Ezechiele 4

BIBBIA TINTORI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 E tu, o figlio dell'uomo, prendi un mattone, ponitelo davanti, o disegnavi la città di Gerusalemme.	1 'For your part, son of man, take a brick and lay it in front of you; on it scratch a city, Jerusalem.
2 Disponi contro di lei un assedio, drizza le torri, alza le trincee, metti contro di essa gli accampamenti e metti all'intorno gli arieti.	2 You are then to besiege it, trench round it, build earthworks, pitch camps and bring up battering-rams alround.
3 Poi prendi una padella di ferro e mettila come un muro di ferro fra te e la città, e fisserai la tua faccia contro di lei, e sarà assediata, e tu la circonderai. Ciò è un segno per la casa d'Israele.	3 Then take an iron pan and place it as though it were an iron wal between you and the city. Then fixyour gaze on it; it is being besieged and you are besieging it. This is a sign for the House of Israel.
4 E tu dormirai sul tuo lato sinistro, e metterai su esso l'iniquità della casa d'Israele, secondo il numero dei giorni che dormirai su tal lato, e prenderai su di te le loro iniquità.	4 'Lie down on your left side and take the guilt of the House of Israel on yourself. You wil bear their guiltfor as many days as you lie on that side.
5 Or io t'ho dato il numero degli anni della loro iniquità col numero di trecento novanta giorni, e tu porterai l'iniquità della casa d'Israele.	5 Allowing one day for every year of their guilt, I ordain that you bear it for three hundred and ninety days;this is how you wil bear the House of Israel's guilt.
6 E quando tu avrai fatto questo, dormirai sopra il tuo lato destro, e prenderai sopra di te l'iniquità della casa di Giuda per quaranta giorni, un giorno per anno, ti ho assegnato, dico, un giorno per anno.	6 And when you have finished doing this, you are to lie down again, on your right side, and bear the guiltof the House of Judah for forty days. I have set the length for you as one day for one year.
7 E rivolgerai la tua faccia all'assediata Gerusalemme, e, steso il tuo braccio, profeterai contro di lei.	7 Then fix your gaze on the siege of Jerusalem, raise your bared arm and prophesy against her.
8 Ecco che io ti ho cinto di catene, e tu non potrai volgere da un lato all'altro, finché non avrai compiti i giorni del tuo assedio.	8 Look, I am going to tie you up and you wil not be able to turn over from one side to the other until theperiod of your seclusion is over.
9 Prendi del grano, orzo, fave, lenticchie, miglio e vecce, e metti queste cose in un vaso, e fanne per te dei pani secondo il numero dei giorni nei quali dormirai sul tuo fianco, e ne mangerai per trecento novanta giorni.	9 'Now take wheat, barley, beans, lentils, mil et and spelt; put them al in the same pot and make theminto bread for yourself. You are to eat it for as many days as you are lying on your side -- three hundred andninety days.
10 Quello che tu mangerai per tuo nutrimento sarà del peso di venti stateri per giorno, e lo mangerai di tempo in tempo.	10 Of this food, you are to weigh out a daily portion of twenty shekels and eat it a little piece at a time.
11 Ed anche l'acqua la beverai a misura, la sesta parte di un hin, e la beverai di tempo in tempo.	11 And you are to ration the water you drink -- a sixth of a hin -- drinking that a little at a time.
12 E (il pane) lo mangerai come quello d'orzo, cotto sotto la cenere, e sotto i loro occhi lo coprirai con escrementi umani ».	12 You are to eat this in the form of a barley cake baked where they can see you, on human dung.'
13 E il Signore disse: « Così i figli d'Israele mangeranno il loro pane immondo tra le nazioni ove li caccerò ».	13 And Yahweh said, 'This is how the Israelites wil have to eat their defiled food, wherever I dispersethem among the nations.'
14 E io dissi: « Ah! ah! ah! Signore Dio, ecco l'anima mia non è contaminata e dalla mia infanzia fino ad ora non ho mai mangiato animale morto da sè, o sbranato dalle fiere, e mai carne immonda è entrata nella mia bocca ».	14 I then said, 'Lord Yahweh, my soul is not defiled. From my childhood until now, I have never eaten ananimal that has died a natural death or been savaged; no tainted meat has ever entered my mouth.'
15 Ed egli mi disse: « Ecco, invece d'escrementi umani, ti assegno sterco di bue, con questo farai (cuocere) il tuo pane».	15 'Very wel ,' he said, 'I grant you cow-dung instead of human dung; you are to bake your bread on that.'
16 E mi disse: «Figlio dell'uomo, ecco ch'io torrò a Gerusalemme il sostentamento del pane e mangeranno il pane a peso e nell'ansietà, e berranno l'acqua a misura e nell'angoscia;	16 He then said, 'Son of man, I am going to cut off Jerusalem's food supply; in their extremity, the foodthey eat wil be weighed out; to their horror, the water they drink wil be rationed,
17 fino a che, mancato il pane e l'acqua, ognuno caschi addosso all'altro, e si consumino nella oro iniquità ».	17 until there is no food or water left, and they fall into a stupor and waste away because of their guilt.'
