1 A Psalm of David. I give thee thanks, O LORD, with my whole heart; before the gods I sing thy praise;	1 De (A) David (ou de David lui-même). Je vous célébrerai (glorifierai), Seigneur, de tout mon cœur, parce que vous avez écouté les paroles de ma bouche. Je vous chanterai des hymnes en présence des anges ;
2 I bow down toward thy holy temple and give thanks to thy name for thy steadfast love and thy faithfulness; for thou hast exalted above everything thy name and thy word.	2 j'adorerai dans (en me tournant vers) votre saint temple, et je célébrerai (glorifierai) votre nom, à cause de votre miséricorde et de votre vérité, car vous avez glorifié (élevé) votre saint nom au-dessus de tout.
3 On the day I called, thou didst answer me, my strength of soul thou didst increase.	3 En quelque jour que je vous invoque, exaucez-moi ; vous augmenterez la force de (en) mon âme.
4 All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, for they have heard the words of thy mouth;	4 Que tous les rois de la terre vous célèbrent (glorifient), Seigneur, parce qu'ils ont entendu toutes les paroles de votre bouche.
5 and they shall sing of the ways of the LORD, for great is the glory of the LORD.	5 Et qu'ils chantent (dans) les voies du Seigneur, car la gloire du Seigneur est grande.
6 For though the LORD is high, he regards the lowly; but the haughty he knows from afar.	6 Car le Seigneur est (très) élevé, et il regarde les choses basses, et (c'est) de loin (qu') il connaît les choses hautes.
7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou dost preserve my life; thou dost stretch out thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand delivers me.	7 Si je marche au milieu de la tribulation, vous me rendrez (donnerez) la vie ; vous avez étendu votre main contre la fureur de mes ennemis, et votre droite m'a sauvé.
8 The LORD will fulfil his purpose for me; thy steadfast love, O LORD, endures for ever. Do not forsake the work of thy hands.	8 Le Seigneur me vengera (rétribuera pour moi). Seigneur, votre miséricorde est éternelle ; ne méprisez pas les œuvres de vos mains.
