Ezekiel 43

1 He took me to the gate, the one facing east.	1 - Allora mi condusse alla porta che prospettava l'oriente.
2 I saw the glory of the God of Israel approaching from the east. A sound came with him like the soundof the ocean, and the earth shone with his glory.	2 Ed ecco la gloria del Dio d'Israele che entrava per la via orientale e faceva un rumore come il rumore di molte acque e la terra era tutta illuminata dalla sua maestà.
3 This vision was like the one I had seen when I had come for the destruction of the city, and like theone I had seen by the River Chebar. Then I fell to the ground.	3 E la visione che vedeva era somigliante a quella che aveva veduta quando venne per distruggere la città, somigliante nell'aspetto a quella veduta presso il fiume Cobar, ed io caddi prostrato sulla mia faccia.
4 The glory of Yahweh arrived at the Temple by the east gate.	4 E la maestà del Signore entrò nel tempio per la via della porta che prospettava l'oriente.
5 The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; I saw the glory of Yahweh fil the Temple.	5 E lo spirito mi sollevò e m'introdusse nel cortile interiore, ed ecco, della gloria del Signore era ripiena tutta la casa.
6 And I heard someone speaking to me from the Temple while the man stood beside me.	6 E udii parlarmi dalla casa, e un uomo che stava in piedi vicino a me mi disse:
7 He said, 'Son of man, this is the dais of my throne, the step on which I rest my feet. I shall live hereamong the Israelites for ever; and the House of Israel, they and their kings, will never again defile my holy namewith their whorings and the corpses of their kings,	7 «Figlio dell'uomo, ecco il luogo del mio trono, il luogo dove posano le piante dei miei piedi, dove abito in mezzo dei figli d'Israele in eterno; e quei della casa d'Israele non profaneranno più il mio santo nome, nè essi, nè i loro re con le loro fornicazioni e con i cadaveri dei loro re, e con le alture.
8 by putting their threshold beside my threshold and their doorposts beside my door-posts, with a partywal shared by them and me. They used to defile my holy name by their loathsome practices, and this is why Iput an end to them in my anger.	8 Fabbricando la soglia di questi presso alla mia soglia, e i loro stipiti presso i miei stipiti; solo un muro era tra me ed essi, e profanarono il mio santo nome colle abominazioni che operarono; per cui li ho, nel mio sdegno, sterminati.
9 From now on they wil banish their whorings and the corpses of their kings from my presence and Ishall live among them for ever.	9 Or dunque, gettino lungi da me il loro culto di prostituzione e l'inerte congerie dei loro re e io abiterò in mezzo ad essi per sempre.
10 'Son of man, describe this Temple to the House of Israel, to shame them out of their loathsomepractices. (Let them draw up the plan of it.)	10 E tu, o figlio dell'uomo, mostra il tempio alla casa d'Israele e si confondano delle loro iniquità; ne misurino la sua struttura
11 And, if they are ashamed of their behaviour, show them the design and plan of the Temple, its exitsand entrances, its shape, how al of it is arranged, the entire design and all its principles. Give them al this inwriting so that they can see and take note of its design and the way it is al arranged and carry it out.	11 e abbiano vergogna di tutto quello che hanno operato; la figura della casa, la sua struttura, le uscite e gl'ingressi, e il suo disegno e le sue disposizioni e il suo ordinamento e le sue leggi, tutto fa' loro vedere, metti tutto sotto i loro occhi per iscritto, affinchè conservino la sua descrizione e i suoi statuti e li rimettano in opera.
12 This is the charter of the Temple: all the surrounding space on the mountain top is an especially holyarea. (Such is the charter of the Temple.)'	12 Questo è il carattere di questa casa sulla sommità del monte, tutto intero il suo recinto è sacrosanto; il suo carattere è questo».
13 These were the dimensions of the altar, in cubits each of a cubit plus a handsbreadth. The base: onecubit high and one cubit wide; the space by the runnel, al round the edge of the altar, one handsbreadth.	13 Queste poi sono le dimensioni dell'altare a cubito perfetto, che aveva un cubito e un palmo: il canale aveva un cubito e uno di larghezza e l'orlo col suo rilievo a labbro era tutto intorno alto un palmo. Era questa la fossa dell'altare.
