Ezekiel 43

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 He took me to the gate, the one facing east.	1 Mi condusse poi alla porta che è rivolta a oriente.
2 I saw the glory of the God of Israel approaching from the east. A sound came with him like the soundof the ocean, and the earth shone with his glory.	2 Ed ecco la Gloria del Signore venire da oriente. La sua voce era come il rumore delle grandi acque e la terra risplendeva per la sua Gloria.
3 This vision was like the one I had seen when I had come for the destruction of the city, and like theone I had seen by the River Chebar. Then I fell to the ground.	3 La visione che vidi appariva come quella che avevo visto quando venne per distruggere la città e come quella che avevo visto presso il canale Chebàr. Io caddi bocconi.
4 The glory of Yahweh arrived at the Temple by the east gate.	4 La Gloria del Signore venne nel santuario per la porta rivolta a oriente.
5 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; I saw the glory of Yahweh fil the Temple.	5 Lo spirito mi prese e mi condusse nel cortile interno: ecco la Gloria del Signore riempire il santuario!
6 And I heard someone speaking to me from the Temple while the man stood beside me.	6 E udii uno che mi parlava dal santuario, mentre l'uomo stava al mio fianco.
7 He said, 'Son of man, this is the dais of my throne, the step on which I rest my feet. I shall live hereamong the Israelites for ever; and the House of Israel, they and their kings, will never again defile my holy namewith their whorings and the corpses of their kings,	7 Mi disse: "Figlio dell'uomo, questo è il luogo del mio trono, luogo delle piante dei miei piedi, dove io abiterò in mezzo ai figli d'Israele per sempre. 8 by putting their threshold beside my threshold and their doorposts beside my door-posts, with a partywal shared by them and me. They used to defile my holy name by their loathsome practices, and this is why Iput an end to them in my anger.	8 mettendo la loro soglia accanto alla mia e i loro stipiti vicini ai miei, con una semplice parete tra me e loro, e macchiando d'impurità il mio santo nome con le abominazioni che hanno commesso, cosicché li consumai nella mia ira.
9 From now on they wil banish their whorings and the corpses of their kings from my presence and Ishall live among them for ever.	9 Ormai allontaneranno da me le loro prostituzioni e i cadaveri dei loro re: e abiterò in mezzo a loro per sempre!
10 'Son of man, describe this Temple to the House of Israel, to shame them out of their loathsomepractices. (Let them draw up the plan of it.)	10 Tu, figlio dell'uomo, descrivi il tempio alla casa d'Israele; essi si vergogneranno delle loro colpe. Misurino il modello,
11 And, if they are ashamed of their behaviour, show them the design and plan of the Temple, its exitsand entrances, its shape, how al of it is arranged, the entire design and all its principles. Give them al this inwriting so that they can see and take note of its design and the way it is al arranged and carry it out.	11 perché si vergognino di tutto quello che hanno fatto. Fa' loro conoscere il piano del tempio: il suo arredo, le sue uscite e le sue entrate, tutto il piano e tutte le norme relative. Il suo piano e le sue istruzioni in merito scrivile sotto i loro occhi. Rispettino tutto il piano e tutte le norme relative e le eseguano.
12 This is the charter of the Temple: all the surrounding space on the mountain top is an especially holyarea. (Such is the charter of the Temple.)'	12 Queste sono le istruzioni sul tempio; sulla cima del monte, tutto il suo perimetro da ogni lato, è la parte santissima. Ecco, queste sono le istruzioni circa il tempio".
13 These were the dimensions of the altar, in cubits each of a cubit plus a handsbreadth. The base: onecubit high and one cubit wide; the space by the runnel, al round the edge of the altar, one handsbreadth.	13 Queste poi sono le misure dell'altare, in cubiti di un cubito e un palmo: un incavo profondo un cubito con un cubito di larghezza e con un orlo di una spanna sulla sua sporgenza tutt'attorno. 14 From the ground level of the base up to the lower plinth, two cubits high and one cubit wide; from thelesser plinth to the greater plinth, four cubits high and one cubit wide.	14 dall'incavo a terra al bordo inferiore: due cubiti con un cubito di larghezza; dal bordo piccolo al bordo grande: quattro cubiti e un cubito di larghezza;

16 the hearth was four-square: twelve cubits by twelve cubits;	16 Il fornello era quadrilatero: dodici cubiti per lato.
17 and the square plinth: fourteen cubits by fourteen cubits; and the ledge al round: half a cubit; and thebase: one cubit al round. The steps were on the east side.	17 Il bordo era quadrato: quattordici cubiti per lato; l'orlo attorno ad esso era mezzo cubito e l'incavo tutt'attorno un cubito. 18 He said to me, 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "As regards the altar, this is how things mustbe done when it has been built for the sacrifice of the burnt offering and for the pouring of blood.	18 Mi disse: "Figlio dell'uomo, così dice il Signore Dio: Queste sono le norme circa l'altare, quando sarà costruito, per offrirvi sopra l'olocausto e aspergervi il sangue.
19 To the levitical priests -- those of the race of Zadok -- who approach me to serve me -- declares theLord Yahweh -- you must give a young bul as a sacrifice for sin.	19 Destinerai per i sacerdoti leviti, della stirpe di Zadòk, che si possono avvicinare a me per servirmi, oracolo del Signore Dio: un giovenco in sacrificio per il peccato.
20 You must take some of its blood and put it on the four horns, on the four corners of the plinth and onthe surrounding ledge. In this way you wil purify it and make expiation on it.	20 Prenderai del sangue e lo verserai sui quattro corni dell'altare e sui quattro angoli dell'altare del bordo e sull'orlo tutt'attorno; purificherai le colpe e ne farai l'espiazione.
21 Then take the bul of the sacrifice for sin and burn it in that part of the Temple which is cut off fromthe sanctuary.	21 Poi prenderai il giovenco del peccato e lo brucerai in luogo appartato del tempio, fuori del santuario.
22 On the second day, you must offer an unblemished he-goat as the sacrifice for sin, and the altar mustbe purified again as was done with the bul .	22 Al secondo giorno mi presenterai un capro perfetto in sacrificio per il peccato; toglieranno le colpe dell'altare come le tolsero con il giovenco.
23 When you have finished the purification, you must offer a young, unblemished bull and anunblemished ram from the flock.	23 Quando avrai terminato di togliere le colpe dell'altare mi presenterai un giovenco perfetto e un montone perfetto;
24 You must present them before Yahweh, and the priests wil sprinkle salt on them and offer them asburnt offerings to Yahweh.	24 li presenterai al Signore, poi i sacerdoti vi verseranno il sale e li offriranno in olocausto al Signore.
25 As a sacrifice for sin, every day for seven days you must offer a he-goat, a bull and an unblemishedram from the flock.	25 Ciò per sette giorni: un capro al giorno in sacrificio per il peccato e un giovenco del gregge con un montone perfetto.
26 In this way the altar will be expiated and wil be purified and inaugurated.	26 Per sette giorni faranno l'espiazione dell'altare, lo purificheranno e lo inaugureranno.
27 At the end of that time, on the eighth day and afterwards, the priest wil offer your burnt offerings andyour communion sacrifices on the altar, and I shall look favourably on you -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	27 Terminati quei giorni, dall'ottavo in poi i sacerdoti immoleranno sull'altare i vostri olocausti, i vostri sacrifici di comunione e vi sarò finalmente favorevole. Oracolo del Signore Dio".
