| 1 Béséléel fit aussi l'autel des holocaustes de bois de sétim ; il avait cinq coudées en carré et trois de haut. | 1 He made also the altar of holocaust of setim wood, five cubits square, and three in height: |
| 2 Quatre cornes s'élevaient de ses quatre coins ; et il le couvrit de lames d'airain. | 2 The horns whereof went out from the corners, and he overlaid it with plates of brass. |
| 3 Il fit d'airain divers objets pour l'usage de cet autel, (les divers vases d'airain,) des chaudières, des tenailles, des pincettes, des crocs et des brasiers. | 3 And for the uses thereof, he prepared divers vessels of brass, cauldrons, tongs, fleshhooks, pothooks, and firepans. |
| 4 Une grille d'airain en forme de rets, et au-dessous un foyer au milieu de l'autel. | 4 And he made the grate thereof of brass, in manner of a net, and under it in the midst of the altar a hearth, |
| 5 Il jeta en fonte quatre anneaux qu'il mit aux quatre coins de cette grille, pour y passer des bâtons (les leviers) qui pussent servir à porter l'autel. | 5 Casting four rings at the four ends of the net at the top, to put in bars to carry it. |
| 6 Il fit aussi ces bâtons (leviers) de bois de sétim ; il les couvrit de lames d'airain, | 6 And he made the bars of setim wood, and overlaid them with plates of brass: |
| 7 et les fit passer dans les anneaux qui sortaient des côtés de l'autel. Or l'autel n'était pas solide (massif), mais il était composé d'ais, étant creux et vide au-dedans. | 7 And he drew them through the rings that stood out in the sides of the altar. And the altar itself was not solid, but hollow, of boards, and empty within. |
| 8 Il fit encore un bassin d'airain et sa base avec les miroirs des femmes qui veillaient à la porte du tabernacle. | 8 He made also the laver of brass, with the foot thereof, of the mirrors of the women that watch at the door of the tabernacle. |
| 9 Il fit aussi le parvis ; au côté du midi il y avait des rideaux de fin lin retors, (dans l'espace) de cent coudées. | 9 He made also the court, in the south side whereof were hangings of fine twisted linen, of a hundred cubits, |
| 10 Il y avait vingt colonnes d'airain avec leurs bases, et les chapiteaux de ces colonnes avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent. | 10 Twenty pillars of brass with their sockets, the heads of the pillars, and the whole graving of the work, of silver. |
| 11 Du côté du septentrion, il y avait (également) des rideaux qui tenaient le même espace. Les colonnes avec leurs bases et leurs chapiteaux étaient de même mesure, de même métal et travaillés de même. | 11 In like manner at the north side the hangings, the pillars, and the sockets and heads of the pillars were of the same measure, and work and metal. |
| 12 Mais au côté du parvis qui regardait l'occident, les rideaux ne s'étendaient que dans l'espace de cinquante coudées ; il y avait seulement dix colonnes d'airain avec leurs bases, et les chapiteaux des colonnes avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent. | 12 But on that side that looketh to the west, there were hangings of fifty cubits, ten pillars of brass with their sockets, and the heads of the pillars, and all the graving of the work, of silver. |
| 13 Du côté de l'orient, il mit (de même) des rideaux qui occupaient cinquante coudées de long, | 13 Moreover towards the east he prepared hangings of fifty cubits: |
| 14 dont il y avait quinze coudées d'un côté avec trois colonnes et leurs bases, | 14 Fifteen cubits of which were on one side with three pillars, and their sockets: |
| 15 et quinze coudées aussi de l'autre côté, avec les rideaux, trois colonnes et leurs bases ; car au milieu, entre les deux, il fit l'entrée du tabernacle. | 15 And on the other side (for between the two he made the entry of the tabernacle) there were hangings equally of fifteen cubits, and three pillars, and as many sockets. |
| 16 Tous ces rideaux du parvis étaient tissus de fin lin retors. | 16 All the hangings of the court were woven with twisted linen. |
| 17 Les bases des colonnes étaient d'airain ; leurs chapiteaux avec tous leurs ornements étaient d'argent, et il couvrit les colonnes mêmes du parvis (de lames) d'argent. | 17 The sockets of the pillars were of brass, and their heads with all their gravings of silver: and he overlaid the pillars of the court also with silver. |
