NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Then, in vision I saw that above the solid surface over the heads of the winged creatures there wasabove them something like sapphire, which seemed to be like a throne.	1 Yo miré, y sobre la plataforma que estaba encima de la cabeza de los querubines, había como una piedra de zafiro: por encima de ellos, se veía algo así como la figura de un trono.
2 He then said to the man dressed in linen, 'Go in between the wheels below the winged creatures; takea handful of burning coal from between the winged creatures and scatter it over the city.' He went in as Iwatched.	2 El Señor dijo al hombre vestido de lino: «Entra en medio del círculo, debajo del querubín, llena tus manos con las brasas incandescentes que están entre los querubines, y espárcelas sobre la ciudad». Y el hombre entró allí, ante mis propios ojos.
3 The winged creatures were on the right of the Temple as the man went in, and the cloud fil ed theinner court.	3 Cuando el hombre entró, los querubines estaban a la derecha de la Casa y la nube llenaba el atrio interior.
4 The glory of Yahweh rose from above the winged creatures, towards the threshold of the Temple; theTemple was fil ed by the cloud and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of Yahweh.	4 La gloria del Señor se elevó por encima del querubín y se dirigió hacia el umbral de la Casa: la nube llenó la Casa, y el atrio de llenó de claridad de la gloria del Señor.
5 The noise of the winged creatures' wings could be heard even in the outer court, like the voice of GodAlmighty when he speaks.	5 El ruido de las alas de los querubines se oyó hasta en el atrio exterior, como la voz del Todopoderoso cuando habla.
6 When he had given the order to the man dressed in linen, 'Take the fire from between the wheels,between the winged creatures,' the man went in and stood by one of the wheels.	6 Cuando el Señor ordenó al hombre vestido de lino que tomara fuego de en medio del círculo, entre los querubines, el hombre avanzó y se detuvo al lado de la rueda.
7 One of the winged creatures then reached his hand out towards the fire between the wingedcreatures, took some of it and put it into the hands of the man dressed in linen, who took it and came out again.	7 El querubín extendió su mano hacia el fuego que estaba entre los querubines, lo tomó y lo puso en las manos del hombre vestido de lino: este lo recibió y salió.
8 There appeared to be what looked like a human hand under the winged creatures' wings.	8 Entonces apareció bajo las alas de los querubines algo así como una mano de hombre.
9 And I looked, and there were four wheels beside the winged creatures, one wheel beside each wingedcreature, and the appearance of the wheels was like the sparkle of chrysolite.	9 Yo miré, y vi que había cuatro ruedas al lado de los querubines, una al lado de cada uno, y el aspecto de las ruedas era brillante como el topacio.
10 In appearance, al four looked alike, as though each wheel had another wheel inside it.	10 En cuanto a su aspecto, las cuatro tenían la misma forma, y era como si una rueda estuviera metida dentro de la otra.
11 In whichever of the four directions they moved, they did not need to turn as they moved, butwhichever way the head was facing there they fol owed; they did not turn as they moved,	11 Cuando avanzaban, podían ir en las cuatro direcciones y no se volvían al avanzar, porque iban derecho hacia el lugar adonde estaba orientada la cabeza, sin volverse al avanzar.
12 and their entire bodies, their backs, their hands, their wings, as wel as the wheels, had eyes al theway round (the wheels of al four).	12 Y todo su cuerpo, sus espaldas, sus manos y sus alas, lo mismo que las ruedas, estaban llenas de ojos, alrededor de las cuatro ruedas.
13 In my hearing, these wheels were called 'galgal'.	13 Yo oí que se daba a estas ruedas el nombre de «círculo».
14 Each had four faces; the first was a winged creature's face, the second a human face, the third alion's face and the fourth an eagle's face.	14 Cada uno de ellos tenía cuatro rostros: el primero era un rostro de querubín, el segundo, un rostro de hombre, el tercero, un rostro de león y el cuarto, un rostro de águila.
15 The winged creatures rose; this was the being I had seen by the River Chebar.	15 Los querubines se elevaron: eran los mismos seres vivientes que yo había visto a orillas del río Quebar.
16 When the winged creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them; and when the winged creaturesraised their wings to leave the ground, the wheels did not turn beside them.	16 Cuando los querubines avanzaban, las ruedas avanzaban al lado de ellos, y cuando desplegaban sus alas para elevarse por encima del suelo, las ruedas no se apartaban de su lado.
17 When the former halted the latter halted; when the former rose, the latter rose with them, since theyshared the same living spirit.	17 Cuando los querubines se detenían, ellas también se detenían, y cuando se elevaban, las ruedas se elevaban al mismo tiempo, porque el espíritu de los seres vivientes estaba en las ruedas.
18 The glory of Yahweh then came out over the Temple threshold and paused over the wingedcreatures.	18 La gloria del Señor salió de encima del umbral de la Casa y se detuvo sobre los querubines.
19 These raised their wings and rose from the ground as I watched, and the wheels were beside them.They paused at the entrance to the east gate of the Temple of Yahweh, with the glory of the God of Israel over them, above.	19 Al salir, los querubines desplegaron sus alas y se elevaron del suelo, ante mis propios ojos, y las ruedas lo hicieron al mismo tiempo. Ellos se detuvieron a la entrada de la puerta oriental de la Casa de Señor, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos, en lo alto.
20 This was the winged creature I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the River Chebar; I knew thatthey were winged creatures.	20 Eran los seres vivientes que yo había visto debajo del Dios de Israel a orillas del río Quebar, y reconocí que eran querubines.
21 Each had four faces and four wings and what seemed to be human hands under their wings.	21 Cada uno tenía cuatro rostros y cuatro alas, y una especie de manos de hombre debajo de sus alas.
22 Their faces were like those I had seen by the River Chebar. Each one moved straight forward.	22 En cuanto a la forma de sus rostros, era la misma que yo había visto en una visión a orillas del río Quebar. Cada uno avanzaba derecho hacia adelante.
