Hosea 1

NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 The word of Yahweh which came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz andHezekiah kings of Judah, and of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.	1 قول الرب الذي صار الى هوشع بن بئيري في ايام عزيا ويوثام وآحاز وحزقيا ملوك يهوذا وفي ايام يربعام بن يوآش ملك اسرائيل
2 The beginning of what Yahweh said through Hosea: Yahweh said to Hosea, 'Go, marry a whore, andget children with a whore; for the country itself has become nothing but a whore by abandoning Yahweh.'	2 اول ما كلّم الرب هوشع قال الرب لهوشع اذهب خذ لنفسك امرأة زنى واولاد زنى لان الارض قد زنت زنى تاركة الرب.
3 So he went and married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son.	3 فذهب واخذ جومر بنت دبلايم فحبلت وولدت له ابنا.
4 Yahweh then said to him, 'Call him Jezreel, for in a little while I shal punish the House of Jehu for thebloodshed at Jezreel and put an end to the sovereignty of the House of Israel.	4 فقال له الرب ادع اسمه يزرعيل لانني بعد قليل اعاقب بيت ياهو على دم يزرعيل وابيد مملكة بيت اسرائيل.
5 When that day comes, I shal break the bow of Israel in the Val ey of Jezreel.'	5 ويكون في ذلك اليوم اني اكسر قوس اسرائيل في وادي يزرعيل
6 She conceived a second time and gave birth to a daughter. Yahweh then said to him, 'Cal her Lo-Ruhamah, for I shall show no more pity for the House of Israel, I shal never forgive them again.	6 ثم حبلت ايضا وولدت بنتا فقال له ادع اسمها لورحامة لاني لا اعود ارحم بيت اسرائيل ايضا بل انزعهم نزعا.
7 (Instead, I shal take pity on the House of Judah and shal save them, not by bow or sword or force ofarms, not by horses or horsemen, but by Yahweh their God.)'	7 واما بيت يهوذا فارحمهم واخلّصهم بالرب الههم ولا اخلّصهم بقوس وبسيف وبحرب وبخيل وبفرسان
8 After weaning Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.	8 ثم فطمت لورحامة وحبلت فولدت ابنا.
9 Yahweh said, 'Cal him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people and I do not exist for you.'	9 فقال ادع اسمه لوعمّي لانكم لستم شعبي وانا لا اكون لكم.
	10 لكن يكون عدد بني اسرائيل كرمل البحر الذي لا يكال ولا يعدّ ويكون عوضا عن ان يقال لهم لستم شعبي يقال لهم ابناء الله الحي.
	11 ويجمع بنو يهوذا وبنو اسرائيل معا ويجعلون لانفسهم راسا واحدا ويصعدون من الارض لان يوم يزرعيل عظيم
