1 Magistro chori. Filiorum Core. Psalmus.	1 For the leader. A psalm of the Korahites.
2 Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus, iubilate Deo in voce exsultationis,	2 All you peoples, clap your hands; shout to God with joyful cries.
3 quoniam Dominus Altissimus, terribilis, rex magnus super omnem terram.	3 For the LORD, the Most High, inspires awe, the great king overall the earth,
4 Subiecit populos nobis et gentes sub pedibus nostris.	4 Who made people subject to us, brought nations under our feet,
5 Elegit nobis hereditatem nostram, gloriam Iacob, quem dilexit.	5 Who chose a land for our heritage, the glory of Jacob, the beloved. Selah
6 Ascendit Deus in iubilo, et Dominus in voce tubae.	6 God mounts the throne amid shouts of joy; the LORD, amid trumpet blasts.
7 Psallite Deo, psallite; psallite regi nostro, psallite.	7 Sing praise to God, sing praise; sing praise to our king, sing praise.
8 Quoniam rex omnis terrae Deus, psallite sapienter.	8 God is king over all the earth; sing hymns of praise.
9 Regnavit Deus super gentes, Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam.	9 God rules over the nations; God sits upon his holy throne.
10 Principes populorum congregati sunt cum populo Dei Abraham, quoniam Dei sunt scuta terrae: vehementer elevatus est.	10 The princes of the peoples assemble with the people of the God of Abraham. For the rulers of the earth belong to God, who is enthroned on high.
