2 Thessalonians 1

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
	1 Pál, Szilvánusz és Timóteus a tesszalonikiek egyházának, amely Istenben, a mi Atyánkban és az Úr Jézus Krisztusban él.
2 Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	2 Kegyelem és békesség nektek Istentől, a mi Atyánktól, és az Úr Jézus Krisztustól!
3 We must always thank God for you, brothers; quite rightly, because your faith is growing so wonderfullyand the mutual love that each one of you has for al never stops increasing.	3 Mindig hálaadással tartozunk Istennek értetek, testvérek, méghozzá méltán, mert a hitetek komolyan erősödik, és az egymás iránti szeretet mindnyájatokban gyarapszik,
4 Among the churches of God we take special pride in you for your perseverance and faith under al thepersecutions and hardships you have to bear.	4 annyira, hogy dicsekszünk is veletek Isten egyházaiban, béketűrésetekkel és hitetekkel, amellyel minden üldözést és viszontagságot elviseltek.
5 It al shows that God's judgement is just, so that you may be found worthy of the kingdom of God; it isfor the sake of this that you are suffering now.	5 Isten igazságos ítéletének a jelei ezek, hogy méltónak találjanak benneteket Isten országára, ha meg is szenvedtek érte.
6 For God's justice wil surely mean hardship being inflicted on those who are now inflicting hardship onyou,	6 Mert igazságos dolog Isten előtt, hogy szorongatással fizessen azoknak, akik titeket szorongatnak,
7 and for you who are now suffering hardship, relief with us, when the Lord Jesus appears from heavenwith the angels of his power.	7 és nyugalommal velünk együtt nektek, a szorongatottaknak, amikor az Úr Jézus megjelenik az égből hatalmának angyalaival,
8 He wil come amid flaming fire; he wil impose a penalty on those who do not acknowledge God andrefuse to accept the gospel of our Lord Jesus.	8 tűz lángjában, és bosszút áll azokon, akik nem ismerik Istent, s nem engedelmeskednek Urunk, Jézus evangéliumának.
9 Their punishment is to be lost eternal y, excluded from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength	9 Ezeket a kárhozatban örök büntetéssel sújtja az Úr színe és hatalmának dicsősége ,
10 on that day when he comes to be glorified among his holy ones and marvelled at by al who believe inhim; and you are among those who believed our witness.	10 amikor eljön azon a napon, hogy megdicsőüljön szentjeiben, és megcsodálják mindazokban, akik hittek; nálatok ugyanis hitelre talált a tanúságtételünk.
11 In view of this we also pray continual y that our God wil make you worthy of his cal , and by his powerfulfil all your desires for goodness, and complete al that you have been doing through faith;	11 Ezért imádkozunk is mindig értetek, hogy Istenünk méltónak találjon titeket meghívására. Adjon beteljesedést a jóra irányuló minden készségnek és a hit erőteljes munkájának,
12 so that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you and you in him, by the grace of ourGod and the Lord Jesus Christ.	12 hogy Urunk, Jézus Krisztus neve megdicsőüljön bennetek, és ti is őbenne, Istenünk és az Úr Jézus Krisztus kegyelméből.
