NEW JERUSALEM	BIBLIA
1 Then, in vision I saw that above the solid surface over the heads of the winged creatures there wasabove them something like sapphire, which seemed to be like a throne.	1 Miré y vi que sobre el firmamento que estaba sobre la cabeza de los querubines aparecía, semejante a la piedra de zafiro, algo como una forma de trono, por encima de ellos.
2 He then said to the man dressed in linen, 'Go in between the wheels below the winged creatures; takea handful of burning coal from between the winged creatures and scatter it over the city.' He went in as Iwatched.	2 Y dijo al hombre vestido de lino: «Métete entre las ruedas, debajo de los querubines, toma a manos llenas brasas ardientes de entre los querubines y espárcelas por la ciudad». Y él entró, ante mis ojos.
3 The winged creatures were on the right of the Temple as the man went in, and the cloud fil ed theinner court.	3 Los querubines estaban parados a la derecha de la Casa cuando el hombre entró, y la nube llenaba el atrio interior.
4 The glory of Yahweh rose from above the winged creatures, towards the threshold of the Temple; theTemple was fil ed by the cloud and the court was full of the brightness of the glory of Yahweh.	4 La gloria de Yahveh se elevó de encima de los querubines hacia el umbral de la Casa y la Casa se llenó de la nube, mientras el atrio estaba lleno del resplandor de la gloria de Yahveh.
5 The noise of the winged creatures' wings could be heard even in the outer court, like the voice of GodAlmighty when he speaks.	5 Y el ruido de las alas de los querubines llegaba hasta el atrio exterior, semejante a la voz del Dios Sadday cuando habla.
6 When he had given the order to the man dressed in linen, 'Take the fire from between the wheels,between the winged creatures,' the man went in and stood by one of the wheels.	6 Cuando dio esta orden al hombre vestido de lino: «Toma fuego de en medio de las ruedas, de entre los querubines», el hombré fue y se detuvo junto a la rueda;
7 One of the winged creatures then reached his hand out towards the fire between the wingedcreatures, took some of it and put it into the hands of the man dressed in linen, who took it and came out again.	7 el querubín alargó su mano de entre los querubines hacia el fuego que había en medio de los querubines, lo tomó y lo puso en las manos del hombre vestido de lino. Este lo tomó y salió.
8 There appeared to be what looked like a human hand under the winged creatures' wings.	8 Entonces apareció en los querubines una especie de mano humana debajo de sus alas.
9 And I looked, and there were four wheels beside the winged creatures, one wheel beside each wingedcreature, and the appearance of the wheels was like the sparkle of chrysolite.	9 Miré: había cuatro ruedas al lado de los querubines, cada rueda junto a cada querubín, y el aspecto de las ruedas era como el destello del crisólito.
10 In appearance, al four looked alike, as though each wheel had another wheel inside it.	10 Las cuatro parecían tener la misma forma, como si una rueda estuviese dentro de la otra.
11 In whichever of the four directions they moved, they did not need to turn as they moved, butwhichever way the head was facing there they fol owed; they did not turn as they moved,	11 En su marcha, avanzaban en las cuatro direcciones; no se volvían en su marcha; seguían, en efecto, la dirección del lado adonde miraba la cabeza, y no se volvían en su marcha.
12 and their entire bodies, their backs, their hands, their wings, as wel as the wheels, had eyes al theway round (the wheels of al four).	12 Y todo su cuerpo, su espalda, sus manos y sus alas, así como las ruedas, estaban llenos de destellos todo alrededor; sus ruedas, las de los cuatro.
13 In my hearing, these wheels were called 'galgal'.	13 Oí que a las ruedas se les daba el nombre de «galgal».
14 Each had four faces; the first was a winged creature's face, the second a human face, the third alion's face and the fourth an eagle's face.	14 Y cada uno tenía cuatro caras: la primera era la cara del querubín, la segunda una cara de hombre, la tercera una cara de león y la cuarta una cara de águila.
15 The winged creatures rose; this was the being I had seen by the River Chebar.	15 Los querubines se levantaron: era el ser que yo había visto sobre el río Kebar.
16 When the winged creatures moved, the wheels moved beside them; and when the winged creaturesraised their wings to leave the ground, the wheels did not turn beside them.	16 Cuando los querubines avanzaban, avanzaban las ruedas a su lado; cuando los querubines desplegaban sus alas para elevarse del suelo, las ruedas no se volvían tampoco de su lado.
17 When the former halted the latter halted; when the former rose, the latter rose with them, since theyshared the same living spirit.	17 Cuando ellos se paraban, se paraban ellas, y cuando ellos se elevaban, se elevaban con ellos las ruedas, porque el espíritu del ser estaba en ellas.
18 The glory of Yahweh then came out over the Temple threshold and paused over the wingedcreatures.	18 La gloria de Yahveh salió de sobre el umbral de la Casa y se posó sobre los querubines.
19 These raised their wings and rose from the ground as I watched, and the wheels were beside them.They paused at the entrance to the east gate of the Temple of Yahweh, with the glory of the God of Israel over them, above.	19 Los querubines desplegaron sus alas y se elevaron del suelo ante mis ojos, al salir, y las ruedas con ellos. Y se detuvieron a la entrada del pórtico oriental de la Casa de Yahveh; la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba encima de ellos.
20 This was the winged creature I had seen beneath the God of Israel by the River Chebar; I knew thatthey were winged creatures.	20 Era el ser que yo había visto debajo del Dios de Israel en el río Kebar; y supe que eran querubines.
21 Each had four faces and four wings and what seemed to be human hands under their wings.	21 Cada uno tenía cuatro caras y cuatro alas, y bajo sus alas formas de manos humanas.
22 Their faces were like those I had seen by the River Chebar. Each one moved straight forward.	22 En cuanto a la forma de sus caras, tenían la apariencia de las caras que yo había visto junto al río Kebar. Cada uno marchaba de frente a derecho.
