Hosea 14

1 Samaria will pay the penalty for having rebel ed against her God. They wil fall by the sword, their littlechildren wil be dashed to pieces and their pregnant women disembowelled.	1 (14-2) Обратись, Израиль, к Господу Богу твоему; ибо ты упал от нечестия твоего.
2 Israel, come back to Yahweh your God your guilt was the cause of your downfal .	2 (14-3) Возьмите с собою [молитвенные] слова и обратитесь к Господу; говорите Ему: 'отними всякое беззаконие и прими во благо, и мы принесем жертву уст наших.
3 Provide yourself with words and come back to Yahweh. Say to him, 'Take all guilt away and give uswhat is good, instead of bulls we wil dedicate to you our lips.	3 (14-4) Ассур не будет уже спасать нас; не станем садиться на коня и не будем более говорить изделию рук наших: боги наши; потому что у Тебя милосердие для сирот'.
4 Assyria cannot save us, we will not ride horses any more, or say, "Our God!" to our own handiwork, foryou are the one in whom orphans find compassion.'	4 (14-5) Уврачую отпадение их, возлюблю их по благоволению; ибо гнев Мой отвратился от них.
5 I shal cure them of their disloyalty, I shal love them with all my heart, for my anger has turned awayfrom them.	5 (14-6) Я буду росою для Израиля; он расцветет, как лилия, и пустит корни свои, как Ливан.
6 I shal fal like dew on Israel, he wil bloom like the lily and thrust out roots like the cedar of Lebanon;	6 (14-7) Расширятся ветви его, и будет красота его, как маслины, и благоухание от него, как от Ливана.
7 he will put out new shoots, he will have the beauty of the olive tree and the fragrance of Lebanon.	7 (14-8) Возвратятся сидевшие под тенью его, будут изобиловать хлебом, и расцветут, как виноградная лоза, славны будут, как вино Ливанское.
8 They will come back to live in my shade; they will grow wheat again, they wil make the vine flourish, their wine will be as famous as Lebanon's.	8 (14-9) 'Что мне еще за дело до идолов?' --скажет Ефрем. --Я услышу его и призрю на него; Я буду как зеленеющий кипарис; от Меня будут тебе плоды.
9 What has Ephraim to do with idols any more when I hear him and watch over him? I am like anevergreen cypress, you owe your fruitfulness to me.	9 (14-10) Кто мудр, чтобы разуметь это? кто разумен, чтобы познать это? Ибо правы пути Господни, и праведники ходят по ним, а беззаконные падут на них.
10 Let the wise understand these words, let the intel igent grasp their meaning, for Yahweh's ways arestraight and the upright wil walk in them, but sinners wil stumble.
