1 Del maestro de coro. Al estilo de Iedutún. Salmo de David.	1 To the choirmaster: according to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation.
2 Sólo en Dios descansa mi alma, de él me viene la salvación.	2 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly moved.
3 Sólo él es mi Roca salvadora; él es mi baluarte: nunca vacilaré.	3 How long will you set upon a man to shatter him, all of you, like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
4 ¿Hasta cuándo se ensañarán con un hombre para derribarlo entre todos, como si fuera un muro inclinado o un cerco que está por derrumbarse?	4 They only plan to thrust him down from his eminence. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse. [Selah]
5 Sólo piensan en menoscabar mi dignidad y se complacen en la mentira; bendicen con la boca y maldicen con el corazón.	5 For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him.
6 Sólo en Dios descansa mi alma, de él me viene la esperanza.	6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 Sólo él es mi Roca salvadora, él es mi baluarte: nunca vacilaré.	7 On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is God.
8 Mi salvación y mi gloria están en Dios: él es mi Roca firme, en Dios está mi refugio.	8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. [Selah]
9 Confíen en Dios constantemente, ustedes, que son su pueblo, desahoguen en él su corazón, porque Dios es nuestro refugio.	9 Men of low estate are but a breath, men of high estate are a delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Los hombres no son más que un soplo, los poderosos son sólo una ficción: puestos todos juntos en una balanza, pesarían menos que el viento.	10 Put no confidence in extortion, set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not your heart on them.
11 No se fíen de la violencia, ni se ilusionen con lo robado; aunque se acrecienten las riquezas no pongan el corazón en ellas.	11 Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God;
12 Dios ha dicho una cosa, dos cosas yo escuché: que el poder pertenece a Dios,	12 and that to thee, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For thou dost requite a man according to his work.
13 y a ti, Señor, la misericordia. Porque tú retribuyes a cada uno según sus acciones.
