Joel 4

NEW JERUSALEM	Біблія
1 'For in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,	1 Ось бо в ті дні й того часу, коли заверну бранців Юди та Єрусалиму,
2 I shall gather all the nations together and take them down to the Val ey of Jehoshaphat; there I shal putthem on trial because of Israel, my people and my heritage, for having scattered them among the nations andhaving divided my land among themselves.	2 зберу всі народи і поведу їх вниз у Йосафатову долину. Там учиню суд над ними за мій народ та за моє спадкоємство — Ізраїля; вони бо його між народами порозкидали і край мій розділили.
3 They drew lots for my people, bartering a boy for a whore and sel ing a girl for wine to drink.	3 Вони на мій народ кидали жереб, міняли хлопця за блудницю й дівчаток продавали за вино, і пили.
4 'And what are you to me, Tyre and Sidon and al you regions of Philistia? Can you take revenge on me?If you take revenge on me, I shal quickly, instantly, make your revenge recoil on your own heads	4 Та й ви, о Тире та Сидоне, чого ви хочете від мене? І ви, усі округи Філістії? Може, ви хочете помститися на мені? Але якби ви й помстилися на мені, я раптом вашу помсту вмить вам на голову повернув би!
5 for having taken my silver and gold away and carried off my valuable treasures to your temples,	5 Ви, що забрали моє золото та срібло, що занесли мої дорогоцінні скарби в храми ваші.
6 and for having sold the children of Judah and Jerusalem to the Ionians, to be taken far away from theirown frontiers.	6 Ви, що синів Юди та синів Єрусалиму продавали грекам, щоб запроторити їх далеко від їхнього краю!
7 Look, I shal rouse them from the places to which you have sold them; I shall make your actions recoilon your own heads	7 Та ось я їх підніму з того місця, куди ви їх продали; і поверну вам на голову злочин ваш!
8 by sel ing your sons and daughters to the sons of Judah, who in turn wil sel them to the Sabaeans, to anation far away- Yahweh has spoken!'	8 Продам ваших синів і дочок ваших у руки синів Юди, а ці їх продадуть савіям, народові далекому, — бо Господь мовив.
9 Proclaim this among the nations. Prepare for war! Rouse the champions! Al you troops, advance,march!	9 Оповістіть це між народами: «Готуйтесь до війни! Збудіть хоробрих! Хай виступають, хай рушають усі вояки!
10 Hammer your ploughshares into swords, your bil -hooks into spears; let the weakling say, 'I am tough!'	10 Куйте мечі з лемішів ваших, а з серпів ваших списи! Слабосильний нехай скаже: Я — сильний!
11 Hurry and come, al the nations around, and assemble there! (Yahweh, send down your champions!)	11 Спішіться, йдіть! Усі народи звідусіль, зберіться! Веди вниз, о Господи, твоїх хоробрих!
12 'Let the nations rouse themselves and march to the Val ey of Jehoshaphat, for there I shal sit injudgement on all the nations around.	12 Нехай рушають, нехай зійдуть народи в Йосафатову долину! Бо там сяду я судити всі народи звідусюди.
13 Ply the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come and tread, for the winepress is full; the vats are overflowing,so great is their wickedness!'	13 Пускайте в рух серпи, бо наспіло жниво. Ідіть, топчіть, бо винотока повна; кухви переливаються, бо злоба їхня велика!
14 Multitude on multitude in the Valley of Decision! For the Day of Yahweh is near in the Val ey of theVerdict!	14 Натовп на натовпі в долині Суду! Бо близько день Господній у долині Суду!
15 Sun and moon grow dark, the stars lose their brilliance.	15 Сонце й місяць почорніли, світло зір гасне.
16 Yahweh roars from Zion, he thunders from Jerusalem; heaven and earth tremble. But Yahweh wil be ashelter for his people, a stronghold for the Israelites.	16 І загримить Господь із Сіону, дасть голос свій почути з Єрусалиму, і затремтить земля й небо! Але Господь буде прибіжищем для свого люду, і кріпостю для дітей Ізраїля.
17 'Then you will know that I am Yahweh your God residing on Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem wilthen be a sanctuary, no foreigners will overrun it ever again.'	17 Ви зрозумієте тоді, що я — Господь, Бог ваш, що живу на Сіоні, моїй святій горі. Єрусалим буде святим і чужинці не переходитимуть більш через нього.
18 When that Day comes, the mountains will run with new wine and the hil s wil flow with milk, and al thestream-beds of Judah will run with water. A fountain wil spring from Yahweh's Temple and water the Gorge ofthe Acacias.	18 Того часу гори закапають вином солодким, а горби молоком тектимуть, і всі потоки у Юдеї потечуть водою. Джерело з дому Господнього проб’ється і зрошуватиме Шіттім-долину.
19 Egypt wil become a desolation, and Edom a desert waste on account of the violence done to thechildren of Judah whose innocent blood they shed in their country.	19 Єгипет румовищем стане, Едом — безлюдним диким краєм за насильство над синами Юди; за те, що неповинну кров на їхній землі пролили.
20 But Judah wil be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation!	20 Юда ж буде заселений повіки, і Єрусалим від роду і до роду.
21 'I shal avenge their blood and let none go unpunished,' and Yahweh wil dwell in Zion.	21 Я відплачу їхню кров, без кари не залишу. І Господь житиме на Сіоні.
