Joel 4

NEW JERUSALEM	KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA
1 'For in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem,	1 Mert íme, azokban a napokban és abban az időben, amikor majd jóra fordítom Júda és Jeruzsálem sorsát,
2 I shall gather all the nations together and take them down to the Val ey of Jehoshaphat; there I shal putthem on trial because of Israel, my people and my heritage, for having scattered them among the nations andhaving divided my land among themselves.	2 összegyűjtöm az összes nemzetet, leviszem őket Jozafát völgyébe, s ott perbe szállok velük népemért, és örökségemért, Izraelért: mert szétszórták a nemzetek között, és szétosztották földemet,
3 They drew lots for my people, bartering a boy for a whore and sel ing a girl for wine to drink.	3 és sorsot vetettek népem fölött, és odaadták a fiút, parázna nőért cserébe, s eladták a leányt borért, hogy igyanak.
4 'And what are you to me, Tyre and Sidon and al you regions of Philistia? Can you take revenge on me?If you take revenge on me, I shal quickly, instantly, make your revenge recoil on your own heads	4 Mi közünk egymáshoz, Tírusz és Szidon, s a filiszteusok minden tartománya? Vajon bosszút akartok-e állni rajtam? Ha pedig bosszút akartok állni rajtam, csakhamar visszafordítom szándékotokat a saját fejetekre!
5 for having taken my silver and gold away and carried off my valuable treasures to your temples,	5 Hiszen ti aranyomat és ezüstömet elvittétek, és kincseimet meg ékességeimet bevittétek templomaitokba.
6 and for having sold the children of Judah and Jerusalem to the Ionians, to be taken far away from theirown frontiers.	6 Júda fiait meg Jeruzsálem fiait eladtátok a görögök fiainak, hogy messzire vigyétek őket határaiktól.
7 Look, I shal rouse them from the places to which you have sold them; I shall make your actions recoilon your own heads	7 Íme, én visszahívom őket azokról a helyekről, ahová eladtátok őket, és fejetekre hárítom gonoszságotokat.
8 by sel ing your sons and daughters to the sons of Judah, who in turn wil sel them to the Sabaeans, to anation far away- Yahweh has spoken!'	8 És fiaitokat meg leányaitokat Júda fiainak kezébe adom, és eladják őket Sába lakóinak, a távoli nemzetnek – mert az Úr szólt.
9 Proclaim this among the nations. Prepare for war! Rouse the champions! Al you troops, advance,march!	9 Hirdessétek ezt fennszóval a nemzetek között, hirdessetek szent háborút; serkentsétek fel a hősöket, jöjjenek elő, jöjjenek fel mind a harcosok!
10 Hammer your ploughshares into swords, your bil -hooks into spears; let the weakling say, 'I am tough!'	10 Verjétek ekevasaitokat kardokká, és kapáitokat lándzsákká; mondja az erőtlen is: »Hős vagyok!«
11 Hurry and come, al the nations around, and assemble there! (Yahweh, send down your champions!)	11 Törjetek elő és jöjjetek el, ti nemzetek mindnyájan körös-körül, és gyűljetek egybe: vezesd elő, Uram, vitézeidet!
12 'Let the nations rouse themselves and march to the Val ey of Jehoshaphat, for there I shal sit injudgement on all the nations around.	12 Keljenek fel, jöjjenek fel a nemzetek Jozafát völgyébe, mert ott ülök ítéletet körös-körül minden nemzet felett.
13 Ply the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; come and tread, for the winepress is full; the vats are overflowing,so great is their wickedness!'	13 Eresszétek neki a sarlót, mert megérett a vetés; jöjjetek, jöjjetek taposni, mert tele van a sajtó, túláradnak a sajtók, mivel megsokasodott az ő gonoszságuk.
14 Multitude on multitude in the Valley of Decision! For the Day of Yahweh is near in the Val ey of theVerdict!	14 Népek népek után jelennek meg a Döntés völgyében, mert közel van az Úr napja a Döntés völgyében!
15 Sun and moon grow dark, the stars lose their brilliance.	15 Nap és hold elsötétednek, és a csillagok visszatartják fényüket.
16 Yahweh roars from Zion, he thunders from Jerusalem; heaven and earth tremble. But Yahweh wil be ashelter for his people, a stronghold for the Israelites.	16 És bömböl az Úr Sionról, és hallatja szavát Jeruzsálemből; és megrendül az ég és a föld, de népének menedék az Úr, és Izrael fiainak erősség.
17 'Then you will know that I am Yahweh your God residing on Zion, my holy mountain. Jerusalem wilthen be a sanctuary, no foreigners will overrun it ever again.'	17 Akkor majd megtudjátok, hogy én, az Úr vagyok a ti Istenetek, aki szent hegyemen, a Sionon lakom; és Jeruzsálem szent lesz, és idegenek nem vonulnak át többé rajta.
18 When that Day comes, the mountains will run with new wine and the hil s wil flow with milk, and al thestream-beds of Judah will run with water. A fountain wil spring from Yahweh's Temple and water the Gorge ofthe Acacias.	18 És azon a napon a hegyek édes musttól csepegnek, s a halmokon tej folyik. Júda minden patakjában víz ömlik, forrás fakad az Úr házából, és megöntözi a Tövisek völgyét.
19 Egypt wil become a desolation, and Edom a desert waste on account of the violence done to thechildren of Judah whose innocent blood they shed in their country.	19 Egyiptom pusztasággá lesz, és Edom kietlen sivataggá, mert gonoszságot cselekedtek Júda fiai ellen, és ártatlan vért ontottak földjükön.
20 But Judah wil be inhabited for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation!	20 De lakott lesz majd Júda mindörökké, és Jeruzsálem nemzedékről nemzedékre.
21 'I shal avenge their blood and let none go unpunished,' and Yahweh wil dwell in Zion.	21 Megbosszulom vérüket, nem hagyom büntetés nélkül. És az Úr majd a Sionon lakik.
