винограднім гроні повно соку, кажуть: Не нищ його, бо в ньому є благословення! — Так само я зроблю заради слуг моїх: я не знищу всього.	8 Yahweh says this: As when a bunch of grapes is found stil to have juice in it, people say, 'Do notdestroy it, for it contains a blessing,' so I shall act for my servants' sake, I shal not destroy them all.
9 Я виведу з Якова потомство, з Юди — спадкоємця гір моїх. Вибрані по них успадкують, слуги мої там житимуть.	9 I shal produce descendants from Jacob and heirs to my mountains from Judah, my chosen ones wilown them and my servants wil live there.
10 Шарон буде вигоном для отари, Ахор-долина — пасовиськом для худоби на користь мого люду, що мене шукає.	10 Sharon wil be a pasture for flocks, the Val ey of Achor a feeding ground for cattle, for those of mypeople who have sought me.
11 Вас же, що покинули Господа, що забули про мою святу гору, що готуєте стіл для Гада, наповнюєте чашу вщерть для Мені, —	11 But as for those of you who abandon Yahweh, who forget my holy mountain, who lay the table forGad, who fil cups of mixed wine for Meni,
12 я вас під меч призначу; усі ви схилитесь, і вас зітнуть, бо я кликав, та ви не обзивались, говорив, але ви не зважали, творили зло на очах у мене, вибрали те, що мені не довподоби.»	12 you I shal destine to the sword and al of you wil stoop to be slaughtered, because I cal ed and youwould not answer, I spoke and you would not listen; you have done what I consider evil, you chose to do whatdispleases me.
13 Тому Господь Бог так говорить: «Ось слуги мої будуть їсти, ви ж будете голодувати. Ось слуги мої будуть пити, а вас мучитиме спрага. Ось слуги мої будуть веселитися — ви ж будете стидатися.	13 Therefore Lord Yahweh says this: You will see my servants eating while you go hungry; you will seemy servants drinking while you go thirsty; you wil see my servants rejoicing while you are put to shame;
14 Ось слуги мої будуть співати з радости серця, ви ж голоситимете з болю серця, ридатимете із скрухи духа.	14 you will hear my servants shouting for joy of heart, while you shriek for sorrow of heart and howl with abroken spirit.
15 Ви ім’я ваше лишите вибраним моїм на проклін: «Хай Господь уб’є тебе!» А слуг своїх він назве іншим ім’ям,	15 And you wil leave your name behind as a curse for my chosen ones, 'May Lord Yahweh strike youdead!' But to his servants he wil give another name.
16 так що хто буде на землі благословенний, буде благословенний Богом правди; і хто на землі буде клястися, буде клястися Богом правди. Бо забудуться давні злидні, зникнуть з очей у мене.	16 Whoever blesses himself on earth wil bless himself by the God of truth, and whoever swears an oathon earth will swear by the God of truth, for past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes.
17 Бо ось я творю нове небо й нову землю, і те, що було перше, не буде згадуватися більше, ані спадати на думку.	17 For look, I am going to create new heavens and a new earth, and the past will not be rememberedand will come no more to mind.
18 Ви ж радуйтеся й веселіться по віки вічні з-за того, що я творю! Бо ось я творю Єрусалим на радість, його народові на втіху.	18 Rather be joyful, be glad for ever at what I am creating, for look, I am creating Jerusalem to be 'Joy'and my people to be 'Gladness'.
19 Я веселитися буду Єрусалимом, я радуватимусь моїм народом. Не буде чути більш у ньому ридання голосного, ні крику.	19 I shal be joyful in Jerusalem and I shal rejoice in my people. No more will the sound of weeping beheard there, nor the sound of a shriek;
20 Не буде там більше немовлятка, що живе лише кілька днів, ані старця, який не сповнить свого віку. Бо наймолодший там помре столітком, а грішник, що матиме сто років, буде проклятий.	20 never again wil there be an infant there who lives only a few days, nor an old man who does not runhis ful course; for the youngest wil die at a hundred, and at a hundred the sinner wil be accursed.
21 Вони збудують доми й будуть в них жити, насадять виноградники й плоди їхні будуть їсти.	21 They will build houses and live in them, they wil plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
22 Не будуть більше будувати, щоб інший там жив, не будуть більше садити, щоб їв хтось інший. Бо як вік дерева, буде вік мого народу, і вибрані мої трудом рук своїх будуть користуватися.	22 They will not build for others to live in, or plant for others to eat; for the days of my people wil be likethe days of a tree, and my chosen ones wil themselves use what they have made.
23 Не будуть уже більш марно трудитися, ані дітей не будуть більше породжувати на погибель, бо вони будуть родом, благословенним Господом, а з ними й їхні потомки.	23 They will not toil in vain, nor bear children destined to disaster, for they are the race of Yahweh'sblessed ones and so are their offspring.
24 І буде так, що перш, ніж вони візвуть до мене, я озвуся; вони ще будуть промовляти, а я їх уже вислухаю.	24 Thus, before they cal I shal answer, before they stop speaking I shal have heard.
25 Вовк і ягня будуть пастися вкупі, і лев, наче віл, буде їсти солому; порох буде харч змія. Не будуть більше чинити зла, ані шкоди на моїй святій горі», — слово Господнє.	25 The wolf and the young lamb wil feed together, the lion wil eat hay like the ox, and dust be theserpent's food. No hurt, no harm wil be done on al my holy mountain, Yahweh says.