| 18 Il fit le grand voile qui était à l'entrée du parvis, d'un ouvrage de broderie d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate et de fin lin retors. Il avait vingt coudées de long et cinq coudées de haut, selon la hauteur de tous les rideaux du parvis. | 18 And he made in the entry thereof an embroidered hanging of violet, purple, scarlet, and fine twisted linen, that was twenty cubits long, and five cubits high according to the measure of all the hangings of the court. |
| 19 (Mais) Il y avait quatre colonnes à l'entrée du tabernacle, avec leurs bases d'airain ; et leurs chapiteaux ainsi que leurs ornements étaient d'argent. | 19 And the pillars in the entry were four with sockets of brass, and their heads and gravings of silver. |
| 20 Il fit aussi des pieux d'airain pour mettre tout autour du tabernacle et du parvis. | 20 The pins also of the tabernacle and of the court round about he made of brass. |
| 21 Ce sont là toutes les parties qui composaient le tabernacle du témoignage, que Moïse commanda à Ithamar, fils d'Aaron le grand-prêtre, de donner par compte aux Lévites, afin qu'ils en fussent chargés. | 21 These are the instruments of the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted according to the commandment of Moses, in the ceremonies of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar son of Aaron the priest: |

| 23 Il eut pour compagnon Ooliab, fils d'Achisamech, de la tribu de Dan, qui savait aussi travailler excellemment en bois, en étoffes tissées de fils de différentes couleurs, et en broderie d'hyacinthe, de pourpre, d'écarlate et de fin lin. | 23 Having for his companion Ooliab the son of Achisamech of the tribe of Dan: who also was an excellent artificer in wood, and worker in tapestry and embroidery in violet, purple, scarlet, and fine linen. |
| 24 Tout l'or qui fut employé pour les ouvrages du sanctuaire, et qui fut offert à Dieu dans les dons volontaires du peuple, était de vingt-neuf talents et de sept cent trente sicles, selon la mesure du sanctuaire. | 24 All the gold that was spent in the work of the sanctuary, and that was offered in gifts was nine and twenty talents, and seven hundred and thirty sicles according to the standard of the sanctuary. |
| 25 (Or) Ces oblations furent faites par ceux qui entrèrent dans le dénombrement, ayant vingt ans et au-dessus, et qui étaient au nombre de six cent trois mille cinq cent cinquante hommes portant les armes. | 25 And it was offered by them that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upwards, of six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty men able to bear arms. |
| 26 Il y eut de plus cent talents d'argent, dont furent faites les bases du sanctuaire et l'entrée où le voile était suspendu. | 26 There were moreover a hundred talents of silver, whereof were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and of the entry where the veil hangeth. |
| 27 Il fit cent bases de cent talents ; chaque base était d'un talent. | 27 A hundred sockets were made of a hundred talents, one talent being reckoned for every socket. |
| 28 (Mais) Il employa mille sept cent soixante-quinze sicles d'argent aux chapiteaux des colonnes, et il revêtit ces mêmes colonnes (de lames) d'argent. | 28 And of the thousand seven hundred and seventy-five he made the heads of the pillars, which also he overlaid with silver. |
| 29 On offrit aussi soixante-dix talents d'airain et deux mille quatre cents sicles, | 29 And there were offered of brass also seventy-two thousand talents, and four hundred sicles besides. |
| 30 qui furent employés à faire les bases à l'entrée du tabernacle du témoignage, et l'autel d'airain avec sa grille, et tous les vases qui devaient servir à son usage, | 30 Of which were cast the sockets in the entry of the tabernacle of the testimony, and the altar of brass with the grate thereof, and all the vessels that belong to the use thereof. |
| 31 et les bases du parvis qui étaient tout autour et à l'entrée, avec les pieux qui s'employaient autour du tabernacle et du parvis. | 31 And the sockets of the court as well round about as in the entry thereof, and the pins of the tabernacle and of the court round about. |
