1 Then, in vision I saw that above the solid surface over the heads of the winged creatures there wasabove them something like sapphire, which seemed to be like a throne.	1 ואראה והנה אל הרקיע אשר על ראש הכרבים כאבן ספיר כמראה דמות כסא נראה עליהם
2 He then said to the man dressed in linen, 'Go in between the wheels below the winged creatures; takea handful of burning coal from between the winged creatures and scatter it over the city.' He went in as Iwatched.	2 ויאמר אל האיש לבש הבדים ויאמר בא אל בינות לגלגל אל תחת לכרוב ומלא חפניך גחלי אש מבינות לכרבים וזרק על העיר ויבא לעיני
3 The winged creatures were on the right of the Temple as the man went in, and the cloud fil ed theinner court.	3 והכרבים עמדים מימין לבית בבאו האיש והענן מלא את החצר הפנימית
4 The glory of Yahweh rose from above the winged creatures, towards the threshold of the Temple; theTemple was fil ed by the cloud and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of Yahweh.	4 וירם כבוד יהוה מעל הכרוב על מפתן הבית וימלא הבית את הענן והחצר מלאה את נגה כבוד יהוה
5 The noise of the winged creatures' wings could be heard even in the outer court, like the voice of GodAlmighty when he speaks.	5 וקול כנפי הכרובים נשמע עד החצר החיצנה כקול אל שדי בדברו
6 When he had given the order to the man dressed in linen, 'Take the fire from between the wheels,between the winged creatures,' the man went in and stood by one of the wheels.	6 ויהי בצותו את האיש לבש הבדים לאמר קח אש מבינות לגלגל מבינות לכרובים ויבא ויעמד אצל האופן
7 One of the winged creatures then reached his hand out towards the fire between the wingedcreatures, took some of it and put it into the hands of the man dressed in linen, who took it and came out again.	7 וישלח הכרוב את ידו מבינות לכרובים אל האש אשר בינות הכרבים וישא ויתן אל חפני לבש הבדים ויקח ויצא
8 There appeared to be what looked like a human hand under the winged creatures' wings.	8 וירא לכרבים תבנית יד אדם תחת כנפיהם
9 And I looked, and there were four wheels beside the winged creatures, one wheel beside each wingedcreature, and the appearance of the wheels was like the sparkle of chrysolite.	9 ואראה והנה ארבעה אופנים אצל הכרובים אופן אחד אצל הכרוב אחד ואופן אחד אצל הכרוב אחד ומראה האופנים כעין אבן תרשיש
10 In appearance, al four looked alike, as though each wheel had another wheel inside it.	10 ומראיהם דמות אחד לארבעתם כאשר יהיה האופן בתוך האופן
11 In whichever of the four directions they moved, they did not need to turn as they moved, butwhichever way the head was facing there they fol owed; they did not turn as they moved,	11 בלכתם אל ארבעת רבעיהם ילכו לא יסבו בלכתם כי המקום אשר יפנה הראש אחריו ילכו לא יסבו בלכתם
12 and their entire bodies, their backs, their hands, their wings, as wel as the wheels, had eyes al theway round (the wheels of al four).	12 וכל בשרם וגבהם וידיהם וכנפיהם והאופנים מלאים עינים סביב לארבעתם אופניהם
13 In my hearing, these wheels were called 'galgal'.	13 לאופנים להם קורא הגלגל באזני
14 Each had four faces; the first was a winged creature's face, the second a human face, the third alion's face and the fourth an eagle's face.	14 וארבעה פנים לאחד פני האחד פני הכרוב ופני השני פני אדם והשלישי פני אריה והרביעי פני נשר
15 The winged creatures rose; this was the being I had seen by the River Chebar.	15 וירמו הכרובים היא החיה אשר ראיתי בנהר כבר
16 When the winged creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them; and when the winged creaturesraised their wings to leave the ground, the wheels did not turn beside them.	16 ובלכת הכרובים ילכו האופנים אצלם ובשאת הכרובים את כנפיהם לרום מעל הארץ לא יסבו האופנים גם הם מאצלם
17 When the former halted the latter halted; when the former rose, the latter rose with them, since theyshared the same living spirit.	17 בעמדם יעמדו וברומם ירומו אותם כי רוח החיה בהם
18 The glory of Yahweh then came out over the Temple threshold and paused over the wingedcreatures.	18 ויצא כבוד יהוה מעל מפתן הבית ויעמד על הכרובים
19 These raised their wings and rose from the ground as I watched, and the wheels were beside them.They paused at the entrance to the east gate of the Temple of Yahweh, with the glory of the God of Israel over them, above.	19 וישאו הכרובים את כנפיהם וירומו מן הארץ לעיני בצאתם והאופנים לעמתם ויעמד פתח שער בית יהוה הקדמוני וכבוד אלהי ישראל עליהם מלמעלה
20 This was the winged creature I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the River Chebar; I knew thatthey were winged creatures.	20 היא החיה אשר ראיתי תחת אלהי ישראל בנהר כבר ואדע כי כרובים המה
21 Each had four faces and four wings and what seemed to be human hands under their wings.	21 ארבעה ארבעה פנים לאחד וארבע כנפים לאחד ודמות ידי אדם תחת כנפיהם
22 Their faces were like those I had seen by the River Chebar. Each one moved straight forward.	22 ודמות פניהם המה הפנים אשר ראיתי על נהר כבר מראיהם ואותם איש אל עבר פניו ילכו
