Hosea 1

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 The word of Yahweh which came to Hosea son of Beeri during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz andHezekiah kings of Judah, and of Jeroboam son of Joash, king of Israel.	1 Palabra del Señor que fue dirigida a Oseas, hijo de Beerí, en tiempos de Ozías, de Jotam, de Ajaz y de Ezequías, reyes de Judá, y en tiempos de Jeroboam, hijo de Joás, rey de Israel.
2 The beginning of what Yahweh said through Hosea: Yahweh said to Hosea, 'Go, marry a whore, andget children with a whore; for the country itself has become nothing but a whore by abandoning Yahweh.'	2 Comienzo de lo que habló el Señor por medio de Oseas. El Señor le dijo: «Ve, toma por esposa a una mujer entregada a la prostitución, y engendra hijos de prostitución, porque el país no hace más que prostituirse, apartándose del Señor».
3 So he went and married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, who conceived and bore him a son.	3 El fue y tomó por esposa a Gómer, hija de Diblaim; ella concibió y le dio un hijo.
4 Yahweh then said to him, 'Call him Jezreel, for in a little while I shal punish the House of Jehu for thebloodshed at Jezreel and put an end to the sovereignty of the House of Israel.	4 Entonces el Señor dijo a Oseas: «Llámalo Izreel, porque dentro de poco tiempo pediré cuenta a la casa de Jehú por la sangre derramada en Izreel, y pondré fin al reinado de la casa de Israel.
5 When that day comes, I shal break the bow of Israel in the Val ey of Jezreel.'	5 Aquel día, yo quebraré el arco de Israel en el valle de Izreel».
6 She conceived a second time and gave birth to a daughter. Yahweh then said to him, 'Cal her Lo-Ruhamah, for I shall show no more pity for the House of Israel, I shal never forgive them again.	6 Ella concibió otra vez y dio a luz una hija. El Señor dijo a Oseas: «Llámala «No compadecida», porque ya no volveré a compadecerme de la casa de Israel, sino que les retiraré mi compasión.
7 (Instead, I shal take pity on the House of Judah and shal save them, not by bow or sword or force ofarms, not by horses or horsemen, but by Yahweh their God.)'	7 Pero me compadeceré de la casa de Judá, y los salvaré por medio del arco, ni de la espada, ni de las armas de guerra, ni tampoco por medio de caballos y jinetes».
8 After weaning Lo-Ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son.	8 Después que dejó de amamantar a «No compadecida», Gómer concibió y dio a luz un hijo.
9 Yahweh said, 'Cal him Lo-Ammi, for you are not my people and I do not exist for you.'	9 Entonces el Señor dijo: «Llámalo «No es mi pueblo», porque ustedes no son mi pueblo, ni yo seré para ustedes "El que es"».
