Hosea 1

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 The word of Yahweh which came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz andHezekiah kings of Judah, and of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.	1 Parola del Signore, rivolta ad Osea, figlio di Beeri, al tempo di Ozia, di Iotam, di Acaz, di Ezechia re di Giuda e al tempo di Geroboamo, figlio di Ioas, re d'Israele.
2 The beginning of what Yahweh said through Hosea: Yahweh said to Hosea, 'Go, marry a whore, andget children with a whore; for the country itself has become nothing but a whore by abandoning Yahweh.'	2 Inizio del messagio del Signore per mezzo di Osea. Il Signore disse ad Osea: "Sposa una prostituta e genera figli della prostituta, perché il paese si è prostituito avendo abbandonato il Signore!".
3 So he went and married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son.	3 Egli andò e sposò Gomer, figlia di Diblaim; costei rimase incinta e gli partorì un figlio.
4 Yahweh then said to him, 'Call him Jezreel, for in a little while I shal punish the House of Jehu for thebloodshed at Jezreel and put an end to the sovereignty of the House of Israel.	4 Il Signore gli ordinò: "Chiamalo Izreèl; perché ancora un poco e farò scontare i massacri di Izreèl alla casa di Ieu e distruggerò il regno della casa d'Israele.
5 When that day comes, I shal break the bow of Israel in the Val ey of Jezreel.'	5 In quel giorno spezzerò l'arco d'Israele nella pianura di Izreèl".
6 She conceived a second time and gave birth to a daughter. Yahweh then said to him, 'Cal her Lo-Ruhamah, for I shall show no more pity for the House of Israel, I shal never forgive them again.	6 Gomer rimase incinta di nuovo e partorì una figlia. Il Signore gli ordinò: "Chiamala "Non-amata", perché non avrò più pietà della casa d'Israele, sicché abbia a perdonarli!
7 (Instead, I shal take pity on the House of Judah and shal save them, not by bow or sword or force ofarms, not by horses or horsemen, but by Yahweh their God.)'	7 Della casa di Giuda avrò pietà e li salverò nel Signore loro Dio; non li salverò con l'arco, con la spada, con la guerra, né con i cavalli e i cavalieri".
8 After weaning Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.	8 Quando ebbe divezzato Non-amata, concepì e partorì un figlio.
9 Yahweh said, 'Cal him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people and I do not exist for you.'	9 Disse: "Chiamalo "Non-popolo-mio", perché voi non siete il mio popolo e io non sono il vostro Dio!".
