1 Brothers, certainly the will of my heart, and my prayer to God, is for them unto salvation.	1 Hermanos, el anhelo de mi corazón y mi oración a Dios en favor de ellos es que se salven.
2 For I offer testimony to them, that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.	2 Testifico en su favor que tienen celo de Dios, pero no conforme a un pleno conocimiento.
3 For, being ignorant of the justice of God, and seeking to establish their own justice, they have not subjected themselves to the justice of God.	3 Pues desconociendo la justicia de Dios y empeñándose en establecer la suya propia, no se sometieron a la justicia de Dios.
4 For the end of the law, Christ, is unto justice for all who believe.	4 Porque el fin de la ley es Cristo, para justificación de todo creyente.
5 And Moses wrote, about the justice that is of the law, that the man who will have done justice shall live by justice.	5 En efecto, Moisés escribe acerca de la justicia que nace de la ley: Quien la cumpla, vivirá por ella.
6 But the justice that is of faith speaks in this way: Do not say in your heart: “Who shall ascend into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down);	6 Mas la justicia que viene de la fe dice así: No digas en tu corazón ¿quién subirá al cielo?, es decir: para hacer bajar a Cristo;
7 “Or who shall descend into the abyss?” (that is, to call back Christ from the dead).	7 o bien: ¿quién bajará al abismo?, es decir: para hacer subir a Cristo de entre los muertos.
8 But what does Scripture say? “The word is near, in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the word of faith, which we are preaching.	8 Entonces, ¿qué dice? Cerca de ti está la palabra: en tu boca y en tu corazón, es decir, la palabra de la fe que nosotros proclamamos.
9 For if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and if you believe in your heart that God has raised him up from the dead, you shall be saved.	9 Porque, si confiesas con tu boca que Jesús es Señor y crees en tu corazón que Dios le resucitó de entre los muertos, serás salvo.
10 For with the heart, we believe unto justice; but with the mouth, confession is unto salvation.	10 Pues con el corazón se cree para conseguir la justicia, y con la boca se confiesa para conseguir la salvación.
11 For Scripture says: “All those who believe in him shall not be confounded.”	11 Porque dice la Escritura: Todo el que crea en él no será confundido.
12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. For the same Lord is over all, richly in all who call upon him.	12 Que no hay distinción entre judío y griego, pues uno mismo es el Señor de todos, rico para todos los que le invocan.
13 For all those who have called upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.	13 Pues todo el que invoque el nombre del Señor se salvará.
14 Then in what way will those who have not believed in him call upon him? Or in what way will those who have not heard of him believe in him? And in what way will they hear of him without preaching?	14 Pero ¿cómo invocarán a aquel en quien no han creído? ¿Cómo creerán en aquel a quien no han oído? ¿Cómo oirán sin que se les predique?
15 And truly, in what way will they preach, unless they have been sent, just as it has been written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who evangelize peace, of those who evangelize what is good!”	15 Y ¿cómo predicarán si no son enviados? Como dice la Escritura: ¡Cuán hermosos los pies de los que anuncian el bien!
16 But not all are obedient to the Gospel. For Isaiah says: “Lord, who has believed our report?”	16 Pero no todos obedecieron a la Buena Nueva. Porque Isaías dice: ¡Señor!, ¿quién ha creído a nuestra predicación?
17 Therefore, faith is from hearing, and hearing is through the Word of Christ.	17 Por tanto, la fe viene de la predicación, y la predicación, por la Palabra de Cristo.
18 But I say: Have they not heard? For certainly: “Their sound has gone forth throughout all the earth, and their words unto the limits of the whole world.”	18 Y pregunto yo: ¿Es que no han oído? ¡Cierto que sí! Por toda la tierra se ha difundido su voz y hasta los confines de la tierra sus palabras.
19 But I say: Has Israel not known? First, Moses says: “I will lead you into a rivalry with those who are not a nation; in the midst of a foolish nation, I will send you into wrath.”	19 Pero pregunto: ¿Es que Israel no comprendió? Moisés es el primero en decir: Os volveré celosos de una que no es nación; contra una nación estúpida os enfureceré.
20 And Isaiah dares to say: “I was discovered by those who were not seeking me. I appeared openly to those who were not asking about me.”	20 Isaías, a su vez, se atreve a decir: Fui hallado de quienes no me buscaban; me manifesté a quienes no preguntaban por mi.
21 Then to Israel he says: “All day long I have stretched out my hands to a people who do not believe and who contradict me.”	21 Mas a Israel dice: Todo el día extendí mis manos hacia un pueblo incrédulo y rebelde.
