Zacarías 2

BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Alcé luego mis ojos y tuve una visión: Eran cuatro cuernos.	1 Then, raising my eyes, I had a vision. It was this: There were four horns.
2 Y dije al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué son éstos?» Me dijo: «Son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá (a Israel) y a Jerusalén».	2 I said to the angel who was talking to me, 'What are these?' He said to me, 'These are the horns whichscattered Judah (Israel) and Jerusalem.'
3 Yahveh me hizo ver después cuatro herreros.	3 Yahweh then showed me four smiths.
4 Y dije: «¿Qué vienen a hacer éstos?» El habló y dijo: «(Aquellos son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá, hasta que nadie osó levantar cabeza.) Y éstos han venido a espantarlos (a abatir los cuernos de las naciones que alzaron el cuerno contra la tierra de Judá para dispersarla)».	4 And I said, 'What are these coming to do?' He said to me, '(Those horns scattered Judah so completelythat no one dared to raise his head; but) these have come to terrify them, to throw down the horns of the nationswho raised their horns over the land of Judah to scatter it.'
5 Alcé los ojos y tuve una visión: Era un hombre con una cuerda de medir en la mano.	5 Then, raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a man with a measuring line in his hand.
6 Le dije: «¿A dónde vas?» Me dijo: «A medir a Jerusalén, a ver cuánta es su anchura y cuánta su longitud».	6 I asked him, 'Where are you going?' He said, 'To measure Jerusalem, to calculate her width and length.'
7 En esto, salió el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y otro ángel salió a su encuentro	7 And then, while the angel who was talking to me walked away, another angel came out to meet him.
8 y le dijo: «Corre, habla a ese joven y dile: Como las ciudades abiertas será habitada Jerusalén, debido a la multitud de hombres y ganados que habrá dentro de ella.	8 He said to him, 'Run, and tell that young man this, "Jerusalem is to remain unwal ed, because of the great number of men and cattle inside.
9 Y yo seré para ella - oráculo de Yahveh - muralla de fuego en torno, y dentro de ella seré gloria».	9 For I -- Yahweh declares -- shal be a wall of fire al round her and I shal be the Glory within her." '
10 ¡Hala, hala, huid del país del Norte - oráculo de Yahveh, - ya que a los cuatro vientos del cielo os esparcí yo! - oráculo de Yahveh -	10 Look out! Look out! Flee from the land of the north -- Yahweh declares- for I have scattered you to thefour winds of heaven -- Yahweh declares.
11 ¡Hala, sálvate, Sión, tú que moras en Babilonia!	11 Look out! Make your escape, Zion, now living with the daughter of Babylon!
12 Pues así dice Yahveh Sebaot que tras la gloria me ha enviado a las naciones que os despojaron: «El que os toca a vosotros a la niña de mi ojo toca».	12 For Yahweh Sabaoth says this, since the Glory commissioned me, about the nations who plunderedyou, 'Whoever touches you touches the apple of my eye.
13 He aquí que yo alzo mi mano contra ellas, y serán despojo de sus mismos esclavos. Sabréis así que Yahveh Sebaot me ha enviado.	13 Now look, I shal wave my hand over them and they wil be plundered by those whom they haveenslaved.' Then you wil know that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me!
14 Grita de gozo y regocíjate, hija de Sión, pues he aquí que yo vengo a morar dentro de ti, oráculo de Yahveh.	14 Sing, rejoice, daughter of Zion, for now I am coming to live among you -Yahweh declares!
15 Muchas naciones se unirán a Yahveh aquel día: serán para mí un pueblo, y yo moraré en medio de ti. Sabrás así que Yahveh Sebaot me ha enviado a ti.	15 And on that day many nations will be converted to Yahweh. Yes, they wil become his people, and theywil live among you. Then you wil know that Yahweh Sabaoth has sent me to you!
16 Poseerá Yahveh a Judá, porción suya en la Tierra Santa, y elegirá de nuevo a Jerusalén.	16 Yahweh wil take possession of Judah, his portion in the Holy Land, and again make Jerusalem hischoice.
17 ¡Silencio, toda carne, delante de Yahveh, porque él se despierta de su santa Morada!	17 Let al people be silent before Yahweh, now that he is stirring from his holy Dwel ing!