14 From the ground level of the base up to the lower plinth, two cubits high and one cubit wide; from thelesser plinth to the greater plinth, four cubits high and one cubit wide.	14 Dall'alveolo a fior di terra, fino a tutto il basamento inferiore, erano due cubiti e la larghezza un cubito, dal basamento minore fino al basamento maggiore erano quattro cubiti e la larghezza di un cubito.
15 The altar hearth: four cubits high, with four horns projecting from the hearth,	15 L'Ariel era di quattro cubiti e dall'Ariel si alzavano al di sopra le quattro corna.
16 the hearth was four-square: twelve cubits by twelve cubits;	16 E l'Ariel era di dodici cubiti di lunghezza, per dodici cubiti in larghezza, in forma quadrata a lati uguali.
17 and the square plinth: fourteen cubits by fourteen cubits; and the ledge al round: half a cubit; and thebase: one cubit al round. The steps were on the east side.	17 E il basamento di quattordici cubiti in lunghezza, per quattordici cubiti in larghezza dai quattro angoli e una cornice che giravagli intorno di mezzo cubito e un alveolo di un cubito all'ingiro; i suoi gradini erano vòlti a oriente.
18 He said to me, 'Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this, "As regards the altar, this is how things mustbe done when it has been built for the sacrifice of the burnt offering and for the pouring of blood.	18 E mi disse: «Figlio dell'uomo, così dice il Signore Dio: - Queste sono le prescrizioni dell'altare pel giorno quando sarà ricostruito, affinchè si offra sopra di esso l'olocausto e si faccia l'aspersione del sangue.
19 To the levitical priests -- those of the race of Zadok -- who approach me to serve me -- declares theLord Yahweh -- you must give a young bul as a sacrifice for sin.	19 Tu le consegnerai ai sacerdoti, leviti della discendenza di Sadoc, che si accostano a me, dice il Signore Dio, per offrirmi un vitello allevato alla mandra pel peccato.
20 You must take some of its blood and put it on the four horns, on the four corners of the plinth and onthe surrounding ledge. In this way you wil purify it and make expiation on it.	20 E prenderai del suo sangue e lo spargerai sulle quattro corna dell'altare e sui quattro angoli del basamento e sulla cornice all'ingiro in sua purificazione ed espiazione.
21 Then take the bul of the sacrifice for sin and burn it in that part of the Temple which is cut off fromthe sanctuary.	21 E prenderai il vitello offerto pel peccato e lo abbrucerai in un luogo separato della casa, fuori del santuario.
22 On the second day, you must offer an unblemished he-goat as the sacrifice for sin, and the altar mustbe purified again as was done with the bul .	22 E nel secondo giorno offrirai un capretto senza macchia pel peccato e faranno l'espiazione dell'altare, come l'avevano fatta col vitello.
23 When you have finished the purification, you must offer a young, unblemished bull and anunblemished ram from the flock.	23 Compiuta che avrai la sua espiazione, offrirai un vitello giovine senza macchia e un montone tolto dalla greggia senza macchia.
24 You must present them before Yahweh, and the priests wil sprinkle salt on them and offer them asburnt offerings to Yahweh.	24 E li offrirai nel cospetto del Signore, e i sacerdoti li cospargeranno di sale e li offriranno in olocausto al Signore.
25 As a sacrifice for sin, every day for seven days you must offer a he-goat, a bull and an unblemishedram from the flock.	25 Per sette giorni farai il sacrificio del capro pel peccato ogni giorno, e così offriranno un vitello tolto dall'armento e un montone di greggia senza difetti.
26 In this way the altar will be expiated and wil be purified and inaugurated.	26 Per sette giorni faranno l'espiazione e la purificazione dell'altare e lo consacreranno.
27 At the end of that time, on the eighth day and afterwards, the priest wil offer your burnt offerings andyour communion sacrifices on the altar, and I shall look favourably on you -- declares the Lord Yahweh." '	27 Compiuti i giorni, nell'ottavo e poi in seguito, i sacerdoti offriranno sopra l'altare i vostri olocausti e i vostri sacrifici pacifici, e io sarò ben disposto per voi», dice il Signore Dio.
