Nehemías 11

Biblia Sagrada	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Los príncipes del pueblo se establecieron en Jerusalén. En relación con el resto del pueblo, se echó a suertes para que, de cada diez hombres, uno viniese a vivir a Jerusalén, la ciudad santa, quedando los otros nueve en las ciudades.	1 Now the leaders of the people took up residence in Jerusalem; so the rest of the people drew lots: oneman in ten was to come and live in Jerusalem, the holy city, while the other nine were to stay in the townsoutside.
2 El pueblo bendijo a todos los que se ofrecían voluntarios para vivir en Jerusalén.	2 The people praised al those who volunteered to live in Jerusalem.
3 Estos son los jefes de las provincias que se establecieron en Jerusalén y en las ciudades de Judá. Cada uno se estableció en su propiedad, en sus poblaciones respectivas de Israel: sacerdotes, levitas, donados del templo y descendientes de los siervos de Salomón.	3 In the towns of Judah each man lived on his own property, but these are the provincial leaders, theIsraelites, the priests, the Levites, the temple slaves and the descendants of Solomon's slaves, who made theirhomes in Jerusalem:
4 En Jerusalén se establecieron algunos de Judá y de Benjamín. De Judá: Ataías, hijo de Uzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sefatías, hijo de Mahaleel, descendientes de Fares;	4 Of the sons of Judah and the sons of Benjamin who made their homes in Jerusalem there were: Ofthe sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son ofMehalalel, of the descendants of Perez;

13 y sus hermanos cabezas de familia: doscientos cuarenta y dos; y Amasay, hijo de Azarel, hijo de Ajzay, hijo de Mesilemot, hijo de Imer,	13 and his kinsfolk, heads of families: two hundred and forty-two; and Amashai son of Azarel, son ofAhzai, son of Meshil emoth, son of Immer,
14 y sus hermanos, gente preparada: ciento veintiocho. Su jefe era Zabdiel, hijo de Hagadol.	14 and his kinsfolk, outstanding people: one hundred and twenty-eight. Their chief was Zabdiel son ofHaggadol.
15 De los levitas: Semaías, hijo de Jasub, hijo de Azricán, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Buní;	15 Of the Levites there were Shemaiah son of Hasshub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son ofBunni;
16 Sabtay y Yozabab, jefes de los levitas, que estaban al frente de los asuntos exteriores del templo de Dios;	16 Shabbethai and Jozabad, the levitical leaders responsible for work outside the Temple of God;

20 El resto de Israel, los sacerdotes y los levitas vivían en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su propiedad.	20 The rest of Israel, including the priests and Levites, made their homes throughout the towns ofJudah, each man on his own inheritance,
21 Los donados del templo residían en el Ófel. Sijá y Guispá eran los jefes de los donados del templo.	21 The temple slaves lived on Ophel; Ziha and Gishpa were in charge of the temple slaves.
22 En Jerusalén, el jefe de los levitas era Uzí, hijo de Baní, hijo de Jasabías, hijo de Matanías, hijo de Micá, de los descendientes de Asaf, que eran cantores al servicio del templo de Dios.	22 The official in charge of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son ofMattaniah, son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, who led the singing in the liturgy of the Temple of God;

27 en Jasar Sual, Berseba y sus aldeas vecinas;	27 Hazar-Shual, Beersheba and its dependencies,
28 en Sicelag, Meconá y sus aldeas vecinas;	28 Ziklag, Meconah and its dependencies,
29 en Ein Rimón, Orea y Yarmut;	29 En-Rimmon, Zorah, Jarmuth,
30 en Zanóaj, Adulán y sus villas; en Laquis y sus campos; en Azecá y sus aldeas vecinas. Así habitaron desde Berseba hasta el valle de Hinnón.	30 Zanoah, Adullam and their vil ages, Lachish and its lands, and Azekah and its dependencies; thus,they settled from Beersheba as far as the Val ey of Hinnom.
31 Por su parte, los descendientes de Benjamín se establecieron en Guibeá, Micmás, Ayá, Betel y sus aldeas vecinas;	31 And some Benjaminites made their homes in Geba, Michmash, Aija, Bethel and its dependencies,
32 en Anatot, Nob, Ananías,	32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 Jasor, Ramá, Guitayin,	33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 Jadid, Seboín y Nebalat;	34 Hadid, Zeboim, Nebal at,
35 en Lod, Onó y el valle de los Artesanos.	35 Lod, Ono and the Valley of Craftsmen.
36 De los levitas había grupos en Judá y Benjamín.	36 Some levitical groups lived in Judah, some in Benjamin.
